Hi
@Potagonia! Yes you can keep the rootzone while drying the whole plant upside-down, this will result in a longer drying process and is supposed to increase the amount of cannabinoids in the buds. I've tried this last year and did not notice any kind of improvement, despite the longer drying process. However, it's stil a good idea to keep the roots, because roots are valuable if you know what to do with it. Indeed, you can use roots to create your own medicine: lip balm, skin cream, anti inflammatory, pain relief paste...So don't throw out your roots unless you really don't know what to do with it. A basic usage is to boil stems & roots for a great canna-infused tea. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date, and enjoy your harvest! 👊
