Sweet Valley Kush - First Grow since over 10 Years
It's been more than ten years since my last grow. Back then it was still old school under 600W NDL. I'm curious what the difference is compared to LED. Have fun with my first report.

02.02.2024: Germination in a paper towel with RO water and 0,75g/L BioEnhancer - Greenhouse Feeding

03.02.2024: Unfortunately, I've already made a mistake. Only three out of four seeds germinated. I have now added the fifth seed. On the next grow I will germinate five directly and continue growing with the best four.
Three germinated seeds planted in 0.4L pots.

06.02.2024: Not much is happening at the moment. The plants are currently forming roots and growing slowly.
Today I planted the fifth seed in a 0.4L pot.
Let's see if there's anything else to come.

08.02.2024: The plants are slowly getting bigger and they were watered for the first time after planting.
The pot only weighed 130g and I poured it back to 160g.
The fourth or fifth seed is now germinating!
Now things can continue as planned.

Today I drop the humidifier from 85% to 80%
The plants now use the water relatively quickly. now has to water every two days.
Before watering the pots had 125g and after watering 180g.

16.03. Day 42!
Today I defoliated again and used the HST method for the first time. They look a bit stressed again but in two days it will be over. The flowering phase will begin in the next 14 days. enough time to regenerate.
22.03. Day 50:
Today is a big day for Germany! Historical! Today the final hurdle for legalization was passed! So today I decided to send my little ones into bloom. Especially since the fertilizer is slowly running out. It can be seen very clearly in a plant.
Every plant received today:
-80g Bio bloom (4g/liter)
-3 liters of water:
1.5ml CalMag
3g bioenhancer
7 drops of Bio Down
6.8PH

23.03. Day 51! Day 1 of 12/12!
Everything looks good so far. except for the one plant at the front right. she has slight problems. firstly because the fertilizer had been used up. on the other hand because I believe that the PH value in the soil is much too high and therefore the absorption of CalMag is reduced.

Today I raised my little ones 25cm higher and was finally able to stretch my net.

In my previous grows I had more problems with the height and not the other way around.

Today I received my measuring device to test the PH value in the soil.
The PH value is absolutely within the range of 6.3-6.8 at 19.5 degrees Celsius.
Why the little one on the front right has now become so bright and had a Calmag deficit was probably simply because there was not enough fertilizer. I have now increased from 0.3 to 0.5 per liter.

I now have an EC measuring device with which you can measure the values in the ground.
The value before fertilization was 130ppm.
I adjusted the fertilizer solution to a value of 720ppm with the additions mentioned above.
After watering, the soil had a value of 260 ppm.
According to this, there is far too little fertilizer in the pot.
————I added 4g of bio bloom (greenhouse) per liter of soil at the beginning of the flowering phase and another 1g at the end of the second week of flowering. I didn't think the fertilizer wasn't enough.————

Ab wann wird eigentlich gezählt? Ich habe die Samen direkt in der Erde keimen lassen. Am 3 . Tag hatte ich 4 Keimlinge.
Wird ab Pflanzung gezählt oder ab Keimling bzw. Erstes Blattpaar?
Oder sogar erstes Fingerblatt
Ich finde ne Menge nur keine Antwort darauf.
@Weedmatze, ab der Keimung wird gezählt. So hab ich das zumindest vor zehn Jahren gelernt 🤣 ob das heute immer noch so ist….bei mir schon 🤣 kommt aber auf den einen oder anderen Tag nicht an. Ab Blüte wird ja wieder neu gezählt (ausgenommen Autoflower)
Ich kann es bis heute nicht wirklich glauben!!!
Deine Babys sehen echt mega aus ich bin echt gespannt was raus kommt.
Ich bin selbst bei mir unschlüssig wie lange ich meine Vegi fahren soll.
Vllt den ersten extrem kurz halten aber ob sich das lohnt.
@HomeGrow47, ich hab auch schon mehrere grows hinter mir aber auch schon 10 Jahre her. Mit 600er ndl…immer viel zu heiß im Zelt. Damals noch mit canna vera und flores. Jetzt mal die bio Variante. Nach dem run werde ich Evtl mal Autos growen. Da habe ich noch keine Erfahrung mit. Ich bin sehr gespannt was bei dir in den nächsten Wochen passieren wird. Ich werde es definitiv verfolgen. Hoffe wir können unsere Erfahrungen teilen und uns austauschen. Bin für jeden Verbesserungsvorschlag zu haben. Werde auch bald mein Netz spannen aber die sind einfach soooo klein und buschig…Ich hoffe die stretchen jetzt schnell. Sonst hatte ich immer Probleme mit der Höhe…jetzt genau anders rum 🤣 Habe mir heute ein ph Bodenmessgerät bestellt. Ich vermute das mein Boden weit über 7PH liegt. Denn mir ist zu spät aufgefallen, dass mein Wasser im Wassertank für den Tropfblumat auf 8,2PH gestiegen ist. Deshalb auch der calmag Mangel bei der vorne rechts. Gieße jetzt wieder manuell mit PH6,8 damit ich das wieder einigermaßen in den Griff bekomme. 😒

@Weedmatze, danke! Ich bin auch sehr zufrieden. Die LST Technik sieht zwar immer etwas rabiat aus aber die kleinen stecken das sehr gut weg. Man sieht deutlich, dass die Pflanzen dadurch breiter werden und stärkere Seitentriebe ausbilden.

Das wird ein reiner Indoor Grow.
Hab mich bewusst erstmal für eine klein bleibende Variante entschieden.
Den kleinen geht es super! Ich hab am 09.02. Dünger untergemischt und ich muss sagen die Mädels sehen sehr gesund aus.
Damals habe ich auch Canna Terra und Flores verwendet. Heute probiere ich mal die Bio Variante von Greenhouse. Bin gespannt!
@MistaOC, Ja safe das mit den höhen kenn ich von meinen alten grows zu gut XD
Netz werde ich nutzen denke 1 mal toppen und lst von anfang an denke werd sie direkt 45 grad abkicken wenn sie es zulassen
@HomeGrow47, hört sich gut an. Ich denke auch das passt so grob von der Dauer. Hast ja auch nur 180cm in der Höhe. Das wird schnell mal zu eng. Wobei, wenn du ein Netz spannst und dann schön hst machst dann passt das. Ich hab mir heute schnell vier Erhöhungen für die kleinen gebaut damit die mal 25cm höher kommen. Die sind einfach viel zu klein 🤣 dann hab ich die auf ca. 60cm Höhe und kann endlich mein erstes Netz spannen. Und ich muss nicht immer auf den Knien rum rudern zum Gießen 🤣

@Biotabs, ja meinst du? Ich bin jetzt bei 85% Licht Intensität bei 40cm Abstand. Vorne rechts die ist schon seit Wochen am struggeln. Meinst du evtl. Die vorne rechts? Cal Mag Defizit habe ich ja vermutet? Die anderen sehen relativ ok aus aber werden unten rum langsam gelb. Deshalb habe ich noch bisschen gedüngt. Ich hoffe es wird die nächsten Wochen alles gut gehen

Und du verlernst es auch nicht mehr. Nach 10 Jahren ohne Grow musste ich nur nochmal kurz auffrischen dann war ich wieder voll drin. Aber perfekt wird es nur selten! Egal wieviel Erfahrung man hat. Ich hoffe dass ich in diesem Durchgang mal die 1g/watt Grenze erreiche. Wir werden sehen 😎

@Biotabs, hey vielen Dank für die anerkennenden Worte! Das freut mich sehr. Ja scheint als hätte ich nichts verlernt aber man selber hat ja immer so einen hohen Anspruch an sich selbst, dass es immer was gibt was man hätte besser machen können.
Ich habe euer Produkt mit 5 Sternen bewertet weil es die einfach verdient hat! Bactrex kann man definitiv weiterempfehlen. Eure anderen Produkte habe ich noch nicht getestet aber werde ich bestimmt! In meinem aktuellen grow habe ich auch wieder Bactrex verwendet 👍🏻
