Week 2 of vegetation has arrived, bringing with it both progress and unexpected challenges in the journey of my Mimosa x Orange Punch auto plant.
As the plant continues to grow, it has begun to reveal its gender, showing signs of both male and female characteristics, resembling a hermaphrodite.
This unexpected development has prompted swift action to prevent any unwanted pollination.
I have relocated the plant to a separate area to mitigate the risk of accidental pollination of nearby plants.
In response to the appearance of male attributes, I have carefully removed any visible pollen sacs, diligently monitoring the plant each day for any further signs of male development.
The goal is to prevent any potential pollen release that could lead to pollination and seed production.
If additional male traits emerge, I am prepared to take decisive action and cut the plant.
Despite the challenges posed by the hermaphroditic traits, the plant continues to grow steadily, now standing at approximately 15 cm tall.
Its resilience and determination are evident, reminding me of the inherent strength within every living organism.
Watering remains consistent, with 0.5 liters of water provided every 2 days.
Ensuring proper hydration is crucial to supporting the plant's ongoing growth and development, even amidst the challenges it faces.
As I navigate this unexpected turn of events, I am reminded of the importance of adaptability and resilience in the world of gardening.
Each challenge presents an opportunity for learning and growth, and I remain committed to providing the best possible care for my Mimosa x Orange Punch auto plant, whatever the circumstances may be.
Until next time.
it can happen some phenotypes threw a few ball at first bottom of the canopy moslty then produce massively calyx with pistils afterward.
just keep a watchfull eyes in the next few weeks and remove any males flowers you see and you should be fine.
just touching them with a finger will make them fall from the plant easily.
Ah I love this strain. Just harvested my 3rd auto of this a few weeks ago. I didn't pay much attention to her so didn't get huge buds. But amazing taste & strenght. It's more of a terpine weed rather than a THC one Imo.. when something tastes & smells so wonderful. I really didn't mind if there wasn't a very strong high but there was. Really frosty. Lil large but still unreal taste. I'm defo gonna add a row of these (fem version) in my SOG for Xmas.
Good luck with your grow really nice diary and details. Plant looks really healthy & happy.
Good luck with your 2nd half. She is quick to grow also in flowering. 6-7 weeks.
