10/05/2018 Planted 1 seed in a Jiffy pot filled with depleted potting mix. Watered well and placed in my cloning chamber under a floor lamp fitted with warm white LED lamps.
10/11/2018 She broke the surface a few days ago. Now she is big enough to start counting days and permanently remove from the chamber. Otherwise I have been keeping the soil moist and not much else. I will be repotting her soon.
11/10/2018 Fed her 1 teaspoon Grow Big in 2 liters of water.
11/11/2018 Had a cold snap last night and she doesn't look good.
11/12/2018 Well, she looks like a goner at this point but I won't trash her just yet.
11/24/2018 Fed her with 1 teaspoon Grow Big in 2 liters of water. She is stunted by the cold. Normally most autos would have had a growth spurt by now.
12/05/2018 It rained most of the day. I'm afraid she will be too wet to feed this week.
12/06/2018 Even more rain today. I am considering bringing her inside as the cold nights seem to be slowing her growth.
12/08/2018 Moved her inside and put her under a few LED floods.
12/12/2018 She's growing again even if she's still a mini plant. She's still too wet from the rain to feed.
12/15/2018 Fed her with 1/2 teaspoon Grow Big in 1 liter of water. She started to flower a couple of days after bringing her inside. Her growth rate is back to normal, too.
01/19/2019 Fed her with 1 teaspoon Big Bloom and 1/2 teaspoon Tiger Bloom in 1 liter of water. She seems to have finished her stretch.
01/22/2019 Gave her about 2 liters of water. Increase in watering is due to her size and the reduced humidity. She is growing 1 and 2 fingered hands now.
01/24/2019 Did some defoliating to get more light to her center.
01/26/2019 Fed her 1/2 teaspoon Tiger Bloom in 2 liters of water. The buds are frosting up nicely. About 30% of the pistils have gone brown. There is a fair amount of popcorn buds but some really nice
clumps of flowers to be found.
02/05/2019 Gave her 2 liters of water. Trichomes are still mostly clear at this point but she is frosting up nicely.
02/06/2019 Lost the electricity (for about a week) so she isn't getting much light right now.
02/07/2019 Moved her close to the window so she could get whatever sunlight filters through.
02/13/2019 Finally got the electricity back. Moved her back under the lights.
02/14/2019 Haven't given her any water all week. The humidity was rather high with all the rain lately. Also just beginning to see an amber trich here and there. Still very sparsely distributed, though.
02/19/2019 Finally let her have some water. Gave her 2 liters of water. Trichs are still mostly clear.
02/21/2019 Some lower leaves are beginning to die off. It may be another 2 or 3 weeks before she is ready to harvest.
02/24/2019 Gave her 2 liters of water.
02/27/2019 Fed her 1/2 teaspoon Big Bloom and 1/2 teaspoon Tiger Bloom in 1 liter of water. This flower phase is taking longer than expected so I started feeding again. Picked off some dying leaves. Some leaf stems and veins have turned purple.
03/07/2019 Didn't do much of anything this week aside from picking off a few dead leaves. Trichs are still mostly clear. Wish I could put her outside again but the night temperatures are still not predictable.
03/14/2019 Fed her with 1 tablespoon of Big Bloom and 1 teaspoon of Tiger Bloom in 2 liters of water. The trichs don't even look close to being ready to harvest yet. It's possible that she is just too old for the trichs to ripen.
Given the fact that most of the trichomes were still clear this turned out better than I expected. It's about like the common weed we had back in the Seventies. More on the contemplative side than the euphoric experience (unless you smoke a blunt worth.) This weed pairs well with beer (three beers and a bowl of this stuff makes me happy as fuck.)
The strain was not difficult to grow. The growing conditions presented the greatest challenge. Considering all that this plant has been through it is a wonder that it even survived. Unfortunately the main cola and a couple of others were so big and the weather was so humid that they got moldy inside and had to be discarded. Those amounted to about half the bud on the plant. The rest was still okay. I didn't even bother to weigh it since it would not truly represent what this would have produced under better conditions.
The buds have filled out nicely and I'm beginning to see a few amber trichomes. This may turn out decent despite the less than ideal conditions. Also started a Bubblegum Auto which just popped.
