Day 14 from seed. One is a little bigger than the other, it happens. Keeping nutes and lighting the same, less water on the smaller one. Gradually Increased light intensity from 250 a week ago to 460 ppfd with light on today. Starting small CO2 set-up tomorrow. Adding silica at some point this week.
21 days in the pots, not the most ideal 1st auto run with the height - but both girls are healthy. No burnt tips or curling so taking it as a big win. Started 525ppm today, increasing to 550ppm through the week. LST on the tall one in a few days, just letting the lil one grow how she wants until I defoliate. 36 DLI, reduced from 38. Started using that along with PAR measurement, at 560ppfd currently. See if the little one will stretch a bit
28 days from seed. Minor defoliation and LST on the larger, removed the 2 bigger fans on the short one. Increased to 38 DLI and nutrients are are around 550ppm. Gonna ride out the next week without doing anything besides minor LST adjustments.
35 days from seed. Germinated both Royal Runtz Autos at the same time. More than likely over watered both for an extended period. Let both pots dry out a bit and growth has picked back up - especially in the smaller one. Keeping PPM around 600. Around 650 ppfd/42 DLI. Steadily keeping CO2 level just over 600.
43 days from seed and the first sign of flowering! Will do my last big defoliation before in the next day or so, probably lollipop while I'm at it. Starting transition week and see how the girls respond.
Looks like we're starting to get some stretching in! Figured it wasn't too far behind with last week's preflowers showing. Been feeding the big one at 1/2 the recommended dosage, the little one is showing some nute burn in the tips so need to back off a bit. Interested to see how this week plays out.
The Royal Runtz Autos are stretching and well into flower now. Pretty much going to let her do her thing until the end of the week, so a decent defoliation and see how they look. But 28" is too tall for my 4'x2' so I've moved them to one of the 3'x3's.
Aside from the height, training make a huge difference. Tons of large cola sites on the big one versus 1 large cola on the smaller one
10 weeks in! And around week 4 of flowering.?Girls were a little stunted at first, ended up not training the runty one in the hopes she would catch up. Well. She did. And is 2" taller. Interesting to see how the plant grows without interference, never left them alone before. Should see some weight stacking on this week.
77 days from seed and not quite there yet. The tent smells amazing - lemon citrus-y - and the pink pistils of the one phenotype have stuck around the past few weeks. The other Runtz isn't showing the same variety of color but shes also 10ish days behind. Nearing the end of this one. Not a fan of "flushing" prefer weaning down the ppm. Started this week with almost no grow nutes
Approximately 6 weeks into flower. Started weaning off nutes this week, will continue until harvest. Should have stopped grow nutes last week, things have started ripening and swelling so I figure we're about 2 weeks out? Will check trichs later this week.
2 different phenotypes, they both have the same smell but one has purple hues. This was the one that popped first and has been growing strong since Day 1.
