The girl seems to be recovering from the deficiency possibly caused by excessive topping stress, as you can see the plant in the weeks immediately following the topping suffered stress and didn't bounce back as quickly as her sisters, but it can happen. Now it seems like everything is normalizing, I think the root system has developed well because I see new intense fresh green leaves on the tops, without any spots or discoloration, so I believe I'm in the right and necessary condition to start flowering. The plants must have already recovered from any previous stress we applied during the vegetative stage, I mean "reestablished" in the sense that you can notice the new natural growth vigor prior to the stress we applied, which has reestablished and returned, more or less, to a more natural growth balance. If we send them into flowering already stressed, we would have a high probability of getting few and small flowers, and also the chance that they become hermaphrodites.. So far, it has only happened to me once in my short growing experience! However, on the day I tried to remove them, 3 out of 4 tops broke... Unfortunately, this plant has been very mistreated; it never started to grow well and has always had root problems that weren't feeding properly, probably also due to limited root development. Compared to its sisters, which have a wet-dry cycle of about 2 or 3 days, I water this one once a week and it doesn't need more because the pot always has moist soil. I'm sorry because it's really a resilient plant; it underwent a topping of 3 main colas during the first week of flowering, and there are still no signs of severe stress that would cause the plant to become hermaphrodite, for example. It will simply remain smaller than the others since it has suffered various mistreatments during the vegetative growth. Let's say it has been a bit of an experiment with LST techniques using clips that were too small for how the main cola stems had already developed. They barely fit, but I wanted to push it and see if I could reduce the height. When I realized that the LST clip was too tight for the branch, it was too late to fix it, and being the ignorant person I am, 3 out of the 4 main colas broke when I removed them.
