Today is Day 1
Decided to move over to photo's for a change, so popping this alongside 2x Barney's Pineapple Express. It'll be a newish experience for me as I've always run autos. I say "ish" because I did have a supposed auto from a well known reputable breeder some years ago, that turned out to be a photo, but that's a story for another day.
Popped the bean into a coco filled solo pot and will be transferring to a 10l pot when veg is established. Popped on Wednesday, sprouted yesterday evening. Impressive. Had to gently remove his helmet which hadn't fallen off.
And we're off!
Prepared coco by giving a light soak and allowing it to dry for an hour under the lights before popping the bean and covering it with a foodbag sprayed with water for humidity. I've done this as I have 2 autos in their last couple of weeks of flower and they require way lower humidity.
Until she establishes herself I'll be feeding her filtered water, about 2ml when required and replenishing the food bag with water every 3-4 hours.

As mentioned last week, this is my first proper venture into photos as I've always done auto's in the past.
Another new for me is a 100% sativa strain. Really looking forward to that 😋
Today is Day 8
First impression: Cracking start. 2 day germination. Exceptional. Looks nice and healthy.
Seedling is in a solo pot to start with. I've done this for a couple of reasons, as I'm normally old skool and plant bean straight into the final substrate.
Firstly, I still have 2 auto plants in the tent that are in the late stages of flower where humidity is 40%. Until they are done and removed from the tent I'm using a food bag sprayed with water over the seedling for humidity. This is providing a greenhouse effect with humidity around 85%. Second reason is space within the tent. As well as the 2 flowering plants in 6l and 71 pots, I popped two Pineapple Express beans at the same time as the Special Queen #1. Once the to autos are done in a week or two, I will be transplanting the seedlings into their final 10l pots.
Throughout the day I'm checking if the food bag needs respraying and whether the solo pot substrate is drying out. When almost dry I've now introduced Canna Start, Canna Rhizotonic and Calmag to the 5.8 PH'd water.

Today is Day 16
I still have an auto plant in the tent that is in the late stages of flower where humidity is 40%. Until it is done and removed from the tent I'm using a food bag sprayed with water over the seedling for humidity. This is providing a greenhouse effect with humidity around 85%.
The remaining auto is almost done, hopefully only a few days away and this lil gal can have a larger living space instead of her plastic prison.
Once healthy and established I will be transplanting the seedling into it's final 10l pot.
Throughout the day I'm checking if the food bag needs respraying and whether the solo pot substrate is drying out. Currently feeding 10ml 5.8 PH'd water containing Canna Start, Canna Rhizotonic and Calmag when required.
Noticed yellowing leaves a few days ago and reckon it was catching too much residual light from the light over my flowering auto. Rearranged grow room and she's looking greener again. Looks like I got to her in time.

Today is Day 23
The final flowering plant has now gone from the tent and the solo pots can have the room to themselves without their makeshift cloches.
Steady growth over the week. A little in height and mainly the leaves as they start to fan out. The yellowing due to a light issue was rectified last week the leaves have now almost fully recovered. Seems to handle stress really well. At the start of this week I've started on the veg nutes.
Once healthy and established I will be transplanting the seedling into it's final 10l pot.

As mentioned previously, this is my first proper foray into the world of photos as I've always done auto's in the past.
Today is Day31
Due to an imminent birth in the family and expected extended periods away from the girls I decided to transplant to her final 10l pot. This was to help negate running dry in solo cup.
24 hours from transplant and she has doubled in size. 2 days of slightly paler leaves that I put down to stress but today, 4 days from transplant she has returned to normal. This strain seems very resilient to stress. I am hoping for great things!
Feed is 200ml daily about an inch or so from the stem to encourage the roots to search and stretch to find what they need.

Looking healthy so decided to give her her first topping on day 38. Doesn't seem to have stressed this tough lady whatsoever. Happy days! Will leave well alone for a couple of weeks to recover.

Today is Day 78.
Another week done. I'm happy so far.
The girl is still getting 2l every 2 days. A bit for LST today. All going well!
The autoflower plant has finished and removed from tent, so I've increased humidity to 65%. I found that 50% kept the flowering auto and the 3 vegging photos all happy.
I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't flipped yet despite her clearly wanting to show me what she has to offer. I have 3 photos in my 80x80 tent. This Special Queen and 2x Pineapple Express. The Pineapples are part of our Dutch Farmer discord () grow-off comp and we will all be flipping at the same time, hopefully very soon. I wanna see what this girl wants to show me!
When I do flip I think I'm gonna use my new scrog net as whilst healthy, the branches on this girl are not the thickest and want give her a little support.

Today is Day 83.
Another week done. I say week, it's 5 days since my last report. Got life stuff to do next few days.
The girl is still getting 2l every 2 days. The girl really doesn't like waiting. She continues to tease with her pre-flower display.
Temps have risen over the past week with the tent hitting 29C at times.
For anyone missing the last report, I have 3 photos in my 80x80 tent. This Special Queen and 2x Pineapple Express. The Pineapples are part of our Dutch Farmer discord group grow-off comp and we will all be flipping to 12/12 at the same time, hopefully very soon. Hopefully by next report.

Today is Day 92. Day 6 of flower.
Yep you read right I've flipped her into flower.
More news.... I took advantage of the 420 sales to invest in a new light as this is the first time my tent will be truly filled. The ViparSpectra P1000 whilst fine for the veg stage, just wasn't going to cut it for the tent area. My new light is the SCH265 V5 EVO from Invisible Sun Led. This will ensure full flower coverage. Looking forward to seeing the results of this latest tech with new driver and increased red spectrum.
The girl is still getting 2l every 2 days. She is waiting for no-one. Her pre-flower display moves into full full flower with her colas already super sticky with resin.
Temps have lowered to more manageable levels again.

Today is Day 98. Day 12 of flower.
I finally found something that does stress this girl.......my new light. She has a little light burn on her leaves. I have dimmed the light brightness to 40% from 60%. Hopefully not too much damage and she recovers a little soon. My other 2 plants in the tent have had no issues whatsoever with the new lights.
She is turning into a pretty sexy lady! As you can see from the pics the resin coated colas are beautiful even at this early stage of flowering. RQS say 55-63 days of flower. With the speed this girl grows, I wonder if she'll be done before that. We shall see.
Shel is still getting 2l every 2 days. The day in-between she now gets 1l.

Today is Day 105. Day 19 of flower.
Seems to have recovered from issues with the new light. I've bumped it up to 50% over the last 4 days with no reaction.
As mentioned last week, RQS say 55-63 days of flower. As you see from the pics, she is well frosty. Pics from digicam show the leaves are littered with amber trichomes. Trichomes on the buds still cloudy and a ways off yet. I'll be keeping a close eye on her here on in.
Shel is getting 1l every day.

Today is Day 113. Day 27 of flower.
I started flush the day following my last log. Today, ambers in abundance so harvested.
This plant didn't follow conventional grow expectations. Once started it just kept powering on regardless. This is day 27 since I flipped the lights which is nowhere near the estimated 55-63days of flower. I assume this is because it was a good 3-4 weeks of pre-flower before flipping. All is good though, This Special Queen looks as she should....majestic. In many respects it is helpful she is done early as my 2 remaining plants are enjoying the extra space.
This draws a close to this grow. I'm happy. I've learned a lot. Photos can be more fragile than autos especially when using HST training. With my other 2 plants in the tent the canopy covered the entire grow area which whilst maximizd the lights, vegging for so long made it difficult mainlining all 3 plants and keeping them at the same height. Hereon in, depending upon strain, I'll probably limit the area to 2 plants.
I'll update the dry weight in a couple of weeks.
