GanjaGecko She is alive!!!! So far, I haven't done much except give the AppleBlossom a home. It was placed in a seedling pot. A plastic dome was on it for 3 days to keep the humidity around 90%. On the day it first showed itself, the dome was removed. The AppleBlossom is in a mix of BioBizz Lightmix with about 20% coco and some worm humus. Both the coco and the soil have a perlite content of about 30%. The coco dries a bit faster, which helps provide oxygen in the soil and promotes healthy root growth, similar to perlite. A little Dynomyco mycorrhiza was added to the substrate in the seedling pot and mixed in. Here's to hoping the AppleBlossom has a great time💚 Thanks for stopping by 💚🤙🏻

GanjaGecko On day 2, the seedling pot was filled with the mixed substrate to keep the AppleBlossom a bit more stable. Otherwise, the soil was only lightly moistened. It's all done by feel. The pot shouldn't be too heavy. The pots are lifted repeatedly until the weight feels about right. On day 5, the soil was lightly moistened and lightly "watered" with MasterRoot. The AppleBlossom received about 20ml with a pH value of 6.5. By day 7, the AppleBlossom is 6.5cm tall. The light distance is at 35cm. One SanlightQ1Wdim is set to 10W and the other to 20W. They are hanging slightly angled so that the light crosses. This way, the AppleBlossom gets 30W and around 350ppfd. Thank you for stopping by 🤙🏻💚

GanjaGecko Hey everyone💚 The week was still very relaxed. The leaves look a bit worn out. I assume it was due to the pH level in the soil. Unfortunately, it was at 5.7. So not quite optimal. On day 9, I gave 20ml of water with RootMaster from XpertNutrients at pH 7 to bring the soil pH towards 6.5. At this stage, I'm not too worried. It's still growing normally and getting bigger. The last two AppleBlossoms also started a bit slower, but from week 3/4, there's no stopping them. On day 11, the AppleBlossom was repotted into a 9L fabric pot. It was filled with 8L of mixed substrate, and around the roots, I added some mycorrhiza as a little support for the young lady. The last liter of substrate will come with the time change to 12/12, along with some extra worm humus. At first, it doesn't need the whole pot full of soil. Once it has grown a bit, you can give it some extra stability by filling the pot. After it settled into its new home, it was carefully watered with 500ml. First, I moistened the surface with a spray bottle, and after about 20 minutes, I gave the first 150ml, then another 150ml after about 30 minutes, and the last 200ml after another half hour. I watered with a ratio of 1 liter with 2ml/L MasterRoot, 1ml/L MasterGrowA, and 1ml/L MasterGrowB. I must admit that I forgot to measure the pH here. However, it turned out not to be too bad when I watered again on day 14, as the nutrient solution had a pH of about 6.7 after mixing. Since the soil was a bit too acidic, it wasn't a problem :). That day, I aerated the soil a bit after watering so it wouldn't stay wet for too long. I used a thin long wire to poke about 2-3cm from the edge of the pot into the depth to create a slightly airier soil for the young lady. I wouldn't do that later, as it can damage the roots. But that's not an issue shortly after repotting at this stage. For repotting, the light was adjusted again. The distance is 25cm and dimmed to 20%=10W, so the AppleBlossom is illuminated with a total of 20W and gets around 320ppfd. On day 14, the AppleBlossom received 400ml with pH 6.7. This included 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, and 1ml/L CalMagAmino from XpertNutrients. Here, the young lady was provided with her cocktail piece by piece. The soil is aerated again so that the roots can settle in comfortably over the next few days. Thank you for stopping by, dear Growmies💚

GanjaGecko In week 3, the AppleBlossom is gradually settling into her new pot and starting to grow in size. This pheno, for a change, isn't stretching too much. On day 17, I gave her 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino from XpertNutrients, and a bit of pH down to achieve a pH of 6.7. The lady received 400ml in total: 2 times 100ml and finally 200ml. On day 20, I only gave about 150ml of water with a pH of 6.6. The pot was not as light as I had hoped when lifting it. So, I just used a spray bottle to give a little water until the pot felt like it had a good weight. Unfortunately, there are no photos from the end of the week. It was quite a week. In week 4, there will also be photos of the AppleBlossom's development by the end of the week. Thank you for stopping by, dear Growmies💚

GanjaGecko Another very relaxed week. The AppleBlossom is growing excellently. This pheno is a bit more compact in growth, which makes me very happy. At the end of week 4, the little lady is 14.5cm tall and received her first topping on day 27. The two lower pairs of fan leaves were removed, which should give the side shoots a bit of a boost after these two interventions. One of the two SanlightQ1Wdim was turned up to 40% (20W) and the other remains at 20% (10W). The two lamps are 32cm apart and now provide the AppleBlossom with around 420ppfd. Until the switch to 12/12, there will be a maximum of 500 ppfd. Fertilizing: On day 22, there was 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino from XpertNutrients. This was adjusted with some pH- to a pH value of 6.5. 150ml was poured into the saucer so that the substrate could soak up moisture from the bottom and be equally moistened from above and below. The soil was moistened on the surface as always, and this was done 3 times with an interval of about 20-30 minutes each with 100ml of the nutrient solution. On day 24, there was again 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino from XpertNutrients. This was adjusted with some pH- to a pH value of 6.5. 350ml was given to the little lady, and again it was poured little by little so that nothing runs through. On day 27, there was 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino from XpertNutrients. This was adjusted with some pH- to a pH value of 6.3. Again, 150ml was poured into the saucer, and from above, there were again 3× 100ml with an interval of about 30 minutes each. The AppleBlossom tolerates the nutrients from XpertNutrients incredibly well! She keeps growing and growing and growing💚 Thank you for stopping by, dear Growmies💚

GanjaGecko And another week has gone by. Slowly but surely, the AppleBlossom has recovered well from the topping, and the main stem and side branches are growing to the same height. If it continues to grow evenly, that would be optimal. The two main branches that resulted from the topping are also slowly growing back. If the side branches grow a bit faster than the two main branches, I will tie down the side branches a bit. The side branches could also be topped again; they would just need some time to recover. Since the time will likely be set to 12/12 in the BlueberryMuffin grow in the next two weeks, I’m opting for LST and no further topping so it can grow freely. The goal is to send the AppleBlossom into flowering together with the BlueberryMuffins. On the days, some large leaves were removed. LST is not yet necessary with the optimal growth so far. This will likely come into play as we approach flowering, to distribute the branches of the AppleBlossom as evenly as possible so that the tent is well filled. Fertilizing: On Day 29, the AppleBlossom received 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and some pH- to achieve a pH of 6.3. The AppleBlossom got about 500ml, with 300ml from the top and 200ml in the saucer so that the substrate is evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from both the top and bottom. When watering the 300ml, it wasn’t all poured at once, but rather 3×100ml with about 30 minutes in between so that the nutrient solution doesn’t just run through. On Day 31, there was also 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and some pH-, again with 3×100ml at a pH of 6.6. On Day 34, there was 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and some pH- for a pH of 6.6. The AppleBlossom received a total of 650ml. Of that, 200ml in the saucer and then 2×150ml, 1×200ml, and another 150ml with about 20-30 minutes in between. I’m looking forward to another week 🍀 Thank you for stopping by, dear Growmies 💚

GanjaGecko Week 6 of the AppleBlossom has gone very pleasantly. A few large leaves were removed over the week, and by the end of the week, it was slowly being prepared for flowering. At the end of the week, I wanted to send the AppleBlossom into flowering with the other tent, but my phone was in for repairs, and I couldn't send the big tent into flowering. The goal is to send both tents into flowering at the same time since they have roughly the same flowering time. Since there are still a few days until flowering, the AppleBlossom branches were evenly tied down to create a more uniform surface. In terms of growth, it is very compact and grows very evenly. Its two predecessors, in contrast, stretched a lot and had to be tied down heavily. The current AppleBlossom, on the other hand, is very stress-free. The light change to 12/12 will take place in week 7, which is almost over already ;) Fertilizing: On day 36, the AppleBlossom received 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and some pH- to achieve a pH value of 6.3. The AppleBlossom got around 500ml, with two applications of 150ml from above and 200ml in the saucer so that the substrate is evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from both the top and bottom. On day 38, there was again 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and some pH-, with 200ml in the saucer and 3×200ml with a pH value of 6.6. On day 41, there was 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and some pH- for a pH value of 6.6. The AppleBlossom received a total of 800ml. Of that, 200ml in the saucer and then 3×200ml with a gap of about 20-30 minutes. On day 41, I also added nematodes to the water to prevent fungus gnats. I haven't noticed any yet. Let's hope it stays that way :) Thank you for checking in, dear Growmies💚

GanjaGecko Week 7 of the AppleBlossom has gone very pleasantly. She's gradually filling out the tent. She's grown beautifully bushy and evenly. On day 45, the pot was filled with about 1L of substrate, and for the first time, the flowering nutrients were added so that the substrate could be enriched with nutrients for the flowering period. A day later, there were only 14 hours of light and 10 hours of darkness, and on day 47, the light was set to 12/12, thus initiating the flowering. Now it shouldn't take too long until the first signs appear. The AppleBlossom is now getting 50W. One SanlightQ1Wdim is running at 30W and the other at 20W, both at a distance of 30cm from the plant. Fertilizing: On day 43, there were 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterGrowA, 2ml/L MasterGrowB, and 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and a bit of pH- to reach pH 6.5. 200ml went into the saucer and 3×200ml were given from above with an interval of about 20-30 minutes. On day 45, the AppleBlossom received from XpertNutrients 1ml/L SilicaForce, 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L Enzymes, and 2ml/L CalMagAmino, along with a bit of pH- to achieve a pH value of 6.7. The AppleBlossom got 800ml, with 3×250ml from above and 200ml in the saucer so that the substrate could be evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from both the top and bottom. On day 47, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L Enzymes, and 2ml/L CalMagAmino, along with a bit of pH- to achieve a pH value of 6.7. The AppleBlossom received a total of 900ml. Of that, 200ml went into the saucer, and then 2×200ml and 1×300ml were given again with an interval of about 20-30 minutes. GanjaGecko Week 8: The AppleBlossom is getting bushier and is gradually stretching. On day 56, it shows its first sexual characteristics and thus initiates the flowering stage. This means the AppleBlossom has entered flowering 9 days after the switch to 12/12. The AppleBlossom will continue to receive 50W for now. One SanlightQ1Wdim is running at 30W and the other at 20W, both at a distance of 30cm from the plant. In about two weeks, the other SanlightQ1Wdim will also be dimmed to 30W. This way, the AppleBlossom will get 60W for the last approximately 4 weeks, which is more than sufficient for the tent size. At that time, the final major defoliation will also take place, and the good plant will also get its lollipopping. Fertilizing: On day 50, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, along with some pH- to reach a pH of 6.7. There were 200ml in the saucer and 1×200ml and 2×250ml from above with an interval of about 20-30 minutes. On day 52, the AppleBlossom received from XpertNutrients 1ml/L SilicaForce, 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, along with some pH- to achieve a pH value of 6.7. GanjaGecko Week 3 of flowering is over. The stretching has now been kept in check, and slowly the energy is going into the buds, which are coming through in a soft purple tone. Throughout the week, a few leaves were removed here and there that were covering the other buds. The AppleBlossom is slowly developing beautiful buds, and the sugar leaves are also increasing. Fertilizing: On Day 71/15F, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 1ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus some pH- to reach pH 6.8. A total of 900ml was given, with 200ml in the saucer and 1×200ml and 2×250ml spaced about 20-30 minutes apart from above. On Day 73/17F, the AppleBlossom from XpertNutrients received 1ml/L SilicaForce, 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 1ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus some pH- to achieve a pH value of 6.8. The AppleBlossom received 900ml, consisting of 1×200ml and 2×250ml from above and 200ml in the saucer to ensure the substrate is evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from both above and below. On Day 76/20F, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 2ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 1ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, 2ml/L Enzymes, and some pH+ to reach a pH value of 6.8. The AppleBlossom received a total of 900ml, with 200ml in the saucer and then 1×200ml and 2×250ml again spaced about 20-30 minutes apart. Thank you for checking in, dear Growmies💚

GanjaGecko Week 4 of flowering is over. The buds are slowly getting a nice purple color and are getting bigger. I think it will take about 3 more weeks until they can be harvested. The AppleBlossom is growing wonderfully bushy and evenly. There’s also a yellow sticky trap for fungus gnats in the tent. However, it doesn’t seem to be a problem with the AppleBlossom. Just to be safe, I added nematodes to the watering. Fertilizing: On Day 78/22F, I gave 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, along with some pH+ to reach pH 6.9. I used a total of 900ml, with 200ml in the saucer and 1×200ml and 2×250ml spaced about 20-30 minutes apart from above. On Day 80/24F, I gave the AppleBlossom from XpertNutrients 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, along with some pH- to achieve a pH of 6.8. The AppleBlossom received 900ml, with 1×200ml and 2×250ml from above and 200ml in the saucer to ensure the substrate is evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from both top and bottom. On Day 83/27F, I gave 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 2ml/L MasterBloomA, 2ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, 2ml/L Enzymes, and some pH+ to achieve a pH of 6.8. The AppleBlossom received a total of 900ml, with 200ml in the saucer and then 1×200ml and 2×250ml again spaced about 20-30 minutes apart. Thank you for stopping by, dear Growmies💚

GanjaGecko Week 5 is over and the AppleBlossom is getting prettier. The buds are all maturing very evenly. I'm hoping for about 14 days until they get hung upside down. 🍀 The fertilizer from XpertNutrients is being well accepted by the AppleBlossom. No signs of deficiency, no signs of over-fertilization. Perfect! Fertilizing: On Day 85/29F, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus some pH+ to reach pH 6.9. A total of 900ml was given, with 200ml in the saucer and 1×200ml and 2×250ml from above with a gap of about 20-30 minutes. On Day 87/31F, the AppleBlossom from XpertNutrients received 1ml/L SilicaForce, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus some pH+ to achieve a pH value of 7. The AppleBlossom got 1L, with 1×200ml and 2×300ml from above and 200ml in the saucer so that the substrate is evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from above and below. On Day 90/34F, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, 2ml/L Enzymes, and some pH+ to achieve a pH value of 7. The AppleBlossom received a total of 1L. Of that, 200ml in the saucer and then 1×200ml and 2×300ml again with a gap of about 20-30 minutes. Thank you for stopping by! 💚

GanjaGecko Flowering week 6 is over, and the way the AppleBlossom looks, it will probably be ready in 7-10 days. The color of the buds is incredibly beautiful and full of trichomes. When the plant starts to turn autumnal, I stop the nutrients and only water it. I hope it doesn't take longer than 10 days for the AppleBlossom to finish :) I'm really getting the itch with the sweet scent that the lady is giving off :) The only negative this week was that the weather didn't cooperate completely, and it was a bit too warm and humid, with daytime temperatures around 26°C and humidity at 55-60%. There's nothing you can do about that. But it doesn't take away from the joy :) Nutrients: On Day 92/36F, I gave 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus a bit of pH+ to reach pH 7. I used a total of 1L, with 200ml in the saucer and 1×200ml and 2×300ml spaced about 20-30 minutes apart from above. On Day 94/38F, I gave the AppleBlossom from XpertNutrients 1ml/L SilicaForce, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus a bit of pH+ to achieve a pH of 7. The AppleBlossom received 1L, with 1×200ml and 2×300ml from above and 200ml in the saucer to ensure the substrate is evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from both top and bottom. On Day 97/41F, I gave 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, 2ml/L Enzymes, and a bit of pH+ to achieve a pH of 7. The AppleBlossom received a total of 1L. This included 200ml in the saucer and then 1×200ml and 2×300ml again spaced about 20-30 minutes apart. Thank you for stopping by💚

GanjaGecko Flowering week 7 unfortunately comes 2 days late. The AppleBlossom has also made it through the last week and it looks like it won't need more than 7 days. It's a spontaneous decision when the AppleBlossom will be cut down. The space created here will then be used for the next 4 BlueberryMuffins and 1 CottonCandyKush for the first 2 weeks. When it goes into the final pots, the BlueberryMuffins will go back into the big tent and the CandyKush can make itself comfortable alone in the 40×40 tent. Fertilizing: On Day 99/41F, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 2ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus some pH+ to reach pH 7. A total of 1L was given, 200ml in the saucer and 1×200ml and 2×300ml with a gap of about 20-30min from above. On Day 101/45F, the AppleBlossom from XpertNutrients received 1ml/L SilicaForce, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 1ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, and 2ml/L Enzymes, plus some pH+ to achieve a pH value of 6.9. The AppleBlossom got 1L, with 1×200ml and 2×300ml from above and 200ml in the saucer so that the substrate is evenly enriched with the nutrient solution from above and below. On Day 105/49F, there was 1ml/L SilicaForce, 1ml/L MasterRoot, 3ml/L MasterBloomA, 3ml/L MasterBloomB, 2ml/L Sugarshot, 2ml/L StickyFingers, 1ml/L BloomBooster, 2ml/L CalMagAmino, 2ml/L Enzymes, and some pH+ to achieve a pH value of 6.9. The AppleBlossom received a total of 1L. Of that, 200ml in the saucer and then 1×200ml and 2×300ml with again a gap of about 20-30min. Thank you for stopping by💚

GanjaGecko I haven't done anything for the last 3 days except let the AppleBlossom dry out in its pot. Unfortunately, I've had a lot on my plate. That's why I didn't take the wet weight in the hustle. But it's more about what remains afterwards :). The good one has been hanging for 4 days now, and I think it will be ready for harvest in about 3-4 days.

GanjaGecko After 56 days of vegetation and 52 days of flowering, the AppleBlossom went headfirst into drying. After 9 days, the buds got a nice curing and went into the jar with 62% Boveda packs.

When my babies reach the time, they'll get the same amount of nutrients administered. 🤓
GanjaGecko
GanjaGecko commented2y ago
@@Gruschel_Muschel, in the first week I only add the root fertilizer at most, because everything else is needed at the earliest from the second week. I prepared 100ml of water with 0.2ml of MasterRoot and watered each baby very carefully.

@@potcracker7, I think AppleBlossom has a lot to offer :) It gets you really high. More head than body. However, the head is in a state where it doesn't feel like using the corresponding body🤣

Really an impressive achievement to get such quality with the setup! Awesome! How do you get your humidity down so low?
GanjaGecko
GanjaGecko commented2y ago
@Philippovic, thank you very much. I believe the grow or rather the flowering was in winter or at least cold. I just ventilate briefly every two to three hours as long as I'm home and can influence it, and then turn the heating back on. When it gets close to 0° and below, it quickly drops to 40%, and then it only rises back slowly. And then at the latest when it hits 60%, I ventilate again. The stated value is an approximate average. Unfortunately, it's a bit difficult in summer. The best time for indoor growing starts now and goes until the beginning of summer 💪🏼
