3 weeks after sowing. Last week temp in the greenhouse (min. 8.8°C - max. 43°C). During the day the door and windows stay open. Under artificial light it's easier to regulate the temperature, but I don't like starting seeds indoors because usually the stalks tend to be rather weak. As you notice, I didn't use any support sticks. Height : smallest 5cm - tallest 10 cm Probably later this week I'll put the plant in bigger pots. Only water. No fertilizers. No root stimulator

4 weeks after sowing. A few days ago I repotted the plants to a 3liter pot (19x15cm) Plagron Allmix. We had an extreme hot week. So temperature in the greenhouse went to extreme (max. 59,7°C - min. 19.2°C). I leave the door and windows of the greenhouse open during the day. Height : smallest 15cm - tallest 30 cm No pests or diseases. Only water, no fertilizer, no root stimulator.

5 weeks after sowing. The plants have started to spread their scent 😊 For the second week in a row we had hot temperatures, Temperatures in the greenhouse : (max. 52,5°C - min. 11.8°C). Plants are still growing very good. They almost doubled in height each week (smallest : 27cm - biggest : 47 cm) Still only water. No pests or diseases. Maybe a small problem with one leaf (see last picture, the small white-grey irregular-shaped spots ). I removed the leaf. If you have any idea what kind of (probably) animal did this, please tell me :) pic. 1 : overview pic. 2 : smallest plant pic. 3 : tallest plant pic. 4 : the affected leaf 4 plants are indica phenotypes (pic.2). They are already making side branches. 9 plants are hybrid-style phenotypes (pic.3), with almost no side branches.

Again we had a nice week for growing in the greenhouse (Temp : max. 49.6 min. 12.2) (Humidity : max. 99% min. 36%). A lot of sun, few hours of rain. In the beginning of the week I repotted the plants to 14 liter pots. Tomorrow I'll start the floweringproces. (not in the greenhouse, but indoor with HPS). Tallest plant : 70 cm Smallest plant : 40 cm I numbered the plants (according to size) and took individual pictures and a close-up of each plant.

Alga Bloom - PLAGRON.

The plants now bloom for 1 week. I started the first two days in a 'secret jardin'- tent DS120 with a 600 Watt HPS from 7am to 7pm But after two days the sun was giving us very hot temperatures again! 5 days on a row ! So everyday I place the plants outside once temperatures are more than 25°C (mostly from 10 am to 7pm). I like this method : placing the plants outside when temperatures are nice. It's more economic on electricity (although I have solar panels). The plants enjoy the natural light and warmth of the sun. Due to the constant wind breeze outside, stems become firmer. Placing the plants close to a bed of mixed flowers, with natural predators, will keep them healthy. When the weather looks bad in the morning, I'll keep the plants inside. Greenhouse time is over. Plants would get problems with bugs. Tallest plant : 85 cm Plant#1 Smallest plant : 60 cm Plant#10 Nutrition : I start with a very low dose of nutrition 5ml / 10 liter water Plagron Alga Bloom. Daily gift : 0.5 - 1 l. / plant. Planning to aprox. double dose each week, and look how the plants react. Phenotypes (on appearance): Pheno 1 : half high, healthy, nice green colour, beautiful leaves, normal internodes Type 1a = #1,2,4,5,6 = medium height, side branches, healthy, nice green colour, beautiful leaves, Indica with some Sativa influences) Type 1aa = #3 (almost no side branches, therefore already a bit taller than #2, and probably will become even taller than #1) Type 1b = #7,10 = medium-small height, shorter internodes, rather a pine tree model, Indica with less Sativa influences) Pheno 2 : medium-small, very dark green leaves with a wavy surface, some leaves misdeveloped (three fingers), short internodes, short branches, packes to the stem Type 2 = #8 = medium high Type 2b = #11, 12 = very short I decided not to keep #11 and #12. They can not compete with the others : to short and will never give the same yield.

The plants have finished their second week of flowering. Most of the time we had fantastic weather, with temperatures between 20°C an 35°C. In the morning, between 7am and 9am, the plants wake up in the growtent with 600 watt HPS light. During the day the ladies enjoy the benefits of the natural light of the sun. We had 2 days of less sunny weather. On these days they also stayed inside the tent. I was suprised that the flowering came so sudden and rich. Saturday evening there were no signs of flowering. But monday morning when I returned after being 2 nights abroad, their flowers were already really developed . I have never seen such a fast flowering onset before. I was not happy, when I discovered that my favorite plant#10 was a hermaphrodite (see picture) I am also not so happy with plant #8. As you can see on the pictures, the leafs are strangely shaped and the flowering doesn't look good. She has the same problem as #11 and #12 which I removed earlier. I took 2 cuttings of each plant (for future use) and removed some lower side branches. The tallest plant #3 is 100cm high.

3 weeks flowering. This week I had a big problem. All plants have some male flowers. Does anyone has an idea how this come? I can only thing of one reason. Can someone confirm my suspicion? The day starts at 7am and ends at 7pm. But the third or fourth night of flowering, the lamp was still burning around 11pm. I think my automatic lightclock hadn't turn off the lights. Immediately I turned the light off. Since then I control the light everyday and this has not happened again, and therefore this happened only 1 time. Could this the reason be of the male flowers? I can easily remove the male flowers. And NO new male flowers have appeared since I removed them. Almost in every armpit, of the three to fourth oldest side branches of the plant, appeared 2 male flowers. Half of the time the plants were outside. They were inside in the early morning and when temperatures were lower than 25°C. Plants haven't grown much last week (the tallest (#3) : + 10cm = 110cm ; the smallest is 95cm). I think the plants show some shortage on fertilizer (lower leaves look a bit yellowish, some bladestems have some purpleish), I was planning to give some Plagron Green Sensation (high on P + K). Or does someone have a better idea? Sorry but it seems 'paragraph space' doesn't work....

4 weeks flowering. Last week we had some bad weather. Plants stayed inside most of the time (600watt HPS). The lower leafs are slowly turning yellow. I gradually tripled the dose of Plagron Alga Bloom fertilizer (3-2-5) from 10 ml / 10 liter up to 30 ml / 10 liter water. I also started adding Plagron Green Sensation (0-9-10) . 10ml/10 liter water. Plants have stopped growing. New flowers keep developing.

5 weeks of flowering. Same as last week, we had some bad weather this week. Plants stayed inside most (75%) of the time (600Watt HPS). More and more lower leafs are turnng yellow. Some have a few black spots. Some have turned brown. Some are even turning purple, allthough temperatures were never below 20°C. Nutrition is on maximum dose now. Buds are getting hard and dense. I removed the top layer of the substrate and replaced it with some fresh Plagron Allmix enriched with 20 gr Potash (0-0-20) / plant.

7 weeks flowering are finished now. Only 1 to 2 weeks to go 🙌 50% of daytime, the plants were inside under 600 watt HPS. Not many new flowers, but the buds keep getting really hard now. I removed some died (yellow/brown) leaves, From now on I'll stop adding nutrients to the water. I removed the top layer of the soil . Next time they need watering, I'll flush the soil with a lot of clean water. I prefer to do that on a hot, sunny day, so the pots won't stay to long, to avoid budrot. The soil (All mix) has a lot of perlite in it, so air can get through. No problems with spidermites or other insects.

Week 13. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

After 55 days, I harvested my Royal Cookies. The last 2 weeks plants show a true metamorphosis : beautiful purple colors, rockhard buds and a lot of resin on the flowers. SMELL : Incredible smell. Overwhelmingly strong. Very pungent. Red basil, cloves. Black Hash like Nepal, Pakistan. Smells like Kush but has a sweeter touch. Some plants have a tiny bit of dark-red, purply cherry / blue berry-smell. Although an Indica, it's really nice to smoke fresh, but I'm very curious how smell and taste will evolve during/after curing. EFFECT : Very strong. Incredibilly stoned effect, but also very high, allmost enlighted, transcendentall. Heavy ,but also happy and very creative effect. TASTE : Take your time to enjoy these Royal Cookies. Not for a quick smoke, but for a strong mind and body sensation . The first day of the past week I flushed the plants and I didn't gave them any more water since. Yesterday, unfortunately I noticed some budrot in plant#6, So I decided to harvest them all together today. By examination of the buds, I had to remove some affected parts. Fortunately, not much harm was done. For the second time I had a breed of nymphs from Hemiptera (or true bugs), on plant #1 (one of the last photos). A few days ago, I also had a small attack of spider mites on some leaves of plant # 4. A few adult specimens, and some eggs. Fortunately, I had seen it quickly and removed the affected leaves. Without further problems. My Top 7 : #1 The Queen, She is the tallest and my favourite. Superb development and shape. Heavenly smell. Strong, purgent but with some sweet subsmell of black berries and cherries. Beautiful purple colors. 44 grams #7 What a plant ! Although one of the smaller plants, she has become a great lady. A not-so-big but very beautiful cola. The smell is less pungent. In addition to the purple colors of the leaves, she has, like plant # 4 (but less pronounced), beautiful orange stamps. 45 grams #2 Approximately equal to plant # 1, only a little smaller in size. Also very potent, but with a softer smell. 48 grams #4 The smallest plant, and also a slightly different type of plant. The plant continued to make new flowers the longest, with beautiful orange stamps. She is very special with her nice diamond-shaped cola. 38 grams #5 Similar to plants 1 and 2, but smaller. 37 grams #6 Similar to plants 1 and 2, but smaller and a more fruity smell. 40 grams #3 Although the 2nd highest plant and her big yield, I place this plant in the last position because it lacks the beautiful purple colors, which all other plants have. 42 grams

3 out of 4 seeds are winners. Easy to grow . Select the fastest growing plants and get rid of the smaller ones with misformed leafs. Stress could result in some male flowers in the first weeks of bloom, Check daily. Remove these male flowers manually. Beware of budrot in the last week, perhaps it is better to top the plant so that it gets smaller buds.

Buds look nice 👍 Bud rot usually caused by too much humidity and not enough air flow 🌱

Usually the situation you described will not cause hermaphroditism by itself. It requires a combination of stress factors. If you got them all in time you should be ok though.

@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Thx, indeed thrips (googled it, and you're right). It was the weakest of all plants, and because it was nr.13 (will not fit well in my flowerroom), I removed the plant. From now on 12 plants to go 😉. I saw no poop on the plant. But I do saw some black spots on the peppers standing close to the plants. When I push on it, some black smurry came out, probably the poop you mentioned....💩
