Hix57 I'm diving into the topping experience with my new cannabis grow. Although it's generally not recommended for autoflowering varieties, I've noticed that many bloggers practice it. After getting poor results with the LST (Low Stress Training) technique, I figured I didn't have much to lose. So far, I haven't noticed any significant slowdown compared to LST. However, during my first watering with nutrients, I used an eighth of the recommended dose, which led to clawing on the leaves... Really puzzling, I'm still trying to understand this reaction... Topping on day 16, 5th nodes. Feeding: 1/8 of the dose and slight clawing on the leaves Thanks for reading me 🌱

Hix57 On day 27, the strawberry Gorilla is doing wonderfully. I'm convinced it has an indica phenotype, given its rather compact shape. It's hard not to notice the need to tie up the branches... I'm now looking forward to seeing the pre-flowering continue and the plant stretch persist, hoping for an increase in the number of bud sites. Nutrients: I continue to use a mix that includes seaweed, humic, and a half-recommended dosage booster, without adding any NPK.

Hix57 Day 35 and everything's going great! My plant is developing wonderfully, even though it decided to stop stretching quite early, which gives it a stout and compact appearance. I'm pretty satisfied with my monitoring, as I've managed to avoid past mistakes, like over-fertilizing. The soil is rich enough in organic nutrients to meet its needs. Can't wait to see how it evolves in the coming weeks. Day 35 Fertilizer: max but no NPK except phosphorus and potassium in small doses. Note: the plant hasn't stretched enough.

Hix57started grow question 2y ago
Je me demande si les tâches cuivrées sur les feuilles de ma plante de cannabis et d'autres plantes sont dues à une carence en calcium ou en phosphore/potassium. Les feuilles affectées sont généralement les grandes feuilles, souvent nourricières. Voir agenda. Je vous remercie 🙏🌱

Copper spots on cannabis leaves can indicate various issues, but they're not typically associated with calcium, phosphorus, or potassium deficiencies. Here's what you should consider: Likely Causes of Copper Spots: Copper spots on cannabis leaves are often a sign of fungal or bacterial infections, such as copper deficiency or a condition called copper toxicity. However, it's crucial to confirm the diagnosis by closely examining the affected leaves and considering other symptoms. Rule Out Nutrient Deficiencies: While calcium, phosphorus, and potassium deficiencies can cause various leaf symptoms, including discoloration and spots, they typically manifest differently from copper spots. Calcium deficiency often results in necrosis (death) at leaf tips or edges, while phosphorus and potassium deficiencies may cause dark spots or purple hues on leaves, but not necessarily copper-colored spots. Consider Other Factors: Evaluate environmental conditions such as humidity levels, temperature fluctuations, and airflow. High humidity combined with inadequate airflow can create conditions conducive to fungal or bacterial growth, leading to leaf spots. Inspect for Pests: Check for signs of pests like spider mites, thrips, or leafhoppers, which can damage leaves and cause spots. Pests may leave behind trails or feeding marks that resemble copper spots. Addressing the Issue: Once you've identified the likely cause of the copper spots, take appropriate action. If it's a fungal or bacterial infection, consider using fungicides or bactericides labeled for use on cannabis. Ensure proper ventilation, avoid overwatering, and maintain optimal environmental conditions to prevent further spread of the issue. By carefully examining your plants, ruling out potential causes, and taking appropriate corrective measures, you can address the copper spots on your cannabis leaves and promote healthy growth.

Hix57 Day 41 is going peacefully for my precious plants. I notice a slight yellowing of the leaves, probably due to the beginning of flowering, a possible nitrogen deficiency, or natural processes that I’m discovering over time. Additionally, spots are appearing on the leaves, perhaps due to a calcium deficiency, despite the high hardness of the water in my area. I’m also proceeding with caution by gradually increasing phosphorus and potassium, hoping not to repeat past mistakes related to excesses. Every day, I’m making progress and gaining experience. Thanks for reading and sharing this adventure with me. 🙏🌱 Note: Fertilizer: slight increase in phosphorus and potassium and a bit of nitrogen. Symptoms: spots on leaves like on the other crops. Might be calcium. Very small and stocky plant probably has indica dominance.

Hix57 Day 48 is unfolding gracefully, despite a slight hiccup: a calcium deficiency affecting one of our dear plants. Fortunately, with an adjusted dose of calcium, I hope to have rectified this imbalance, ensuring our lush companion regains its nutritional balance. This plant, although modest in size, stands out with its compact and sturdy structure. Its flowers are starting to adorn themselves with a rich layer of trichomes, sparkling with promises and potential. I will continue the meticulous nutrient supply, delicately dancing on the fine line between sufficiency and excess. The goal remains clear: to nourish without overloading, to avoid any risk of nutrient burn. Given the current state of our protégée, I anticipate it will reach its peak in 9 to 10 weeks. Note: calcium deficiency at weeks 5/6 corrected with the addition of CallMag. The plant shows a large number of trichomes and purplish leaves on the underside. Fertilizer: half the recommended dose of NPK to correct deficiencies, to check for burns.

Hix57 At the dawn of day 55, the plant is navigating through its cycles of growth, despite a slight battle against a calcium deficiency. This little challenge has largely been overcome thanks to the wise addition of CalMag. To this day, it is entering an intense maturation period. The buds are flourishing under a sparkling veil of trichomes. Hoping it finishes its cycle in 2 weeks 🙏 Thanks to Louloutre

Hix57 Day 63: Everything is going as planned. The buds are gaining density and continuing their maturation process. At this stage, the changes are subtle but essential. I opted for a feeding at 75% of the recommended dose, and I am now turning to the "Final Part" product from Terra Aquatica, hoping that it will help my plant reach the perfect stage of maturity in the next one to two weeks.

Hix57 The 70th day has passed quietly. I was hoping to harvest this week, but my project isn't ready yet. I feel like my plant is stagnating; it doesn't seem to be maturing as I hoped. So, I'm going to give it another week to see if the trichomes develop further. Note: these last two weeks, there hasn't been much progress. I've been using the Final part and Bloom nutrients at 100%.

Happy Harvest Day!

Hix57 Very good as always with great modularity. Below 75%, the lamp hardly heats up anymore. Convenient for small, somewhat confined environments.
