i honestly dont think this was because of the breeder or strain even though it was autoflower, this was purely me, id be more than glad to try this out again when im more experienced.

this went basically as bad as i couldve expected for a first harvest. i didnt flush, it obviously is very harsh, but actually not as bad as i expected. to yield a gram though, i mean i had some serious issues and inexperience. but i hope to try again with expert seeds down the line

Advanced Nutrients is a great lineup. I use their Sensi Grow..... The soil you are using already has nutrients in it.. Most growers will not use both because there is no way to control or know what the plant needs in different stages. If you plan to use the ADV Nutes you should use a medium such as Pro-Mix HP which is inert. Good luck :)

@FoxyLoxy, I'm not sure of what you are saying... I am under the assumption the Fox Farm soil you have is nutrient packed in the bag already...They may have a line of inert medium also that I am not aware of because I dont use or shop for it. One word of warning 99% of the growers using this forum, myself included, are not professional horticulturists and will often give misleading, but not intentional, incorrect information....Hell I even get incorrect information when I go to the hydroponics store and ask questions about nutrient lines or lighting ect...... Sorry if I confused you. I feel confused LOL

@Hellhazard, Thank you for your comment. I find it so weird, marijuana is definitely a resistant plant for sure, people have all sorts of different opinions of how the plant can or can't survive. I've read about the organic approach and I've read about nutrients. It's weird though about what you said about using advanced nutrients with an inert soil. The sample pack of nutrients they sent came with directions and it specifies to use advanced nutrients with fox farm soil. Just got a laugh out of that when I read your comment and then read the directions for the advanced nutes line.

@FoxyLoxy, You shouldn't need any nutrients added to a potting soil although some growers amend the soil with compost teas later in growth and flower. It is more of an Organic way to grow and there is plenty of reading on those subjects available. Also, your claims to "deficiency ridden problems" could easily be attributed to environment and not lack of nutrients in the soil/medium. Cannabis is hardy and will normally survive but the end results suffer greatly...... Until you are fixed on a medium, nutrient line and ability to properly control your climate (air movement/temp/RHumidity) you will always notice issues and people will comment their idea of what your issues are sending you in all directions.....mostly as a nutrient deficiency (when usually its a PH issue causing the plant to lock out nutrient uptakes). Unfortunately there is no way for anyone to read a diary and tell you exactly what your issues are 100%...but you will learn over the next year what they are and exactly how to fix them through trial and error and help from other growers....Just dont kill stuff :D:D:D

The flowering nodes on your plants look to be absolutely amazing. You've done such an amazing job with this grow so far and I'm so excited to see how these plants finish up as well as to hear how they smoke. Best wishes my friend :D

@SensiSmellYahLater, hey thanks so much! see when you come into growing as an experienced smoker you assume this process will be so easy. im glad i bit off more than i could chew because its been a great experience trying to catch up to these very fast growers. and thats the thing too, reading information online is often inconclusive to your specific needs, ive found by starting my first grow with a mix of indicas, sativas - autos and photos, its tailoring to the strains and then after that really learning the difference of phenotypes. ive not really found a great learning media to combat the issues of "is it nute burn?" or "am i deficient?" my ppms dont quite match up to what the stage of growth is yet im burning them almost. its nerve wracking and wonderful. thanks for the comments man, continue to watch me flail about because i need more experienced growers like yourself! happy holidays

@FoxyLoxy, The simple answer is autoflower genetics. The process for which autoflowers are bred can sometimes match up some traits that are extremely recessive that will occasionally show in a percentage of the offspring. Some autoflower plants turn into huge monsters that can be meters in height and others never get to be bigger than a foot. It's just a luck of the draw sometimes. Many people who grow autos tend to pop a variety of seeds (more than they need) and then select the best few to flower. As for the leaves I'd say those are perfectly natural sugar leaves. Normal on all flowering cannabis plants and truthfully if the genetics of this specific auto were of a different phenotype they would have vanished inside the buds long ago and you may never have even seen them. As for the harvesting you will want to wait until the trichomes begin to changed color from murky white to amber/orange.

@SensiSmellYahLater, it is quite beautiful. but why do you think it was so short? its but 4.5 inches i really dont see much weed coming from just that. do you agree then that those leaves like that are just a product of healthy growing? theyre kinda cupping up a bit. alot of those leaves are still very green if not toooo green. should i hold out some more on clipping it? ive got white hairs on it, orange hairs too. just dont want to jump the gun like i do all too often haha. thanks for the compliments!
