1st time I have moved to tap water to raise the ppm. Mixed ro and tap. Also added and started today with Kool Bloom powder I am hoping the nugs will get much fatter. Plant is getting stronger in smell I am thinking 2 weeks of feed 1 week flush to finalize it out. Let’s see how it goes.

Guys I have a question about ppm. So only my last grow I always used ro water. My ppm was only as high as 500-600. Now does this mean as the plant gets bigger I have use non-ro water later on in order to get it up?? As long as my ph is good and nutrients are not too high why not?

PPM is the measurement of impurity's in your water , So for example with R.O its very low in comparison to tap water the idea behind it is that the less junk that in your water the more nutrients a plant can uptake instead . So for example if your R.O is 600 PPM that means there's pretty much only what you put in the water ( in the way of nutrients ) But say for example its really high like 1000 not only is this going to cause problems for you plants because theres too much stuff in the water but as a result the plant will have a hard time absorbing the nutrients it needs because of the mass of other bullshit in the water . Lower the PPM the better . So if you can get your PPM to its appropriate levels for the plants age and development plus have the PH on point you will be styling and profiling my friend ! Hope this helps -Happy Growing!

I dont think its septoria because the spots arent turning black how ever . How ever it does look alot like rust which will eventually break open and spread spores around from the wind . If this is the case you would want to cut off any infected and affected leaves . Its important to keep the humidity down and the heat up by a little bit until you can further determine the problem 100% . It also looks like a possibility over feeding which will your leaves droopy and if the nutrients are to strong it will also cause burn . My advice to combat that is to make your nutrients 1/4 strength and increase as you see fit . It is also important have your PH set proper according to what your medium is . According to your diary your in soiless mix so your PH ranges should be 6.3-6.5 . This will prevent nutrient locks out and allow your plant to absorb all the nutes it can from the medium . I would also suggest that when you do feed with nutrients its every second of third watering. This will prevent your root one from getting to "hot" and allow for you plant to utilise what is in your medium to its full potential . When we talk about root zones being hot it means that there is to much nutrients in the soil and its burning the roots leading to what you see on the top of the plant in short as nutrient burns . I would also reduce the amount of water your feeding it based on your diary's stats your feeding them 1 gallon of water every 24 hours that't quite a bit for a young seedling you will eventually run into water logged roots and really droopy leafs if it stays like that to long you will get septoria which a whole level of problem. Remember that less is more when they are younger . As they get older you can increase the amount of water you give them but for now I think its too much . All in all your in good shape you just need to correct a few things and this little girl will be right back on track :D :D :D I hope this information is useful to you -Happy Growing!

Use both switches/modes 👍 i do it too 😉 i learned that the only different is that more blue gives you less strecht and more leafs, more red gives you less leafs and more strecht. But that is only for the first 2-3 weeks, later its depends on the light power (par not Lumen!) As long as you use a full spectrum you dont need to really care about more red or blue. (But more red ist always better for bloom) so it only depends on the Power of your lamp 😁 if you have enough power (30-50watt 1 saquare feet) only use bloom, otherways use full power 👍

So I am entering my 1st dwc budding process. With the coco I could water every day. But with the bucket I am struggling to understand how much water/nutes and feeding and changing the solution. At the moment 3 ltrs and leave this for a week?? This ok? Watching the ph.

With a little tanks like these you will need to change your solution every weeks I guess , and check it almost daily as the plant will eat a lot of nutrients and it will makes EC/PPM & PH fluctuate so you will need to check these 2 values ( I would have done it daily ) . I know that some people have an extra bucket to easily change the water they just take off the lid and put it on the extra bucket and repeat with every buckets but it require to have an extra bucket so If yours aren't DIY it could not be that cheap. 😊✌️🏼

You should probably check with the LED manufacturer, but most I’ve seen recommend switching both the veg & flower lights on together when flowering. Looking good so far!

This looks like a cool little setup! Looking forward to seeing how this does under the aerogarden for starters! 👊

the good thing about RO water is you know what's in it, which should be nothing. Other kinds of water have micro nutrients in them for example, fluoride and calcium for tap water, and carbon and magnesium for mineral water. Upping you PPM synthetically by using something else than RO will work for sure, but are they good PPMs? that's the main question, and why you don't want to up your PPM simply by switching to a different kind of water. If you do, and you want to spend $ on water, mineral water has loads of Carbon and minerals in it, that could be a good thing. think about adding some CO2 if you can, in veg it's very important indeed !

Guys thanks on the answers the set up is an AeroGarden which means Aeroponics with one feed per week. I agree with rust as the issue not septoria. I will lower the cal magic down a bit I am using ro water so my ppm is ok. Thanks for the information really interesting feedback I will post tomorrow plants growing fast.

so i examined today the plant is drooping, i will confirm this problem as over feeding, i use different guides its amazing how each type of plant does require different levels of nutrients. i was trying this time to use the aeroweed guide but i think the cal magic addition is far too high. i am going to move it back to the following. RO water, Flora Grow 2.5, flora micro 2.5 , flora bloom 1.25 cal magic 2.5. PPM 350 and PH 6.0. this i think should make it recover i will also remove any leaves with the deterioration. will do all of this tomorrow i will add some RO water now to dilute it a bit and change it all tomorrow afternoon. i also need a clever suggestion to how i can leave my plants for 2.5 weeks, i am thinking of a autopot.
