Hey guys! 2nd time growing and first time running FastBuds genetics. This diary is for the 2 x Pinapple Express I'll be growing. The tent will have these along with 3 x FastBuds SixShooter and 1x Crystal Meth. Had a bad germination rate this time round using the paper towel method so having to run a mixed bag. Should be a nice challenge though tending for the needs of 3 different strains in one environment. These will get topped early on then depending on how tall they get I may put them under a scrog.

Week 2 under my cheap 300w LED and these two seem to love it. I did have an issue where my extractor switched off and the little veg box was soaking wet at 100% humidity. This has caused them to curl and twist a little but not slowed them down at all. I moved them into these 800g individual pots on Friday as the roots were nicely netted and circling. I lifted them today and was pleasantly surprised to see that the roots are already poking out of the bottom so I may even re-pot then again before they go into 20 litre fabric pots. Gave them a drop of x-roots and x-force too and I'm going to do the full grow with BioGreen as it's been excellent throughout my stardawg grow. I might add some terpinator towards the end as everyone on here seems to rave about it. Anyway we have a long way to go before that and I'm happy that these Pinapple Express are getting a great start.

Week 3 complete. Had to support these Pinapple as they have gotten bushy up top really fast. Ideally these could do with going into their final 20 litre smart pots this week. Really impressed with the 300w LED I'm using for early veg growth. The internodal distance is so small and the plants are staying nice and stocky. EC kept below 1.0 feeding around 100ml of nutes every other day. PH at 5.6 and they seem to be loving it. No burn or curling up. This will be their final week in the small veg box. I topped them last night between the 3rd and 4th node.

Day 28 for these 2 Pineapple Express. I transplanted them to 20litre propots on Friday then put them in my main tent under the 315w CHMs on Saturday. It wasn't untill they went under the clean white light that I noticed they are suffering from some N deficiency. I've since give them a strong feed with some extra N and they have perked up no end. Expecting them to take a few days to completely recover from the stress of moving house and the deficiency. Great root mass which is a testament to fastbuds genetics. I'm hoping to have my improved co2 in the tent mid week so hopefully they will start to speed up as I do think they've been slower than others on here.

Pineapple in the Parlour! End of week 5 for these two beauties. I've fed them twice with the same feed as week 4 but both times supplemented 1ml per litre with Canna Nitrogen and 0.5 of BioGreen Calgel. They've responded perfectly changing to a luscious deep green colour and nearly doubled in size! I'm putting this down to many factors but have to give some credit to my new Ecotechnics Unis Co2 doser. It took a few days for the plants to respond but they have had a great burst of growth in the last 72 hours. At the beginning of the week I struggled with some environmental issues and these plants looked lacking in calcium but you wouldn't know if you looked at them today. Both beautiful and green! I'm hoping that by next week they will start showing signs of flower as I'm training them to go under a scrog and dont actually want them to get too big. The reason for this is because i have 2 Six Shooter in the tent also and want to give them enough space to show me just how good a strain they are. Ahhh But...... afterall this is my competition grow and I want these Pinapple to flourish and yeild the best they can. Hence why I'm investing heavily in my environment. As well as the Co2 I've also added an additional 300w LED into the tent. Its actually the light I used to veg these plants but I have ordered a new light for my veg box and I'm not about having lights sat around 😁 Fingers crossed these girls make the flip at some point this week. P Update: Day 39 added a few more photos of these beautiful Pinapple! I think FastBuds should have named them Amazon Express because this canopy is thick!!!! I think they are just showing their first signs of flower which is great so I may do a little bit of defoliation tomorrow or Saturday. Some of the biggest fan leaves are the size of my hand and taking up a lot of that valuable canopy light. As these are going under the net I'm just constantly tucking them under as they grow a couple of inches per day. Everything going really well with this grow I'm really optimistic.

Final week of Veg for my 2 Pinapple Express. These beautiful ladies have just started to show me their lady parts 😁 Everything going perfectly to plan thus far and FastBuds showing me the benefits of growing autoflowers. Lots of new growth appeared right before they start their stretch. I'd say theres over 30 bud sites on the biggest of the two plants and mabey 24 on the smaller one. Gives me plenty of space to spread them out under the net. After a week of stretching I'll be removing any growth that hasn't made it from under the net. Theres so much vegetation in the lower stalk area and i dont want any of that engery going to waste and making small popcorn buds. Feed wise they've suddenly become really thirsty. I was watering 6 litres every 3-4 days but this week they've urgently needed feeding after 48 hours. I'm going to keep a close eye and might even switch to everyday feed but slightly less at a time. Bloom nutrients from here on out. Check in mid week as I'll be updating pics as and when I get time or make any changes. Day 44 I've added a few extra photos of the full view in the tent. Canopy starting to fill out. These arent stretching too fast which I'm pretty happy about. Hopefully I'll be able to keep a nice even scrog.

What a pleasure these Pinapple are to grow. I couldn't be happier with the way they are filling out the scrog net. My only question is how bushy is too bushy? I've had to trim out a serious amount of undergrowth and large central fan leaves. I think a combination of great genetics and the complete spectrum the 315s output is causing the canopy to be so so dense. I'm just hoping the buds fatten up too! I'm trying to leave them alone as much as possible and I'm no longer tucking them under the net. I'll leave them to recover from today's defoliation and do some more plucking next weekend. I've got a feeling this tent is going to look very different in 7 days time! Now on everyday watering. Keeping the EC below 2.0 and fluctuating PH from 5.7 to 6.1 throughout the week to uptake as many nutrients as possible. Mid week edit: Please check out my last 5 photos added at day 52. One of the 2 Pineapple Express I have in the tent is looking really tired and droopy. I cant seem to figure out what is causing it as the other Pinapple is happy and praying. I also have 2 Six Shooter and a Cream Cookies and both of those are happy and stacking on the bud. Temps are solid at 29 degrees light on and 21 dark. Feeding when required. They just look like they are lacking something. Some of the oldest fan leaves have brown rusty patches on them too. I've given each plant a Biosys Microbe tea today in place of a regular feed. Ive also emptied and scrubbed out my water tank and watering can. Hopefully that brings them round but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Day 53, I've turned the blurple LED off in the centre and also reduced to 18/6 light cycle. They just look so lifeless. Almost like they are sick of the light. If she recovers I'll try turning the LED back on next week.

Check out my week 7 update for more info. Only one plant in the tent affected so it's really bugging me?!? Thought it was overwatering. Left them 2 days between feeds and they are bone dry and pots are light. Any suggestions or could it just be a trait of the Pheno?

Hey there ICP, i took a look, looks like two minor things to me. First of all those leaves with the strange coloring are a sign of phosphorous (P) deficiency. Second the little spots on the leaves some very minor calcium deficiency. You can fix the P-def with a bit more P/K fert, calcium deficiency you can fix with cal mag (2-6 ml / liter) . If you do remedy these, they should actually recover in around a week's time . Hope this helps bro ! 🚀

Terrible week for these Pinapple Express. Completely my fault. They have been over fertilized and as such locked out and shown deficiency. I started the week by giving them a Biosys Microbe tea. I've then flushed them twice and today given them another microbe tea. Instantly perked up and now back on track. This is a massive lesson for me. Just shows if your growing different strains in one set up you need to tailor the nute strength and in general take more care towards the needs of each strain. I'll bring the nutes back in tomorrow at half dose but it's clear these Pinapple arent quite as strong as their Six Shooter sisters. Regardless they are still on track and I'm positive that i can bring them round and make a good yeild. Check back mid week for some updates on their recovery.

3rd flower week complete. I cant help but think I've ruined one of the 2 girls. Shes taking a really long time to recover and bud growth is slow and steady. I've defoliated for about an hour and a half tonight and now really need to get some sleep! I'll pop back tomorrow with lots more photos and a more in depth update on what has changed this week. Update........ so ive been caring for the burnt up plant throughout the week. Shes not gotten any worse but just seems a little stressed now. I decided to remove the worst of the burnt and dried up leaves last night. I know it will also cause stress but I didn't want the rotting leaves to cause any bacteria growth around the healthy plants. They've been on everyday waterings at around 1.6 EC. I've included some Hygrowzyme in the last few feeds in the hope some beneficial enzymes may help the root zone take on nutrients. Despite one of the pair being unwell the other is healthy and vigorous. Shes not getting the attention she rightly deserves so I've included lots of photos to this weeks diary. I wouldn't want anyone to be put off from growing this strain as it has so much potential. I'm hoping that the healthy plant produces the goods and leaves me wanting more.

Sorry for the late update. It's been a hectic week at home and I barely had time to do the basic work. Bit of a nightmare also. These Pinapple are flying along and probably have 2 mabey 2,1/2 weeks left until harvest. I'm now getting leaf damage on both plants despite keeping EC below 1.8 at all times. Really cant put my finger on it but I've decided just to let them run out and ill try and be more thorough on my next attempt with this strain. Really happy with them despite that and bud structure is looking really great.

Once again i'm a little bit late on this weeks update. They are closer to 5 1/2 weeks of flower but I will get back on track this weekend. Cannot stop the burning so at this point I'm on damage prevention. Flushed them with ph water and hygrozyme mid week then today a light feed at 1.5ec. First photo shows the sheer size of this plant. I soooo wish I didn't have the problems with deficiency/over fert because I believe this could have been a 20oz+ pair of plants. I'm hoping its not far off that anyway. Trics starting to cloud up nicely so next week will be final week of nutes then from Sunday 20th they will have their final week on PH water. Gone a little bit longer than scheduled but I know the result will be great.

Can't seem to get caught up with this diary. I'm nearly a week ahead of this so on Monday I'll do the week 13 update before I go on holiday. Doubtful there will be a week 14 diary as my dad is taking care of the flush then hang dry. Once I'm home I'll do the harvest update and weight. Anyway. Girls are stacking up lovely. I seem to have the overfertilization under control. Frost is improving daily. Smell as you would expect. Tangy and fruity. Last day on nutrients will be Monday. After that a week or mabey 9 day flush then chop. Ill go back to the tent in a few hours and get some photos in the dark.

If anyone is thinking of trying FastBuds Pinapple Express then my advise is definitely give it a go! Training / Topping / Scrog will really really improve your yeilds. The quality of my buds could have been so much better and I will come back and give it another go in the future. Grown under Maxibright 315w Lamps. Topped at the 3rd node, Scroged and cut away all the lower growth after 2nd week of flowering. Some defoliation/leaf tucking needed throughout the whole grow. Dont go too heavy on the nutes and she will really reward with the yeilds. Taste and smoke is unreal. Really smooth and sweet! I'll be smoking this for a very very long time. Now curing in 20 litre buckets with a XL boveda so I'm hoping the buds do fatten up a little.
