Hello, this is my diary on the gorilla auto pack I got as a freebie. one died so This grow will only be one gorilla auto by fast buds seed. I will use 1.4L pot as I have very little space in my tent (40x40 cm). For autos in veg phase I barely give water as I fear to overwater
I did only used water and root juice for the first weeks watering almost twice a week, as I didn’t wanted to overwater the plant and started giving nutrients on the 3rd node (around week 3). I sprayed with leafcoat and put some preventative diatomaceous earth in the top of the soil.
During week 6, I put the trellis net and bent the plant so light gets to one side of it on a scrog. I went on a trip during week 5 so got no pics but it surely turned into flowering while I was gone. I set schedules on my temp but was checking on temperature to do manual adjustments on the phone app that controls the lights and so on.
I have noticed a bit of potassium and nitrogen deficiency so I added a bit more of bio grow and a k boost to balance things out, but it will start to be more prominent I think
I started noticing some red dots in the leafs and was thinking it was maybe a mold but resulted just the be the potassium deficiency getting strong, otherwise the plant is healthy and the buds are getting fat. I increased another drop from the k boost on a hope to balance things out
The flowers are looking good they are getting fat, leaves are yellowing and some drop I have been even defoliating by hand leafs that are dead or close to. I am excited for these flowers. the smell is still very weak I can only smell them if I touch them, I am rolling without a filter even.
So week 11, we are getting close to harvest for a week or two depending if I flush or not, the buds are still generating new pistils and they are getting heavy. I removed all the larfs buds that don’t get no light, even though this is an auto plant I don’t think it will affect the plant much in this time of the cycle. I then covered to spots with some leaf coat sprays. I started running a can-lite filter in this stage because I could start smelling the plants if not.
It takes good the feedings, I liked to grow it actually, very bushy strain, leaving it mature longer will give you bigger yields, try bend the branches for better light distribution on the lower buds. This plant has been very resistant to defoliation and it recovered fast.
