Experimental grow in double medium, tried before but couldn't finish then. Fingers crossed🤞
Perlite will only be watered, not fed, pH +/- 6, intention is to feed the batmix with Alga later on.
According to the article this experiment is based on, the nutrition could go up to ec 4..........
What a troubled start🙈 Not used to the cubes, but seemed to be the best option, considering we're growing double medium.
Grows very slowly, not looking very happy. Had a lack of time the first week....and it shows.
Luckily they have regained themselves...hopefully they'll get where I want them 😉

Keeping the perlite pretty wet, pH 6 water only. Overdid the watering on the batmix a bit.....no need to add more🙈

Even though they're doing fine, I'm not impressed. Don't get me wrong, they're healthy, but expected some more vigorous growth.

Rebuilding their "deck" after some defoliation goes pretty fast....seems healthy to me😁

Hoping to get some stretching. Pretty short internodes; would like some more space in between to be able to spread the light a bit better between branches. So far still very pleased with their healty looks though

Whow love this stage....changes are to be seen every day. Still no troubles whatsoever....all going well!
Adding some generator now to give them a healt-boost: warm weather coming up, experience thought me they handle higher temperatures better with this add.
Still steady 💪 as predicted, the temperatures got a bit high, gotta check for an other exhaust I guess.
But.....thanks to adding some generator (I'd like to think😉) they had no problem with that at all
Adding Grow didn't work out much, sadly.
Discoloration is picking up speed, suspecting something to be wrong with pH levels; getting into that now.

Seems like my pH meter has stopped working correctly, new one is on it's way.
Nr 2 shows a lot of problems, mostly on one side, as you can see in the last picture. Obviously the problem is to be searched in the soil-side. Nr 1 starting to look seriously infected to now.
Positive side; many buds are stil looking very good so far, it's mainly the leafs that worry
Despite some troubleshooting things are going downhill I'm afraid 😔 Not as flawless as I bargained for.....

Started out pretty pretentious on this double-medium thing. Unfortunately it started to "break down " a couple of weeks ago, couldn't get it straight. Thougt of transplanting them to normal soil, but deu to the age and estimated time to recover decided not to and just let them go.....
Tried a small bud last week, since I had no idea how things would be going ....up or down...
Effect was pretty amazing and satisfying, so decided to take them down and prepare for a new Dutchfem grow.
No more double medium shizzle for this guy.
