Happy to be getting on with this Diary finally! Bought this packet of seeds the same day they were released! I’ve been waiting since then for everything to move around in my tents and for all the diaries I had going to come to an end. Felt like it was time. I planted all three seeds in a seedling tray directly into some 70/30 coco/perlite mix. I placed this in my heated propagator box and three days later one seed had fully germinated and I can just see a second about to break ground. Hoping by the next update all three will be alive and well. I plan on giving them dechlorinated tap water for the first couple of weeks. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with these girls 😸 I can happily say that all three seeds are now above ground and growing well. The third seed finally germinated yesterday morning, a bit slower than the other two, but doesn’t mean much at this stage 🤷‍♂️😸 I’ll continue to feed them dechlorinated tap water for the time being, but will probably have started them on a light nutrient feed by the next update. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with these girls 🐱 I apologise for the quality of the pictures 😿 I've broken my phone so I'm having to use my tablet which hasn't got a particularly good camera 🤷‍♂️. All three plants appear to be developing at a good rate. I've started them all on a light nutrient feed. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱😻

All appears well with these girls 😸 Not a lot to report. They are all continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear healthy. Watering them 0.5 litres every 4-5 days. I plan on repotting all three plants once space becomes available. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with these girls 😸 I’m hoping to have all three plants repotted into something bigger by the next update. All three plants appear to be growing at a good rate and fairly uniform, not seeing much variation which is good. I’ve slightly increased the amount of A+B nutrients they are receiving and they appear healthy. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with these Ladies😸 They are all growing fairly uniform, still not seeing any major variations. They appear to have grown a good amount since the last update. I had planned to repot all three plants, but unfortunately I’ve run out of coco and some other essentials and won’t be able to until next week now. All three are continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear healthy. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with these Ladies 😸 I finally got round to repotting all the plants into 3 gallon fabric pots, they all had really healthy roots. I plan on taking a couple of clones from each plant at some point in the near future. Once I’ve done this they will probably go into flower. I’ve increased the amount of A+B nutrients they are receiving up to 2ml/ltr and they appear healthy. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚 Update 😸 I’ve taken a couple of clones from each plant now and put them all into flower. Didn’t think I would have time until next week, but fortunately circumstances changed 😸🤷‍♂️

All appears well with these Ladies 😸 All three are just entering their third week of flower. I’ve started to see pistils forming on all three, but il be keeping a close eye over the next few weeks in case I run into any herms 🤷‍♂️ better to be safe than sorry. I’ve removed a couple of fan leaves off each and cleared up round the bottoms of the plants a bit. All three are continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear healthy. One down, two remaining 🤷‍♂️ I generally start checking my plants around day 14 of flower when growing new genetics. Not a lot started happening until a day or so ago. The Black Honey Butter #2 appeared fine on first glance, but on a closer inspection she had started to produce male flowers up the main stem 😿 She got the chop and all her remaining clones were discarded 🤷‍♂️ The BHB#1 appears fine, good solid plant, decent structure so far. The BHB#3 is a bit slow grower. She barely stretched at all over these last three weeks. Both plants are continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear healthy. A bit disappointed that one’s hermed, but still got two (for now 🤦‍♂️) Until next time 🌱💚

Down to one 😿🌱 So maybe a day after the last update I was in the tent doing some light defoliation, when I noticed the first couple of male flowers on the BHB3 🤦‍♂️. Out she came and into the waste bin she went, along with her clones. It’s made choosing which pheno to keep a lot easier 🤷‍♂️ Fortunately the one remaining plant happens to be the one with the nicest structure and the most vigorous growth 😸 The other plants may have hermed due to some error on my part, stress from a bad feed 🤷‍♂️ I dished out a few recently 🤦‍♂️😸 I’m confident it’s not a light leak as the room is blackout during lights off. Could be unstable genetics 🤷‍♂️ as it was only this strain that has hermed 👀 Whatever the reason, I’m happy that I still have one to grow out 😻 I plan on adding some PK Boost to her feed at 2ml/ltr. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with this Lady 😸 She appears to have responded well to her first week with a PK Boosted feed. Her buds appear to be developing at a good rate and they feel solid to the touch. Not getting much smell from her yet. She’s extremely resinous to the touch, despite not appearing as trichome encrusted as some of the others I’ve grown. I expect she will frost over in the coming weeks 😸🤞 She’s continuing on the same nutrient feed as last week and appear healthy. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with this Lady 😸 What a change over this last week! Last update I wasn’t getting any smell from her at all. Now she absolutely stinks of this lovely Cherry Sherb, it’s intoxicating 😻🍒 It’s like it’s come from nowhere. Her buds continue to develop at a steady rate, she’s looking more like a 70+ dayer to finish up properly 🤷‍♂️ only time will tell though. She’s stopped receiving the added PK boost now and is back on a basic nutrient feed. Happy with how everything looks, until next time 🌱💚

All appeared to be going so well with this remaining Black Honey Butter, but unfortunately I’ve picked off two male flowers this morning 😿 I’ve been over the plant thoroughly and have only found the two, but it’s two too many! She’s too far along to toss, so I’ve decided to start her flush now. I’ve got rid of any remaining clones. I’ll be checking her daily from this point onwards and pulling any new male flowers that form. It’s pretty gutting really, but not a major loss. The seeds weren’t the most expensive and I’ve got other potential keepers in the works. I’m calling genetics on this one as I’m running 6 different strains in that tent and the BHB’s were the only one’s to herm 🤷‍♂️ Shit happens, it’s not put me off buying other IHG strains 😸 Other than that, she doesn’t look half bad 😸 Buds feel rock solid and stink of this intense Cherry Gas, It’s very reminiscent of Cherry Bakewells (cake) It’ll be nice as a one off smoke. Until next time 🌱💚

All appears well with this Lady. I’ve not seen or had to pick off anymore male flower since the last update. Checking her over sometimes two to three times a day if I’m there🤦‍♂️ She’s completed her first week of flush, I plan on giving her at least another week if not two. She looks like a 70+ day to finish fully, so another couple of anxiety filled weeks left to go 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️😸 I’m going against my usual practices keeping her around to finish, feel slightly foolish. She’s definitely something special though 🤷‍♂️ it’s quite annoying. Until next time 🌱💚

All appears surprisingly well with this Lady 😸🤞 Haven’t seen or had to pick off anymore male flowers. I’ve been checking daily which is a chore in itself 🤦‍♂️. The being said, her buds continue to swell and grow. It’s crazy how big and dense they are 😸 she’s got the kind of buds that make you worry about mold forming. The smell is to die for 🤤 it’s like a fizzy Cherry fuel, super Terpy, it really lingers. I plan on keeping her around for one more week. I feel like a fool doing this, but I want her to finish up as close to done as possible. Happy with how everything looks right now, until next time 🌱💚

Really disappointed with these genetics, all three of my plants hermed at some stage during their flowering cycle. Lots of potential, just not very stable

I harvested this plant on day 70 of flower. I’m really happy with how this plant turned out, but disappointed that this is it and that all her clones had to be destroyed. I started out with a pack of three. All three seeds germinated and grew well through veg from what I can remember. Two of the plants hermed over week 3 and 4 of flowering 😿 they were removed and disposed of. The third plant appeared fine until around week 6 when I noticed three male flowers growing around the central stem. I removed them and decided to start her flush and finish her as fast as possible. I’ve been checking her over daily on the lookout for more male flowers, but have found any. I run multiple strains in a perpetual cycle where plants are being started and harvested at regular intervals. This strain was the only one to herm so I’m confident it’s not my environment that’s at fault. Plus a friend on here @Thewoodfarms has also had herm issues with this strain so I’m not alone 😿 It’s a real shame, as you can see from the pictures she’s an absolute gem of a plant. Buds are some of the densest I’ve grown to date and the trichome production is off the charts. The smell on this one is out of this world! Gassy, Sour/Sweet Cherries 🍒 I just wish she’d not hermed 😿 She’s had a light trim, been cut into individual branches and hung to dry. I reckon this one will need between 10-14 days to fully dry. Well, it’s been a journey. I’d like to thank everyone that’s had a look, commented or liked this diary. Hope it was helpful in some way. Mixed feelings about this one, mainly sad 😿until next time 🌱💚

Hey how's it going! I'm currently doing a in house genetics run as well and am running one of the black honey butter. So far she has self topped 3 times and is very symmetrical while being medium in height. The sticky glue I'm running is monstrous compared to her and the rest of the ladies. Unfortunate that yours hermed on you I will be sure to keep a look out for that on mine! Praying for your other two phenos to have no herm issues!

Hey how's it going my friend! My black honey butter and other photos are on day 8 now and I can definitely say for a fact that the black honey butter is a super slow flowering girl. Not even a single pistil hair yet i'm definitely worried about herm. I think its safe to say if mine and yours all herm it is a genetics issue.

PersonalSmok3scommented8 months ago
@TheWoodFarms, I didn’t start seeing pistils until around week 4 of flower 🤷‍♂️ 🤞all yours are fine 😸 If not then it’ll definitely be the genetics. I’ve had at least one out of every pack I’ve run herm, not every pack, but more than I’d like 🤷‍♂️

@PersonalSmok3s, I feel your pain. Had a freebie Flap Jacks herm on me from Inhouse as well. I get the impression that you pay for the chance to get a killer pheno to make a mother or to breed with. Unfortunately that involves having to go through tents of herms to find a keeper. You won't ever catch me paying for Inhouse stuff unless I know for certain the plant isn't herm prone, which seems to be a common issue with inhouse.
