I don’t think that you topped it too early. I usually wait till I have 6 nodes and then top the plants 🌱 at the 3rd node and remove everything except for the 2nd & 3rd nodes creating a plus shape. Bottom line is that there is no wrong way to top your plants. As long add they are healthy and growing well then you should be fine

Best of luck on your venture into cannabis cultivation. It becomes an addiction in itself. Don’t be afraid to ask questions as there are a lot of seasoned growers on this site. I am currently growing 2 Royal 👑 Gorilla’s 🦍, and 1 Gorilla 🦍 Bomb 💣, and 2 Velvet Bud in my garden at the moment that are 35 days into Veg. I just hacked them up starting to do a modified manifold which will extend my Veg by a week or two. I post bi weekly videos to my YouTube Channel. @DinafemSeeds, Hi Mark, took the photos about a week ago, so 3 weeks sounds about right, definitely want them to fill out a bit more 👍 Don't own a microscope but I do have a camera with a really good macro lens which will hopefully suffice in the meantime? I'm posting another update tomorrow for week 13 - let me see if I can get some close-ups of the trichomes which I can add to the post. Thank you for the advice, much appreciated 👊

@WeBeGrowing, Thanks mate 👍 Just going of the pictures I would say you have more than a week left. I would say closer to 3 week's which will give more time for those buds to fill out 👌 Would you agree? Also, do you own a microscope to check trichome colour and development? This is the best way to judge the harvest window. Getting up close and personal with those trichomes really let's you see how they are maturing 👌 All the best ✌️ Mark..
