Placed 2 seeds in damp jiffy pellets as per usual. Placed in glass covered glass container on seedling mat. 1x seed sprouted on day 3. Other seed did not sprout. 04/09: Sprouted seed with pellet -- 1L pot Unsprouted seed and new seed -- new pellets on seedling mat 04/10: Sprouted seed -- watered 50ml with root juice (2 ml / L) and calmag (.3 ml / L) for soft water. 2x unsprouted -- no change. 04/11: Sprouted seed -- looks good. Has two leaves. Uploaded picture. Soil still damp. 2x unsprouted -- no change. Will give another day or two. 04/12: 2x seeds sprouted. Watered new seedlings with 200ml calmag / root-juice / bio-heaven following all-mix instrucitons. 04/15: Lightly watered 100-150ml each seedling in 1L pots. No runoff. Switched to 18/6 light timings to avoid stress caused in other grow in tent. 04/16: Soil seems damp to the touch. No H2O today.

17.04: Day 8/5 Plants are looking ok. Watering about 100ml - 150ml every other day when soil seems dry. Older plant seems to have same leaf burn that other older plants have. It will be interesting to see if the new 18/6 light schedule prevents burn on the younger plant. Hoping they both pull through. 21.04: Day 12/9 Transferred D12 plant to 10L on day 10. Leaves were getting big already, nearly reaching the outside of the 1L. D9 plant was transferred on day 8. Not a big seedling but i had to replant early due to time constraints. P1 has same spots that older siblings. I feel might still be slight light damage or they are hungry. Seems early for nutes. Reducing light to 75% power @ 18" for 150W LED.

21.04: Day 16/13 Plants looking healthy. Transplanted both from 1L to 10L fabric pots, but didn't have enough substrate to completely fill P2. Cut with 2L of organic topsoil and filled only 6L of total substrate. Otherwise they look healthy.

30.04.24: P1 has some funky leaves on the very bottom that have turned yellow. I suspect they had problems from the light issues I've since corrected. P2 looks great. Pretty happy with the progress and hopefully they start to really shoot up.

Any idea what this could be? Def had light burn conditions the first week. Two weeks later the bottom leaves are getting worse. Slight discoloration on other leaves. Also sister plant doesn’t have any issues with yellowing leaves nor discoloration, but it’s 5 days younger. Thx

It's not uncommon at all for those first leaves after the cotyledons to do that really. They're generally close to the soil and often get wet. They're at the bottom of the plant and don't get the best of light. Also they're the first leaves a plant will cannibalize when it needs more nutrients for newer growth. Don't stress unless it moves to newer growth.

Both plants are looking healthy. P2 had a little more than half the soil, but looks good if not a bit stretched. Relocated under more light. Gave topping a shot after reading that Royal Creamatic auto strain does respond well to it. P1: left alone.

15.05.2024 // Day 34 They've gotten pretty tall. I'm quickly out of space from my first grow in my tent, so I defoliated with a heavier hand than with my first grow. They still seem to be responding well. P2 was topped last week and seems to be growing back with two main colas now. Hope it works. P1 looks healthy.

18.05 // Finally noticed they started to flower; right at the end of week 5. I didn't want to buy a new bag of substrate, so I used a Kaktus mix from Dehner. 5L split among both plants. The mix includes volcanic rocks to promote better drainage.

Week 7 from germination, week 2 of flowering. Man these things are tall. I'm growing them next to my Guava x Gelato 41s and these things are a solid 10cm taller and a month younger. Going to be beasts. P1 I did some slight defol on and it's looking good. P2 is 4 days behind but I decided to top her a few weeks ago because, why not. She appears to be flowering but no visible buds yet. I know it was high stress, but I'm hoping it pays off. Either way, it will be nice to see the difference. Stay strong buds.

Week 3 of flower. The strain that wasn't topped (P1) is looking very good with visible trichomes and first signs of looking frosty! The topped plant (P2) definitely has more baby colas, but they do look to be a bit behind the other plant in terms of development. To be fair, P2 was a bit slower grower even before the toppings. Other than that, the plants look very tall - almost twice as big as my Guava x Gelato 41s that are in the same tent.

Week 93, Day 58. Time for some detailed photos. P1 (defoliated only) - . Looks generally healthy although I do have a few leaves with brown and yellow spots. I suspect this may be an issue with calcium, however I do feed it CalMag all the time. I messed with the soil a bit when I started and only topped it off with a local blend from Dehner about 3 weeks ago. Thinking it may be something regarding the uptake of calcium, I began feeding the plant a little sulphur free molasses at 5ml / L H2O mixed with an diastatic malted barley powder at 1tsp per 3L H20 along with the regular feeding. Hoping the enzymes and the sugar will help. P2 (topped and defoliated) it is looking much bigger: both the tallest plant in the tent at 105cm but also the widest after topping. It still seems about a week or so behind the other plant in terms of trichome production, but there are quite a few more colas. It's almost like topping.... works?! I hope it catches up to speed on the trichomes though because both seeds germinated at the same time. I am also feeding this plant the additional molasses and DMB, although it seems to only have one affected leaf.

Week 10 update: Brown and yellow spots spread to other leaves. Popped the pictures up of just the leaves that were new damage. Strange because my other plants use the same nutrients yet def looks like burn and pH is off. Going back through my notes, I topped off each plant with 2.5L of Dehner Cactus blend. I read the front of the package, didn't see the back that said it also contained NPK ferts. 😐 Cut off dead leaves and flushed both plants with clean water. Going to let them dry out for 4-5 days, then back to organic regimen. // 4 days later: P1 is still quite water logged. P2 is about half dry. Going to try another day or two without water. Both plant’s leaves look much healthier.

21.06.24 // Day 73 the plants look better. Flushed about 10 days ago. Taking water and nutes again. The colas seem to be getting bigger and only a couple of the leaves have yellow spots. I think (hope, really) that I'm in the clear. I would like to harvest in two weeks. 23.06.24 // Day 75 man, i just don't know. P1 is having a lot of issues still that look like under/over nutrients. I flushed but maybe it wasn't enough. P2 seemed to bounce back well. I'm stumped. My initial thought is that maybe it's problems with multiple nutes and pH. The pH is pretty high for the soil between 7.3 and 7.5. I've also consistently given CalMag at 1ml/L the entire grow. Maybe that's causing a problem. I was reading that CalMag even at a normal level can cause issues with lockout for LED lights because the VPD is different than with other lighting. My plan: next watering I'm going to stop the CalMag and lower the pH of the water down to 6.5 with lemon juice. Just need a few more weeks.

26.06.24 // Day 79 (11 weeks, 2 days) The end is in sight. P1 looks days away from being ready to chop. Leaves are yellowing quite a bit. P2 is definitely less developed but it has far more colas. Both look nice. I'll probably chop early next week. 29.06.24 // Day 81 (11 weeks, 5 days) I decided with the leaf issues and time constraints that it was ready to chop. Not a lot of amber but there's a good amount of cloudiness, so that's encouraging.
