welcome fellow cannabis enthusiasts, this diary will follow the journey of a clone from humble beginnings to the founding of an empire on to her abdication of the throne to fulfill her destiny under the open sky. in a previous diary i documented a run of 9 "Undercaker" seeds from Dark Horse Genetics, from which 18 clones were taken before flowering, culled to 4 clones kept (2 from each female) of which only this clone remaining from the #2 phenotype which i referred to as the "og type" early on in flower because of its strong og smell, one of those plants that make you realize how necessary carbon filters can be, loud and proud. i only got the chance to flush them for a week before i chopped them down, ideally another week would have finished them off beautifully, this particular pheno had only begun to fade...alas life makes demands of you and the trichomes were completely milky so it turned out sufficient but i feel like i left something on the field as it were. in spite of setbacks personally i feel like the old man and the sea, in that although surrounded by a treacherous ocean i managed to "catch" a keeper which survived the journey back to the "shore" with me, a 9 week odyssey from cutting to starting vegetation. she was in a sort of "stasis" after rooting under some weak fluorescents merely surviving but after putting her in her "throne room" she has already doubled in size chugging 600ppm/6.5ph masterblend solution at a rate of 1.5-2 liters daily with 4-6 light foliar sprays of sensi calmagxtra throughout the day under 24hrs of 25% light, i have a few autos paying court to her which will only be around for 2 weeks to get established after which ill increase the lights and go to 18:6 light cycle...but i will post every monday with updates. thanks for checking out this grow! edit: a little explanation of the diarama being displayed and "what's in the pot?", i don't think i've yet to post anything about the medium, i like to put a layer (1") of hydroton on the bottom of the pots then fill them with recycled potting soil which has been through around 7 grows of rootballs such that the "soil" is 90% decomposing roots 10% filler materials (hydroton, perlite, mulch) which i will hydrate once and top off with a final light misting just to wet the top layer without causing more "settling" then another 1/2" layer of hydroton forming like a hydroton sandwich that i've found fairly efficient at moisture regulation and root propagation. the scene here is of a primeval nativity being fostered on an island of recent volcanic creation by the buddha of prosperity and abundance who was drawn in by the promise of a shady retreat, also present following the buddha is the great serpent seeking to turn his machinations towards the benefit of mankind who frolic and dance beneath the expanding boughs.

believe it or not, a mere 7 days have passed since her majesty relocated the capitol and acquired the blessings of the buddha of prosperity. in height she has increased over twice her former stature, in the domain she was capable of drawing power from her reach has expanded by a factor of at least 4 possibly 5, the leaves themselves responding to her ambition have gone through quite the metamorphosis, from frail finger-type sativaish fans into these monstrously engorged solar panels the size of a human hand, got her on 1.2ec (around mid-week doubled the solution) which she laps up at a rate of 1.5-2 liters/day with the usual foliar of sensi calmagxtra, except i soak her 4-5 times a day...no more light misting. this plant has shocked me with her rapid growth as she had literally been the same size as when she was cut 9 weeks prior under a minimal nutrient solution and weak flourescent light, it's like she was biding her time, focusing cultivating her inner-self until the time was right politically for her to emerge as a claimant to the crown. this is it fellas, you just know, she's the one. practically speaking, i haven't done anything different when it comes to working with the plant, it's just the genetics...i been without a real stunner for many years now so perhaps this is just how a plant with good genes does it's shit nowadays, i say to myself "old man, this is just some reggie, kids these days bring around that purpled-up, collandar-cut, rolled in sugar stuff which all agree is the killah, your old ass just found some sweet-smelling young trollop to lead you around by the nose and high and dry"... i dunno, to me at least, this shit is 100% bona-fide kindness and without a doubt the best lady i've had the pleasure to attend to so ill putter around in my garden with my teeth stuck to my lips in a joker smile until i remember my cup of tea is right in front of me on the desk and then spend about 10 min mind-blown and still sahara-mouth. will update next week...almost of a mind to top her...but topping her after only a week feels like im forcing myself on her :)

so last monday i left off talking about topping little mama, well after posting week 2 (the end of week 1 of vegetation) i ended up topping her unceremoniously and she spent the remaining week throwing up her "star chamber" of 12 "peers", the explosive growth aside, this strain "undercaker" by dark horse genetics presents uniformly across all the phenotypes i've seen the most insanely vigorous early undergrowth (referring to an untrained specimen everything aside from the main cola everything else is, to my mind, undergrowth or secondary growth) and not that it's exactly atypical but i've seen my share of genetic expressions this plant is wont to show but hat's off to jason and the dark horse crew, because this plant was 3 nodes at 2.5inches of stunted or arrested growth at week 9 since cut from the progenitor who was at week 5 from seed so she is technically 14 weeks old, i digress, right now i crossed off week 2 and as i was getting set to snap some pics and turn the week in...i got serious with this bitch and up-potted her to a 4 gallon (maybe itll hold her for longer than 2 weeks), i had some autos in the tent but they got put in a window to make way for a seed-starter tray, which i planted 12 "herm" seeds from some "king's banner f2" last year, 18 seeds of some b.s. (bag seed) and around 12 cuttings i took off of this slut already, like i said earlier she bushed out with 12 colas to compensate for getting decapitated, all of which i super-cropped under stakes if they were the bottom 4 or 5 shoots and every other cola including the janus-like twin heads at the apex were super-cropped and tied down with lacquered copper (magnet) wire, all of the secondary shoots of these colas were dealt with on a case by case basis depending on how the overall foundation of the plant will benefit, with so many main colas available this early on i am intent on rigorously training her to produce 6-12 7-8" cuttings every two weeks this summer before a final trimming before putting it out into august heat to veg for 6 weeks until flowering time outdoors....i'm hoping for a 12 foot (4 meter) monument to her majesty and reckon that's about the best way to go about it bnt im open to suggestions for early training with an eye towards massive outdoor trees....what i was trying to say earlier though..shout out to jason and the crew at dark horse genetics for this spectacular structure! every growth has a natural "knuckle" with sharply-featured stem contours (no limp-wristed noodle stems over here!) and this phenontype here (peeps round my way call it "strawberry kush") has some massive fans on her...i bet you can make literal fans out of her late-life foliage, fuck it im gushing...me at my age...getting my head turned by this stinking bitch...im a hopeless stoner it seems....cant wait till next monday -willy

just getting everything stacked up to jump-start a perpetual grow, cut about 20 snips a week ago and put them in this makeshift aeroponic cloner...a few roots at 7days under the jeweler's loop...2 weeks is what they are allotted before going to veg...she's ready to put out 8 or so 9-12' cuttings currently...ill give it a few days then rotate new snips in the cloner...main goal is stacking up a nice selection of rooted clones, the idea being 3 clones move forward every 2 weeks, with these being reduced to 2 that will progress into flowering, the third plant sacrificed for new cuttings...neways everything is basically on rails until i prep the flowering area...8-10 plants total, pairs of 2 moving forward every 2 weeks...2 plants at week 1 flower...2 in week 3...2 week 5...2 week 7...2 week 9 (8 weeks is the target)...i may skip the odd week here and there until a '[happening" occurs...jah grant you dense and sticky nug - peace -willy
