19.04. start germination of 3 freshly bought seeds in waterglass: tap water PH: 6.9 starting water temp: 22°C room temp: 20-22°C glass placed in dark cupboard 21.04. all 3 seeds did germinate in glass one was way ahead with 0.5 cm root. The other two just did crack open and did show a tiny white rooty barely visible - still placed all three in their final 11L pots about 1 fingertip deep left the pots in the room at 22-24°C Did water with the same 6.9PH water from germination glass using spray bottle. first two days probably was way too little water. Only did 3-4 sprays every few hours to keep the surface moist. 23.04. Noticed, that below the surface the earth was quite dry, so I did continue with a lot more sprays till the surface felt really wet, so that the water can perforate into deeper. 24.04. The additional water seemed to work well. All 3 seedlings emerged from the ground in the evening. All 3 were free from seed shell 25.04. Put the seedlings under my SANlight Evo 4x80 at 40% (lamp as high as possible) in the morning Android Photone App did show 20 DLI with 20h light - I chose to set the timer to 18h on and 6h off in a desperate try to reduce the amount of daily light. Huge problems with humidity. cant really get it above 45% without humidifier. Did put a bucket with water into the tent and put a wet towel over it, so that it does touch the water in the middle. it helped to get it from 40-45% in average Did cover the seedlings with an open plastic bottle.. hopefully that bottle does increase humidity inside to at least 50% Room temp 20-24°C Watering every 8h with PH 6.6 tap water. still using spray bottle till the surface feels really wet. 27.04 Nothing changed. Seedling is growing slowly. Guess the low humidity is slowing growth quite a bit, but it is looking good and keeps growing, so I guess it is not too bad. Height: 3.5-4cm

Hi, first grow here. My automatics are at their 16th day above ground. I think I have to top one of my plants to keep her height in check. Where and when should I top her? should I rather only do LST or maybe even wait for now (but they are automatics, so I should be quick?)?

With Autoflowers you want to avoide as much stress to the plant as possible because you are on a set time of growth before its flower. Topping is considered stressful to the plant. However, some people do this and have good success. Personally I always LST my Autoflowers and they turn out amazing. If I were you, I would simply pull down the plant to level out the canopy and keep pulling down the branches as they grow. This will open it up and cause more branches to get better light and in return produce amazing colas all over. You can check out my Banana Purple Punch Diary to see how I LST my plants and then what they grew up to be. I hope this helps.

Looks like my plants are growing towards the wall and not towards the middle where the light should be the best. Why do the plants behave like that and what should I do? Raise the net, rotate some of the plants, then redo the net? Remove the net completely? leave it as it is?

Actually plants tend to be taller when there is lack of light... If in the middle you have the brightest light that's normal that branches remain shorter. Plant in the right corner stretched the most in the grow tent corner area. Wild guess - she receives less light because of the fan. Just measure PPFD in different parts of your grow tent and you'll see. You have to rotate plants. Try alternate position of the fan.

what should I do? history: 21.05. Water with full dose of fertilizer ... 26.05. Soil really dry - Water with half dose of fertilizer 27.05. Plants look super healthy (24°C 55-60%RLF) 28.05. started to droop (27°C 40-45%RLF) 29.05. even worse, (25°C 45%RLF), surface still moist

Make sure to get 10-20% run off each time you irrigate too, this is essential for plant/soil health.
