Mr_Green79 My Gelato is growing wonderfully. I have 2 plants in my DWC system. With both, I had to try to get the right amount of calMag.. The cherry is a bit weird.. I decided to give all my attention to the Gelato and dedicate a separate tent to the cherry in the next run, as she is quite the little diva and really needs a lot of care..

Mr_Green79 The growth is going quite well. The Gelato has a very interesting smell of lemon and milk chocolate. I was at Barneys in Amsterdam on April 5, 2024, to try Gelato.. The seller tried to push Dr. Grinspoon on me like he did 15 years ago... 😂 But I really don't like that strain.. After finally getting my Gelato with a weird look from the seller, I wasn't really convinced.. Neither the smell nor the taste really appealed to me.. I found it strange because a buddy had the same Gelato strain from Barneys and it had a completely different terpene profile.. just like mine does now.. Seems like Barneys sold some low-quality weed.. questions upon questions.. But the seed quality at Barneys is unmatched.. If I germinate 10 seeds from different suppliers, Barneys is always the first seed to stretch its head up... 👍

Mr_Green79 Small temperature problems in the tank. I'm now throwing in 2 X 500ml ice cubes into the tank to get the temperature under control. Had a slight over-fertilization. Adjusted with osmosis water to ec1200.

Mr_Green79 The Gelato has a very nice scent. The leaves are slowly turning a bit yellow. I increased potassium with B52 this week, but the leaves stayed yellow... But since it's coming to the end, I'll just leave it as is.

Mr_Green79 Sehr schöne volle Buds. Sehr leckeres Aroma. Der Geruch ist stark. Noch ca.12 Tage, dann wird gespühlt.

Mr_Green79 I just wanted to let a plant grow without cutting anything off from the bottom... Now I had to install lights from below as well.. I've been flushing for a week now. There were a lot of deposits in the root system.. The lights will go off in about 3 days, and then in about 6 days it's harvest time.

Mr_Green79 Yeah, the harvest was really good. I flushed for 12 days and had to rinse the roots properly a few times. In the last 4 days, I took away water and kept the light off for 3 days... I noticed in the last days that male flowers wanted to form, but luckily the time was too short for seed formation... So far, this is the one with the biggest buds I've had... A very nice lemon, skunk aroma with a creamy note... Really love it... Yeah, I found out that Advanced isn't that great... at least not for my system. I have an RDWC system with air stones... I think the air supply constantly lowered my pH too much, which I only realized too late... But then I just adjusted the pH and changed the nutrient solution more often... So it seems like there was no way to avoid pH control anymore... I can only give the exact weight in about 3 weeks, as I take the drying process very seriously.
