I soaked three seeds over night, placed in wet paper towels and ziplock bag in warm dark place for two days and then transferred the sprouts to peat and 24 hour indoor light. After June I will acclimatize them to outdoor. One seed looks iffy it has a tiny tiny tail while the two others have grown enough to loose their helmet’s. I still put it in the peat but will keep a close eye. Sometimes they take off and sometimes they don’t. I wont give up on it! 😃
Not much to report this week. One seed came thru. Lost one to a broken stem and the other never progressed. The one left is strong and I will be transplanting to a larger container in a few days.
5/5/24
Transplanted to a 6” pot in fox farms ocean forest organic soil, sprinkled with great white and watered in with hysheild. Just used a spray bottle for now a few squirts until she grows and needs more watering. I will move her up to larger pots as she progresses.
Growing so nice and healthy! Going to change the lights to 16/8 this week and start acclimating to outdoors, our outdoor season starts beginning of June here.
This is a wonderful happy plant! I transplanted her up to an 8” pot, will keep acclimating to the real sun and plan to move her outside eventually.
I am starting her on a soil drench with Monterey Insect spray(spinosad) to start the protection from unwanted bugs. So far its been easy peasy happy growing!
This beauty is coming along. I suspect a lot of root business is happening. She has grown 1.5 inches over the week. There is some discoloration happening at the lower shoots. I will trim some of those off. The new growth looks perfect. She sort of looks like a little old soul on the lower branches. Overall I think she is healthy and happy. The larger pot came just in time. Next time I will repot sooner. I was thinking about doing some topping or LST. There are eight true branches and the lower four look like they could come off.
I think I will also start pest and disease prevention as a foliar spray as well.
All the nutrients and ingredients are listed above.
Regalia and Venerate are from Marrone Bio Inovations. Regalia is for disease and Venerate is for insects it is like spinosad. Wish me luck😃
I re-potted to a 15-gallon fabric pot. Acclimated to outdoors.
I expect a big growth spurt now that her pot is bigger. This will be her permanent pot. So far so good. I am continuing with pest and disease prevention by adding regalia and venerate to the waterings. Soon I will start doing a foliar spray weekly.
She is growing on track. I pruned off the lower two branches and tied her over. She is completely acclimated outside now and loving it!
She has little spiders making homes and I have not seen any pests. I am still watering in with spinosad & regalia as prevention weekly.
She is loving her spot outside now! Great full sun spot. I am doing the preventative foliar spray with spinosad & regalia every week. Growth is on track. Adding a layer of oceans forest soil weekly.
So healthy and happy! Easy to grow so far and on track for outdoor in my area. Still adding a layer of fox farms ocean forest soil each week & watering with 6.5 plain tap water every other watering. Doing a preventative pest and disease watering using spinosad & regalia every other watering. So far so good. Will be doing more LST soon and also I am lightly twisting stems each day. Her stock and fan leaves are getting bigger and bigger. She is defined a female plant! Growing exac as expected! Happy easy grow😀
Easy peasy so far! Right on track. Starting pre flowering right on time! Simple grow just adding an inch of soil every week. Continuing the preventative pest and disease control with soil drench and foliar spray using Monterey insect control (spinosad) & Regalia. Every other watering and spraying every week. Happy growing this strain!
Something started munching on her leaves so I will kick up the preventative measures to every 5-7 days using foliar spray of Monterey insect control & regalia. But still exactly on track for an outdoor plant in my area & easy peasy with this simple method!
Great week! Developing exactly as expected for outdoor in my area. We are getting some lower leaf fade. I will add a layer of fox fRms ocean forest soil. I am continuing with the pest and disease prevention using soil drench and foliar spray every 7 days. I am using Monterey Bay Insect control & regalia. The hairs (stigma)are a beautiful pink hue at the tops. We have some friendly insects and that makes me happy because I know that my pest management is working and not killing the good guys!
Things are going great! Adding a layer of soil every 7 days, using Monterey insect control & Regalia as a pest and disease control/ prevention regime. The flowers are developing just as expected for outdoors in my area. Everything is organic and happy. Some yellowing of lower leaves is happening on schedule as flowering development continues. Smell is stronger at night. Hairs are slowly starting to turn as flowers pack on bulk. Super happy with how things are going!
Well this week went ok, layered fresh soil & watered with Regalia and Monterey insect control. Sprayed with Lost Coast Therapy for mold and bugs. I had to cut off some due to mold starting and this is normal for my area outdoors. It was not devastating, so I call this a win! I will spray with Lost Coast plant therapy every day and meticulously check for mold until I find none. Then I will go back to the weekly preventative schedule.
The plant is growing on track and beautiful it smells wonderful!
Well its has been going, we got some PM and had to cut so much flower off! I tried spraying with hydrogen peroxide last night and trimmed lots of fan leaves off. I am going to harvest in the next day or so. This is why I try to do my best LST because the mold outdoor in my area by the coast always seems to appear despite my preventative program. But I will still get some great flower just not a full plant anymore.
I lost so much to the mold! I guess i needed to harvest earlier. Well lesson learned! The strain was excellent genetics grew exactly as expected even when the mold came on, sh still had praying leaves and continues developing. Just that darn mold kept spreading! I also had a health issue that slowed me down and I guess I just didn't inspect well enough or think things through. I should have harvest at 16 weeks and I would have gotten a great harvest as little early.
