Dennis_Bong The seeds all germinated well, and it took two days for the seed coat to open and the plant's growth to begin. The seeds were placed directly into 20-liter fabric pots after germination, which had already been watered and fertilized with a Biotab tablet for a week. This tablet was placed pretty much in the center of the pot.

Dennis_Bong The plants in these photos are exactly 30 days old since germination. I replaced one plant because it was an Epsilon F1 that likely had mutations. It had stunted leaves that didn’t look like those of its peers and was growing significantly slower. So, I swapped it out after 2.5 weeks. The little guy (the replaced plant) is of course suffering a bit from light stress now, so I’ll probably end up with a very stunted plant. But better than leaving the space empty. So much for what didn’t work: The Sanlight was set to 20 percent for the first 2 weeks. Then I partially increased it with the dimmer: 2 hours at 25 percent. A week later, I went to 30 percent and 2 hours at 35 percent. For week 4, I chose 40 percent and 2 hours at 45 percent. I hope to acclimate the plants to the strong lights faster this way. In the next grow, I plan to measure the TDS of each plant using infrared. I’ll conduct an experiment on how to best implement the light increase. So far, I can only say positive things about the lights. In contrast to the accompanying app, which is really not very well implemented. The menu and settings are somewhat misleading and not very thought out. I have to keep watching the tutorials in the app since they keep popping up. Additionally, I would like the option to make more adjustments. But that’s nitpicking at a high level, because the app does what it’s supposed to do, just not very well in my opinion. I supported the plants with clips from the 3D printer. These clips can be adjusted piece by piece at an angle, allowing you to bend the stems. I adjusted the angle day by day so that in the end, I have a 45-degree angle. I did this over a total of 6 days. The plants have very uniform growth overall. The Cosmos F1 grows so optimally that no LST with the clips is necessary. I couldn’t find any deficiencies in the plants, nor any signs of mutations. The plants have an average height of 35 cm, with one deviating a bit more at 22 cm (another Epsilon F1). The circumference with LST for the Cosmos F1 is 20 cm on average without LST, while the Epsilon is negatively at 14 cm. All the plants were defoliated one week before flowering. Tomorrow, the plants will be defoliated again and lollipopped. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!additional info will be added tomorrow + photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *1st photo mutation: This photo was taken just 5 minutes after repotting the plant. Before, it was in a larger pot, where it looked the same. I repotted it because I needed the pot but didn’t want to throw the plant away. The plant is doing well, but it looks a bit battered at the moment. Pictures to follow.

Dennis_Bong !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!check out the last report !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Flowering has begun: Edit: 11.05 The plants exploded within 2 days. I have now set the light to 75 percent and added Cal-Mag again, as the last dose was only half. The two Titans look almost identical. The two Epsilons are about 3 days apart, one is about 5 cm smaller than the other and has hardly any flowers yet. I think that will change in 3 days. The Cosmos F1 has a circumference of about 50-50 cm, hardly any flowers so far. I hope it doesn't get much bigger, as space is getting tight. I am absolutely thrilled with the growth of this plant. Let's see what the flowering brings. Edit end I have removed all the flowers that are not in direct light, and all the leaves that cover the flowers. The plants show a Cal-Mag deficiency, which is normal during flowering, especially with this light. I added some Cal-Mag to the watering water. The plants are three days older than in the last report. Last week: The plants are exactly 30 days old since germination in these photos. I replaced one plant because it was an Epsilon F1 that probably had mutations. It had stunted leaves that didn't look like its peers and grew significantly slower. Dennis_Bong The plants have literally exploded in the week. The volume has roughly doubled. The Sanlights are at 85 percent. I will turn the lights up to 100 percent for 2 hours a day in 2-3 days to really go full throttle next week. Fortunately, the air is very CO2-rich. The air is around 1200 ppm for hours, and at a minimum, we're around 800, which are pretty good values for the plants. I've now added a Honeywell fan on level 2 to avoid mold. The fan is now also running with a carbon filter, which I didn't need in the previous weeks. The plants continue to get CalMag 3 times a week (1 ml per 5 liters of water). Since then, I haven't had any problems with brown leaf tips. All the plants have the same nice dark green leaf color. The humidity and heat that the box produces are unbearable. The fabric pots allow for good evaporation, but I'm still very satisfied. I believe that the plants are easier to grow large in the pots. I'll add detailed information to the pictures of the individual plants to better identify what's what. Bullet points: - Plants have grown explosively - Volume has doubled - Sunlights at 85 percent - In 2-3 days, lights to 100 percent for 2 hours daily - Air is CO2-rich (1200 ppm, minimum 800 ppm) - Honeywell fan on level 2 against mold!!! No mold is present, it's about prevention!! - Detailed information on individual plants will be added - Fan now running with carbon filter (not needed before) - CalMag 3 times a week (1 ml per 5 liters of water) - No more problems with brown leaf tips - Nice dark green leaf color - Unbearable humidity and heat in the box - Fan increased from 40 to 70 percent to lower temperature + humidity - Fabric pots allow for good evaporation

Dennis_Bong This week was a big strain on the plants since they moved to the basement. It just got too warm in the apartment. The box got an intake hose so that fresh air comes in from outside. The exhaust is also vented outside. The basement is additionally ventilated with an Amazon bathroom fan. This way, the humidity could be reduced to an average of 60 percent. During rain, I even had peak values of 82 percent in the box. I also installed an additional phone fan in the box, which has 40 watts and ensures good ventilation. Additionally, I'm building a ventilation system with KG pipes next week. I'm taking two pieces and installing them on the intake of the box. Then they will be placed at the edge of the box with holes drilled in to ventilate the plants from below. The pipes will cover the entire area of 1.5 meters. As for the nutrients, I can only say I'm very satisfied. The buds are slowly getting really fat. The plants show no deficiencies except for calcium-magnesium, which is added through the watering. Speaking of watering: I ordered drippers and a 100L autotop flexi tank. More detailed report next week, as well as about the occasional air. The lights are now running at 100 percent. The Titans are now on average 75 cm tall, just like the Cosmos. This plant is very thirsty and gets more water than the others and is significantly larger in circumference than the Titan and Epsilon. The Epsilon are about 55 cm on average but have the thickest buds. Main points: - Plants moved to the basement due to high temperatures in the apartment - Ventilation system installed (intake, exhaust, bathroom fan, additional fan in the box) - Humidity reduced to an average of 60% - New ventilation system with KG pipes planned - Satisfied with nutrients, buds getting bigger - Calcium-magnesium deficiency, compensated through watering - New watering (drippers, flexi tank) ordered - Lights at 100% - Titans and Cosmos about 75 cm, Cosmos thirstier - Epsilon about 55 cm, thickest buds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!pictures are still missing, update will come !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A big thanks to my girlfriend for taking pictures and videos.

Dennis_Bong This week I installed two additional Honeywell 40-watt fans, one on top and one on the bottom, to create airflow. The Autopot tank has arrived, but unfortunately, the wrong drippers were delivered, so I ordered new ones. The humidity was a disaster during the rain since the box pulls fresh air from outside. For the basement, I bought a fan box with 2 inputs and a switch to alternate between fresh air from outside and basement air in case it rains. I also purchased a 125 inline fan since I got white 75 rain pipes. My idea is to drill holes in these and insert nozzles to supply the plants with fresh air from below. I hope to save on one fan this way. Plants: All the plants look great. The Epsilon are very small and consume about two liters less than the Titan. I estimate that the Titan has twice the mass of the Epsilon. The resin production is also significantly stronger in the Titan, and the plants are more uniform. Since mass isn't everything, I'm curious about the final result. I don't want to say that Epsilon is a bad strain, but I think I won't grow it again. I had the strain once before, and it performed significantly better under different conditions. The Epsilon have about 95 percent milky trichomes, while the Titan are at about 85 to 90 percent. The Cosmos is not significantly ripe yet. I would like to take photos of the trichomes, but that didn't work out so well. Maybe I'll buy a microscope with a camera soon. I plan to harvest one Epsilon at 10 percent brown trichomes and the other at 20-30 percent, as I prefer the effect of the weed to be more uplifting during the day and more relaxing in the evening. Notes: The current performance of the Epsilon is worse than in a previous grow under different conditions. Next steps: I will observe the trichomes and determine the harvest time, solve the humidity problem, and optimize the plant ventilation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Setup: Installed: 2 Honeywell 40-watt fans (top/bottom) for air circulation. Output tank arrived, wrong drippers delivered, new ones ordered. Ventilation for the basement installed with switch for outside air/basement air (in case of rain). 125 inline fan purchased. Plan: 75 rain pipes with holes and nozzles for bottom plant ventilation. Plants: ------------------ General condition: Very good. Epsilon: Small, consumption about 2 liters less than Titan. Titan: Twice the mass, stronger resin production, more uniform. Resin production: Significantly stronger in Titan. Ripeness: Epsilon about 95% milky trichomes, Titan 85-90%, Cosmos not ripe yet. Photos of trichomes: Attempt unsuccessful, possibly buying a microscope. Harvest plan for Epsilon: One at 10% brown trichomes (high), one at 20-30% (relaxing). Notes: Epsilon: Current performance worse than previous grow under different conditions. Epsilon: Probably won't be grown again. ------------------ Next steps: Observe trichomes and determine harvest time. Solve humidity problem. Optimize plant ventilation.

Dennis_Bong Cosmos Report: The Cosmos plant continues to develop excellently. The buds are noticeably thicker than those of the Titan, indicating a high yield potential. The plant is currently receiving double the amount of water compared to the Titan and has already received more water than the Epsilon. This seems to positively influence its growth. Based on the current development, I estimate that the Cosmos will need about 2-3 more weeks until harvest. During this time, I will closely monitor and ensure that it receives optimal conditions. I am confident that the Cosmos will deliver a bountiful and high-quality harvest. !!!More info coming tomorrow !!!!!!

Happy Harvest Day!
Rated
7/10

Dennis_Bong Weekly Plant Review: This week was marked by the harvest of the Epsilon and Titan plants. The Epsilon showed some weaknesses, but the Titan delivered impressive results. The Cosmos is developing beautifully and gives hope for another successful harvest. It shows that choosing the right plant for the respective conditions is crucial. The Epsilon seems to do better in smaller spaces, while the Titan unfolds its full potential in larger boxes. In the coming weeks, I will continue to observe the Cosmos and document its development. I'm excited to see how this promising plant evolves and look forward to the next harvest.

Wow, powerful setup! Definitely exciting to see what is possible under really good conditions with the f1!

@Springtime, I actually still need a Sanlight in the setup and 20-liter Autopots, since I wanted to try out the Flexi. The plants have actually almost doubled in volume compared to the last update. There will definitely be another update on Wednesday, and then I wanted to make a tutorial on lollipopping.

Hello. Looks really good. I also have the Titan F1 here for the next grow. :) Could we somehow label the plants so that we can recognize the Titan F1s? Wishing you continued success.

@allways_beginner, I've tried labeling the plants. Unfortunately, it gets lost due to their rapid growth. I'm currently working on a system to differentiate them.
