High_And_Hydro The first legal outdoor grow, it's finally happening.
As always, I germinated in cotton pads and still have a 100% germination rate with this method. There's nothing better.
I prepared the soil 3 months ago, and it's a mix of 1-year-old light mix, compost, and clay pebbles without any specific ratio. I planted a few test plants to see if the soil is any good and if I might face other problems.
The nutrients seem to be okay, and I haven't been able to detect any root rot or other diseases.
The big problem, however, was the slugs, as they ate almost all the seedlings. So, I spread slug pellets and decided to start them indoors so they wouldn't be too small and defenseless when exposed. I've tried this with tomatoes and peppers now, and it seems to be working.
They will also receive slug collars as soon as I put them outside.
This plant will belong to my neighbor and will also grow in his garden, but I will document the grow since he doesn't want to.
In any case, I'm already looking forward to seeing the Purple Haze grow, especially since the first attempt unfortunately failed. This time, however, it looks better and doesn't have a hole in the cotyledon.

High_And_Hydro - I started the first week of the Biobizz Allmix feeding schedule and, as always, I'm starting with a cautious 100%, since my soil should be quite potent due to the compost.
- I also adjusted my tap water with my Calmag calculator. You can see the values in the pictures.
- I'm also adjusting the pH to 6.5.
- The light currently provides a PPFD value of about 350 - 360 µmol/s/m² with 18 hours of lighting (DLI of 22 - 23 mol/d/m²). However, it will only be used until it stays warm enough outside. During the day, they are already outside, as long as it’s not raining or storming.
The Purple Haze is doing excellent and it's right up there. I'm really happy about that since I've always wanted to see it. Probably understandable. 💪😄👍
Sie hat gut durchgehalten und trotz des absolut nassen Wetters keinen Schimmel gehabt.
Die Buds sind durch das wenige Licht draußen auch sehr luftig und hässlich, aber sie riechen und schmecken sehr süß und blumig. Wirklich lecker

High_And_Hydro Overall, it was an unpleasant grow since you were waiting for mold every day, but in the end, at least it was cheap and something came out of it.
Outdoor is not for me.
