I love to LST my plants. I think it does wonders for the yields. At your stage, you can begin to use wire to pull down your plant. Check out my diary to see how I did it. Works well and enables many main branches to produce huge colas during flower. My biggest cola on this last run was the very first branch that I LSTd from the very start. I hope this helps.

Second week, the plant has a few spots that look weird. I think it's caused by a few drops of water that were on the plant where it was in the sun.

Have a plan when defoliating. its not always a good idea to just randomly do this because you think its needed. Leaves make the plants food. less leaves = less growth/food. Its really only needed to help with airflow in a crowded tent to help avoid stale air pockets and reduce mold issues if your prone to them. Some LST can also be used vs defoliating. Looking at your diary this questions is linked to I do not think it is needed at all. Big no from me. Let it grow out and be as is. Lots of space and airflow between all the nodes. Good Luck!
