This is part of our first grow diary so here goes:
A little background first. We have been growing for over a decade, but had to take the past 2 years off. This grow is a combination of 6 Skywalker Autos, a Peanut Butter Haze Fem, a White Rhino Fem, and 3 Lambo Regs . The Lambos were found seeds from my local favorite jar of 30% thcA hemp flower and will stay outside the tent or in their own tent until sexed. When the autos are harvested, we will up pot the PB Haze and White Rhino and hopefully have a female Lambo to bring in to the tent as well.
All 11 seeds germinated! I put them in a glass of water on the warming pad for 12 hours, then moved them into paper towels on plates for another 36 hours on the pad. They then went into root riot cubes in a seedling green house.
We also got the tent built and ready to go for next weeks!
Had a couple males pop up so we pulled em. Down to just the viparspectra light now and temps will be better. Last week we re-ducted the tent as well and then upgraded the fans this week.
We got another couple inches of stretch at the end of last week. Did the last major defoliation to start this week as she stacks up. So far she is super frosty.
I think I had a bit of lockout going on this week. Showed small signs of magnesium deficiency. I flushed midweek and will feed again starting the beginning of next week.
Coming in on the home stretch now! Hoping she keeps packing on the weight. I super cropped the center Bud to level it the optimally plant height a bit. It was risky, but I think it was the right move. I expected this to take 9 weeks to finish, but it’s already throwing lots of orange hairs. I checked the trichs, and while I do have amber On the sugar leaves already, the buds are a mix of mostly clear, some cloudy, and one or two amber. This week might be the last week before flush and fade. Just in case it finishes early.
I was originally guessing this strain would run 9-10 weeks as the mother was a Lambo, but being a mystery cross, anything is possible. And it’s looking like she will be finished by the end of this week! We have mostly orange hair now. On the tips of the buds the trichs are 30% amber and mostly cloudy, but the sides of the colas are showing an even mix of clear and cloudy with maybe 5% amber. Sugar leaves are mostly amber. Switching to purpinator and cal mag only and cutting the castings/guano in half. I flushed week 6 of flower, and haven’t fed N since the end of week 2 of flower, yet still no fade. This thing is confusing, but very frosty and resilient. Smells are a mix of cream cheese, and lime zest.
It went 54 days from light flip to chop. It finished a week faster than we anticipated based on the mother strain. But since it’s a mystery cross, we weren’t tied down to that timeframe. Gonna dry for a week and see how she weighs up

So the cool part is I think i figured out the mystery father from the smell in the dry room. It’s very distinctive. I have smoked every strain the parents’ grower runs, and the seed came out of a bud of Lambo. Lambo is usually pine and lime. This has a sour lime smell at the end, but up front it reeks of pungent cheese EXACTLY like their Northern lights. I am so stoked as those are my two favorite strains they run, and it smells like a perfect blend of both.
