Day 1: Another week just started. Today is a cold and cloudy day, so another day inside for my plant. As already suspected yesterday, the smaller of the two leafs definiately seems to be burned a little bit. Maybe that's the reason why it's underdeveloped compared to the second leaf. I'm curious if this'll impact the growth of the plant in any way since it doesn't have to many leafs developed right now.
Day 2: Besides the one leaf that obviously got a little light burned I noticed that one of the other leafs (the one on the right on the day 2 picture) starts to get yellow tips aswell. Maybe that's another sign of light stress. I'll move the lamp a little bit higher for now and see if it gets better. Right it's at about 20cm, but I'll adjust it to 30cm instead.
Day 3: Today was another day inside for the plant. Growth is still visible comparing the pictures day by day. I still have a feeling that the plant is still quite small. Putting the light a little bit higher seems to have helped. The leafs, which were slightly hanging down at the end of the day, still look strong at the end of the day now. While testing for humidity in the soil I also found a few little white larvae hidden underneath the soil. Might be fungus gnats from the looks of it. That's why I ordererd some nematods to see if I can get rid of them.
Day 4: Nothing special happend today. The plant still grows nicely even if it's still relatively small. I guess 1 LED with 1520 Lumen is just not enough to sustain proper growth. After putting the light higher the leaves started to point upwards. I take it as a good sign, since no new yellowing occured on the tips of the leafs.
Day 5 + Day 6: Nothing exciting to tell, the first pair of leafs started to wilt a little bit, but the 3 fingered leafs still look alright (besides from the little lightburn).
Day 7: Today my nematodes arrived. Since the plant didn't get any water the whole week I give it about 250ml of water with the nematodes mixed in. Even if it's cloudy I decided to put the plant outside again since temperatures are about 20°C. I'll continue to do the from now on since growth has been kinda slow under the LED. Maybe real light (even if it's just light trough the clouds) will have a bigger impact then my little LED.
