Looks good. Julian has a mild nute burn. Flushed with water, looked happy the next day. Lowering the temp and increased humidity helped with the leaves slight curl. Caught quick enough. Plants look great at day 21. Run 300w LED, 2.. t5 CFL, as well as 1 ..UVA 100 watt bulb, 1 ..UVB 13 watt bulb. Fan, lights, and even music on 24 hours. No need for carbon filter turned on yet. Just planted my 4th baby, Candy Cane by Crop Kings.
Grow is going well ! Ricky is growing strong with no signs of deficiency. Julian is getting a yellow leaf on 3 leaves. Same watering and nutes as Ricky. Bubbles is just a runt, but growing. Introduced minor Co2 for the plants, too much Co2 with not enough light can hurt the crop! Introduced and preformed LST on Ricky and Julian. ..
Also,Introduced more nutes every other day with clean water once a week. Also get dry days here and there (depends on soil)
Per Litre of water......
MediOne Organic 4-3-3 ( 10 drops)
Solo-tek bloom 3-8-8 (5 drops)
Vitamax Plus 1-1-2 (5 drops)
Any comments appreciated. Cheers and Happy Holidays!
Actually week 5. Everything is looking nice. Ricky will be a strong one! Super fun to grow! Very white pistils throughout, even growimg along the lower stems in areas.
Please, any comments or hints are highly appreciated and seen as constructive. Cheers!
Nutes... 3-8-8 for flower......maybe use a 0-50-30 ......all made from Grotek. Will drop temp 4 degrees soon... as well as humidity.
Actually week 6, not 7. LEDs only off for photos.
Looking very good. If anyone can tell me about that one leaf that's a little strange...wind stress from fan?..but super healthy girls. Especially Ricky.
Drinks alot of water! Ricky Just over a foot tall. Would be 1.8 ft or so without LST. Julian is 9 inch. 1.4 without LST. Bubbles 8 inches.
Water schedule aprox.
Plain Water, nutes, dry, plain water, nutes, nutes, dry
repeat weekly
Actually end week 7, not 8. Ricky will be a large harvest if I can make it to the final stretch with no bud rot or pests. So excited!
Julian had a deficiency earlier in her life, thus the bloom and height growth is a bit slower. (Should have Cal-max on day 14.)
Bubbles is in the cup. For example only. As a rookie I wanted to observe differences while growing. The small Size of plater, lack of oxygen, no support, less light, no drainage, sloppy water schedule... is definitely helping me learn about color change deficiency in leaves and stems.
Calyx is swelling all over. Managed to get 3 huge main cola with my LST. One branch looks massive. Pistils mostly white, last 2 days noticed some turning amber on tips. . Even some tiny trichomes!
Actually week 8
Just laced with trichomes! Stinks so good! I have trimmed more fan leaves off both plants for light absorbed for buds. Slightest of nute burn, but she needed the calmax. Dry day and plain water followed. One branch just makes my mouth water. Yummy!
Temp are steady.
---》Looking for on an opinion on when to flush. Cheers and Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
Actually week 9☆
Flushing begins tomorrow in hopes of even bigger buds as well maybe a temp drop. Humidity is hard to control at low temps and would prefer no mold.

LST had definitely made it shorter, but, sooo many 2 foot+ branches covered head to toe. 😎 Would be over 3 ft. No lst.
Trichomes still clear and littered everywhere!. Few orange hairs.
Drying techniques anyone? Anyone?
♤♡♢♧
--Actually week 10--
Clear to cloudy trichomes. Count only a few slight amber trics. Flushed last 7 days, will flush a second week I think. I see she's starting to become deficienct from the flush. Can't wait to cut them down! They smell like a handful of mixed skittles taste! !!! 😍😎 Any advice much appreciated. Might dry with no watering for 3 days before harvest, in hopes of more thc. (But there already covered) :)
Actually week 11
Will put Ricky in 12hr dark. Just flushed heavy. Then dry. Then chop.
Will keep Julian for an extra week to compare high and smoke. Should i pull the whole thing and whack the dirt to keep root and all to dry or cut a d dry. I've heard whole dry has benefits.
It's been fun!
Will harvest the second plant next week to compare buds.
Just tastey. Dry is pretty much done. Then to glass jars for 3 weeks with fresh air daily. One of the buds is just as big any arm. I'm 6foot 4.
Smells like skittles. I swear. Lol
@Alberta780, 40x minimum to start seeing the inside of the "heads" on the trykes , 60x is comfortable, 100x + if you want to travel to an alien 👽 world - you got it BigA!
@Alberta780, k , tryches are visible at that range but you won't be able to see the "heads" , they might appear white but may be clear or even Amber and you won't be able to tell... Just trying to help !
Most definitely will do 12 hours off before the chop. I have a microscope with 100 1000 1600 settings. It involves cutting off pieces and putting into slides, and a ton of adjusting and lighting. I have seen milky trics. My 100x handheld should be here any day.
@Alberta780,i only know the comparison between nose and .. you know. "wie die Nase eines Mannes, so der Johannes". ... and yes indeed with size 12 , the Buds are very big
FFIW, that plant looks like it's has another 3 weeks to go at least. If it were mine right now, I'd completely defoliate her, put flowering nutes back in at around 800 ppm for at least another two weeks then. back to flushing if you want for another week or two. That's what it looks like to me anyway.
@Freddd, gotcha will figure out that pdf and... do it myself and see your grow... all these experienced growers cant be that wrong right? pulling out my notepad let's see !
@CRiSPrGrow, The best way to sort through it is to not use your built in biases which are normal but to simply see for yourself. All the words in the world are meaningless if you eyes tell you differently. The best research is to go to that link in my post and check out the compact thread pdf that is a summary of the main thread. Check out my OG Kush grow, after defoliation. Remember the flowers also have small leaves. Remember also that that in an emergency, like sudden imminent death or defoliation the plant will naturally want to finish as much seed as possible that's what the whole purpose of the plant is.
@Alberta780,For me Good prepared Soil and Lights and Good genetic Seeds are the most efficient part of the Grow. Iam not so in Nutes^^... or only as much as needed, Enjoy your Harvest and after the grow is before the grow. let me know...
@Mrs_Larimar, just about to cure. Gets me baked! 1st plant smells a little like hay, but smooth smoke. Cure will help I think with hay smell.
Harvested #2. Nugs feel a bit more tighter and dense. Second plant 220 g wet. Should get a 2 more ounces dry. 5 ounces , 2 plants. Not bad. My next grows i have now are higher quality seeds, soil, Co2, and more nutes.
3 days no watering is the right thing to do, but because of the drying according to your RH , won't affect the terps . For the terps try 12hrs + of darkness before the chop and chop in the dark avoiding any light during the cure
Congratulations on a successful first grow! Pistils on the stalk indicate superior robustness. She’ll do very well
You said any hints are welcome... please add white light other than camera flash to your photos. It’s tough to see what’s doing
The yellowing...I think they are just a little bit hungry (nitrogen deficient).
Overwatering usually manifests itself first by appearing as if your plant leaves have lost turgidity and droop...later you'd see yellowing after much drooping. But I can see you have a good water pressure in your leaves, so probably just a little N deficient. My Candy Canes have all been voracious eaters.
Thanks for the helpful information Silverback! I'm now entering the the flowering stage and will need to decrease nitrogen levels and temps/humidity. . I'll keep in mind higher N for next grow. :)
