Actually end week 7, not 8. Ricky will be a large harvest if I can make it to the final stretch with no bud rot or pests. So excited!
Julian had a deficiency earlier in her life, thus the bloom and height growth is a bit slower. (Should have Cal-max on day 14.)
Bubbles is in the cup. For example only. As a rookie I wanted to observe differences while growing. The small Size of plater, lack of oxygen, no support, less light, no drainage, sloppy water schedule... is definitely helping me learn about color change deficiency in leaves and stems.
Calyx is swelling all over. Managed to get 3 huge main cola with my LST. One branch looks massive. Pistils mostly white, last 2 days noticed some turning amber on tips. . Even some tiny trichomes!
@Alberta780, 40x minimum to start seeing the inside of the "heads" on the trykes , 60x is comfortable, 100x + if you want to travel to an alien π½ world - you got it BigA!
@Alberta780, k , tryches are visible at that range but you won't be able to see the "heads" , they might appear white but may be clear or even Amber and you won't be able to tell... Just trying to help !
Most definitely will do 12 hours off before the chop. I have a microscope with 100 1000 1600 settings. It involves cutting off pieces and putting into slides, and a ton of adjusting and lighting. I have seen milky trics. My 100x handheld should be here any day.
@Alberta780,i only know the comparison between nose and .. you know. "wie die Nase eines Mannes, so der Johannes". ... and yes indeed with size 12 , the Buds are very big
FFIW, that plant looks like it's has another 3 weeks to go at least. If it were mine right now, I'd completely defoliate her, put flowering nutes back in at around 800 ppm for at least another two weeks then. back to flushing if you want for another week or two. That's what it looks like to me anyway.
@@Freddd, gotcha will figure out that pdf and... do it myself and see your grow... all these experienced growers cant be that wrong right? pulling out my notepad let's see !
@CRiSPrGrow, The best way to sort through it is to not use your built in biases which are normal but to simply see for yourself. All the words in the world are meaningless if you eyes tell you differently. The best research is to go to that link in my post and check out the compact thread pdf that is a summary of the main thread. Check out my OG Kush grow, after defoliation. Remember the flowers also have small leaves. Remember also that that in an emergency, like sudden imminent death or defoliation the plant will naturally want to finish as much seed as possible that's what the whole purpose of the plant is.
@Alberta780,For me Good prepared Soil and Lights and Good genetic Seeds are the most efficient part of the Grow. Iam not so in Nutes^^... or only as much as needed, Enjoy your Harvest and after the grow is before the grow. let me know...
@Mrs_Larimar, just about to cure. Gets me baked! 1st plant smells a little like hay, but smooth smoke. Cure will help I think with hay smell.
Harvested #2. Nugs feel a bit more tighter and dense. Second plant 220 g wet. Should get a 2 more ounces dry. 5 ounces , 2 plants. Not bad. My next grows i have now are higher quality seeds, soil, Co2, and more nutes.
3 days no watering is the right thing to do, but because of the drying according to your RH , won't affect the terps . For the terps try 12hrs + of darkness before the chop and chop in the dark avoiding any light during the cure
Congratulations on a successful first grow! Pistils on the stalk indicate superior robustness. Sheβll do very well
You said any hints are welcome... please add white light other than camera flash to your photos. Itβs tough to see whatβs doing
The yellowing...I think they are just a little bit hungry (nitrogen deficient).
Overwatering usually manifests itself first by appearing as if your plant leaves have lost turgidity and droop...later you'd see yellowing after much drooping. But I can see you have a good water pressure in your leaves, so probably just a little N deficient. My Candy Canes have all been voracious eaters.
Thanks for the helpful information Silverback! I'm now entering the the flowering stage and will need to decrease nitrogen levels and temps/humidity. . I'll keep in mind higher N for next grow. :)
