Grow mates,
I have been sampling Cindy. As skinny assed as she is, for reasons previously explained, these girls are dank and sticky. Based on what kind of high I am getting and the amber trichomes I am seeing, she could be chopped today.
For the last run, I may have run Cindy too long. Her post cure effects were almost overwhelming. I don't think I am going to bulk these babies up by going much beyond the harvest opening window at F 56. The amber trichomes are quite dark. and @5% tops. After a vape or two, the head is still very clear and the effects are very strong, pre harvest, pre cure, like in mental phase shifting kind of way. She is very trippy without feeling like your brains crankshaft is broke.
Lighting is now tuned to 60/100/100. More blue less red increases resin and trichome production, so they say. I am testing.
Happy growing all.
@Mr_Positivo, ty. Ya 600w QB. I had hps/mh up until a couple years ago and the colas ever since have been huge especially with defoliate on 3rd wk of flowering.
@PlantParentHood, Agreed, your Cindy's are looking like they should. You're doing a really nice job. Congrats. Sounds like you are loving your Quantum Board.
How was wonderland? Super cool??? Iโm real jealous dude - got me some Humboldt beans in the line up. Should have some 707 headband up in about a month or so. Anything from out there is worth a look as far as Iโm concerned. Good luck with the bud cycle on this one - glad she made it through๐๐
Hi Bud,
Wonderland has recently moved to a new location that reminds me of a big general store in the middle of the redwoods, which it is. The dispensary is a new build within the store and cleverly done by a couple of young L.A. based architects. The Wonderland nursery itself is set up under the store on a lower level accessible from the back. It's discrete operation but no doubt conforming to the security needs and regs imposed by the state. Inside its an enfilade of clone rooms one after the other opening off the hallway. Its an all LED operation. Fluence full spectrum fixtures, as well as Kind LED strips. A nice bunch of guys. Kevin Jodrey is visionary no doubt and has big plans for the area. I believe they are looking to be the Napa of pot, Humbolt version. They have recently installed an airstrip, apparently.
Bud, your beans from the Humbolt seed company have to be good. The top talents in the area are all working together to advance the best genetics. Good luck with your grow. I'll be following along.
Iโm gonna give Cindy a go for sure now after that review. Very nice run dude, regardless of yield. If thereโs a limited ceiling on the high even better๐ Well done fo sho๐๐
@Tazard, Kind K5 XL 750. Took some getting used to but I like it now I know how to use it. Spectrum tuning is a plus and you can do that with this fixture.
If I was buying a new fixture, I would probably buy one that creates an evenly lit footprint. ie made up of bar lights configured in a grid.
Thanks for the kind words, Bud. Living in a concrete jungle as I do, my 'central park' gets its fair share of my OCD allotment as a result. Happy growing.๐๐
Hey Bud, Good to hear from you. I am little more in control of flower stage this run. Looking forward to seeing what the ladies will deliver. best wishes.
@MG2009, Kevin has a good brain to pick. He has produced many informative and inspiring vids which can be found on Youtube. You probably know about these already. Shango Los documents many of them. Do you follow?
I didn't meet him this visit. Met his son in the past, Jorge and his crew this time. Visits are by appointment only these days. It was a 3 hour trip out into the boonies to get there but so worth it. Some of the best genetics are to be found here, not surprisingly. Some of the cuts I have aren't available in seed form either so I am looking forward to growing them out. The guys were pretty excited by the Mac 1 clone. If they are excited, then so am I!! Cheers MG.
