germinateing 3 Blue cheese and 1 Critical. the blue cheese is already a few years laying around, i just want one but i am afraid of a bad germination rate because of that so i popped 3/10 for now. lets see how its going!
as always, first they soak a little, about a day, in PH 6 water and go straight into a jiffy after.
day 4 - at the start of the day the critical was already pokeing out the jiffy
day 5 - blue cheese still need some more time as expected because of their age. the critical getting the first light now :)
day 1 - they got into their first pots now. i mixed in a little grow fertilizer so that can start working now and be ready when the plants are. they got a friend over right now, his name is maple. found him in a pot on the balcony growing and gave him his own pot just for fun
day 4 - new equipment arrived today! so they have higher humidity now and also nome other new gadgets for the tent!
day 5 - finally got the tent free to go for the new plants! all set in the end tent now. humidity level is increased since yesterday because of the new dome and also they get light from the full spectrum LED instead of the Blue/red. Blue cheese seems to grow way diffrent than the critical! same exact time since seed was contacted with water but the critical is very tiny and huge if you compare it to the "funny" blue cheese. idk if i might have fucked the BC up, but i guess thats just the way she comes.
day 1 - the blue cheese is slowly picking up in speed but is in the same leaf progress as the much bigger critical. both are showing first sings of the 3rd leaf pair. still i think the blue cheese looks funny :)
day 5 - the critical is somehow haveing some hanging leafs out of nowhere :( i hope she just gets better by tomorrow and i will re pot her into her end pot then. the blue cheese can wait a little longer for that. also i applyed some bio bizz leaf coat after i saw she was hanging.
day 6 - blue cheese 6cm and critical 9cm. I will top the critical to buy some time for the BC to catch up tomorrow
day 7 - the critical got topped and now if the clone is fast enought i might put it into the same flowering run as the mothers plant. lets see, he is on 80%-85% RH now
day 2 - they got a younger sister. 13 days younger tripple G by RQS also. she gets her own diary because of age diffrence. already she kinda want to outgrow the bluecheese also lol
day 5 - the critical did not even care about topping and continues outgrowing the blue cheese by far in mass lol. might go for mainlineing like training methods for the critical.
day 7 - i cut the lower branches of the critical and i will give her a little lst by pushing the shoots down with my fingers multiple time per day. now the blue cheese also catched up with the critical in height and they are both about 11cm tall. also applyed some LST just today on the 2 main branches for a mainlineing setup. i dont know how far i will go in therms of mainlineing but it works really nice for compensateing the growth of the other plants
day 1 - the mini mainlineing seems to work out really nice! blue cheese also starting to really show its potential in growth now and i really enjoy that :)) gimme dat cheese
day 4 - applyed LST to the blue cheese today also and took some low supported branches away. also had first bgger defoliation on the critical and for sure re-adjusted the LST every now and then
day 1 - blue cheese got topped with the younger tripple G together today
day 6 - at the end of the day cycle i flipped them to flower cause the critical was forming flowers somehow?!?! idk why... maybe cause too many topping and LST/mailineing? anyway, they will go to flower now with the tripple G together. critical 28 cm, BC 18 cm in height
critical forming flowers the fastest, followed by the tripple G and then the blue cheese is the end of the light right now. but still the smell of the blue cheese impresses me the most at the moment and i really wanna know her taste laster on
flowering day 10 - you can see flowers stacking up good on all plants now. happy grower :)
flowering day 13 - i got Bud candy (advanced nutrients) and mixed 1ml/2L for 2 days. now again just plain water for a few days. i will apply bud candy like 2x per week and go up with the dosage on max. 1ml/1L critical is flowering pretty fast since the head start. hopeing the new tent arrives soon so i can give them more space. critical is now 50cm, blue cheese just 37 cm.
day 16 of flower - the critical has been killed. she hermed everywhere and also was goin into flower with 18 hours of light. yea, i also worked a bit on her and cut away stuff in the beginning of flower but that alone would not have lead to a herm with a good genetic in my opinion. no photo should just flower with 18 hours of light. some of the sacs are already opened and i hope for the best for the blue cheese and the tripple g wich where next to that herming plant :/
day 17 - i lollypopped them now and that was the last time i put my hands on the scissors until harvest time comes
sugar leafs starting to get the first trichomes. few days later than the tripple g but the smell is (even when it is more decent than the tripple g) much better for my taste
The smell seems to be more on the blueberry side of the genetics. still not strong but i keep you updated
fungus gnats came back this week. the summer and the 160W lamp are heating up the tent so i am opening it all day for better temperatures (29°)
i am not measuring the PH because the PH meter broke. got a new one on flowering day 31 and my tap water got a PH of above 8 now. i guess thats where the mangan deficency comes from.
had some manganese deficency in the last week because of not PH measureing and had to cut some ill leafs.
i am pretty sure we are produceing many seeds here..... anyway, lets see how the babys will be
manganese deficency is not stopping to continue. i defoliated the weak leafs 2x this week and it is still going. i am not going to do anything much more now beside defoliateing the weakest leafs
manganese deficency is really eating her up quiet a bit.... defoliateing every 2-3 days because i just have to... wont add anything more so lets see how she goes from here
