I started my very first grow at 19.05.24. I placed the seeds in a Peat Pallet inside a plastic box and made sure to let a slight crack open. I gave 3 sprays per plant every 12 hours with the spray bottle and closed the lid until the RH reached around 80% and kept the temperature between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Surprisingly Frosted Guave came as a twin. I had to remove the rest of the seed from the head of the bigger one. When I placed them into the final pot, I wanted to separate them but at the bottom I saw that they had only one root and a separation will end in death for one of them. So I decided to keep both alive and let Mother Nature decide who’s going to survive.
The plan was to place the plants outside on my balcony. Bough 5 30L-pots, filled them with 40% with Biobizz All-Mix, 40% Floragard Professional Grow-Mix and on top with 20% Biobizz Light-Mix. The idea was to avoid fertilizer, have an easy growing by just adding some water. But it didn’t worked out: first of all: the plants came a lot faster than I’ve expected. Second the weather forecast changed completely and while I was prepared for a sunny summer day weather, a was completely unprepared for a week of rain and temperatures under 10 degrees Celsius during the nights. So my Homeoffice became my growbox:
First I placed the pots on a sheet to cover the floor from damage. Second I installed a photoreflector. Then o positioned a dyson van which is rotating at speed Nr. 2. and I placed my Photo- Videolight LED from Godox to give them at least some light.
Watering: bevor placing the Peat Pallet inside the Soil, I sprayed a lot of water on the soil and waited around 10 minutes. After I was digging a small hole and placed the complete Peat Pallet into the soil (24.05). After 2 days I sprayed 90-100ml around the plant in 3 steps (33ml-20min-33ml-20min-33ml).
By End of the Week I ordered a Spiderfarmer Sf600 full spectrum LED with 75w wich should be enough support at the beginning.
