only 1 seed didn't cracked. 9 out of 10 are strong. added a meme photo just to join the meme contest :D i smoked fast buds autos before and man they are good and fast!!!
happy growing everyone
week 1 of veg everything is good . just fed them plain water till the end of this week that ill start feeding with 1/8 of dose
i have another run of feminized seeds near these autos and because of that i have to turn lights on for 12 hours a day so we don't interrupt other photo periodic girls, and i know autos can never reach their maximum potential with 12/12 light/dark but whatever happens is good.
week 2 every thing is ok . in the late days of this week i topped 7 of them to get 4 main branches for later to do LST on them.
feeding very very low ppm calcium to them
this week i started to feed them with very low values of base nutrients (calcium + micros and grow) with a little silicate and bent down the branches when they grow enough.
also as always did some cover cropping beside girls
this is the preflower week the white hairs are growing slowly. i added bloom boosters (bud ignitor and top-max) and raised dosage of base nutrients a little , girls responded very well ,(i know they can never reach their max potential because of 12 hours light schedule but lets see what they can do) .
in my grow strategy for autos i just top them and do LST just once to spread the branches a little and gonna let them grow just as they see fit from now on.
week intel:
every thing is good girls are growing and in the same time blooming .
stresses :
no stress
feeding:
i feed them 3 times this week with this order :
day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 700 ppm - 1.4 e.c to cause a little stress.
day 3 : i feed them normal dose with Bud ignitor + B-52 around 380 ppm - 0.7 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused.
day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max around 143 ppm - 0.3 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week.
guide of the week:
remember never feed them plain water besides the first week of germination always feed water with nutrients to feed them right p.h every time and to avoid excess water problems, and let them eat the previous meal for 24 hours and dry the soil, so at total only feeding nutrients 3 times a week other days let them dry and rest
week intel:
we are going through slowly
stresses :
just a little E.C stress around 1.4 once a week
feeding:
i feed them 3 times this week with this order :
day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 700 ppm - 1.4 e.c to cause a little stress.
day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster around 327 ppm - 0.64 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused.
day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 255 ppm - 0.5 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week.
guide of the week :
know your plant tolerance limit of E.C stress once you saw the very very little yellowing on tips of leaves , that's the sign to don't go further , never reach that limit if you want a high quality buds, in my case tolerance is 1.4 and i'll reach to that level only once a week to cause precision stress , love your plants and have a happy growing!
week intel:
it was the time to prune the cover crops this week i chopped them - no problem all good
stresses :
just a little E.C stress around 1.4 once a week
feeding:
i feed them 3 times this week with this order :
day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 707 ppm - 1.4 e.c to cause a little stress.
day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster around 275 ppm - 0.57 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused.
day 5 : i feed them with normal dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.42 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week.
guide of the week :
autos do so so so much better with 20 hours light per day pls dont run autos near femenized 1 of them must get sacrificed
week intel:
we reached the peak of flowering stage and need to cause a little more e.c stress from this week so e.c stress is twice a week
i reduced the amount of Nitrogen and calcium and stopped feeding silicate in other hand i raised the amount of base nutrient and booster
short story version: more K & P - less N
stresses :
a little E.C stress around 1 and 1.2 twice a week from this week
feeding:
i feed them 3 times this week with this order :
day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 566 ppm - 1.1 e.c to cause a little stress.
day 3 : i feed them low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 392 ppm - 0.7 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused.
day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 630 ppm - 1.2 e.c to cause e.c stress again
guide of the week :
e.c stress if done correctly is one of the very few ways to increase quality in all aspects ( color , aroma , taste , bud structure , resin contents ) but if you over do it , listen carefully brother : it can reduce quality in every aspect so always look for signs and never reach the red line
week intel:
we had some dear guests of family from foreign country to meet again after years so i had to make some free space for their stuff therefore girls are going to be gusts too for a week in their neighbors home :D some times unpredicted things happen you must be ready to change at any time , so i moved some and chopped off weak ones
stresses :
E.C stress around 1.2 3 times per week
feeding:
replaced b-52 with Bloom base nutrient
i feed them 3 times this week with this order :
day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 631 ppm - 1.2 e.c to cause a little stress.
day 3 : i feed them high dose of Top-Max + Bloom Base nutrient around 600 ppm - 1.2 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused.
day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 630 ppm - 1.2 e.c to cause stress this last week
guide of the week :
we are in the final phases of this run , i'm happy about quality but depressed about quantity :D
at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience.
my dry and cure style is this:
4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month.
buds are dense and frosty but very little in size!
i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them .
lesson from this grow :
grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.
