DonHugo Es ging eigentlich gut los, nach 60 Stunden haben sich beide durch die Erde gebraselt, aber beide sind die dämlichen Samen Kapseln nicht losgeworden. Habe jetzt vorsichtig die Kapseln entfernt. Kein optimaler Start, aber mal sehen was passiert.

DonHugo Second week, the brave little rascals, exposed to the most intense hardships early in their youth, are slowly but surely gaining vitality. I hope the trend continues, and I can compensate for the ordeal with a slightly longer growth phase. Day 9, moved into the 80 x 80 cm box, my new lamp arrived today, I'm over the moon. It's the beautiful Lightning Basic Evo 240w from LED Tech. Probably the best lamp in this price range, don't you think?

For the past 2-3 days, the leaves have been changing color, with very dark and light areas on some leaves. Did I catch something, or is this typical for Marshmallow OG?

Hello DonHugo, This is a magnesium deficiency. The leaves start to turn light green or on the veins and edges of lower and older leaves. This is because the plant is pulling magnesium from lower leaves to feed new growth. Often with this deficiency, the magnesium is present, but the roots cannot absorb the magnesium properly due to an improper pH value. Therefore it is very important to maintain the correct pH and make sure the pH does not get too low and acidic in order to avoid a magnesium deficiency. To solve this problem, keep the pH from your nutrient solution around pH 6,5 You can also add a Cal-Mag nutrient but please keep in mind that the pH value is most likely the issue here. Today a ton of leaves went over the edge, but everything is still quite busy. Next week there will be another round of defoliation, you shouldn't overdo it either.

DonHugo Third flowering week. All the OGs are doing well and can now produce buds undisturbed. Still having temperature issues, 28 degrees is not good at all. I'm resorting to grandma's analog solution and hanging a wet cloth in there, evaporation cooling and all... Mid 3rd flowering week, the OGs are for real and are really stepping it up, and I'm giving them nuts until they tip over. If they keep growing those buds diligently for the next 6-7 weeks, it could turn out to be a fabulous result. Let’s keep it rollin’! Day 60, OGs on the rise!! Despite the heat (30.5 degrees), the boys are really going strong!

DonHugo Here we go into the 4th week of flowering. The OGs are fully motivated and in great health. It's already starting to resin up a bit. Fingers crossed that it continues like this in the coming days and weeks. Let’s go OGs! Day 65, the OGs are taking off like a bat out of hell. Big thumbs up @compound genetics! Day 70, the 10th week is coming to an end and I have absolutely nothing to criticize. The buds are growing beautifully, resin is oozing from every pore, and they smell amazing!

DonHugo Into the 11th week. The OGs are insane. The smell is unique, the buds are plump and rock hard. And the best part is, they still have 4-5 weeks ahead of them. I'm as excited as can be to see what’s coming next. Day 74, there hasn't been a huge leap forward in the last few days, but all is good. The left one is starting to look a bit autumnal. Half of the flowering time is over.

DonHugo The OGs smell amazing, unbelievably good. Somehow the buds look riper than they should, still 2 weeks according to the package, but there are already some amber spots visible. I'm dying to harvest, but there are still 2 weeks to go. The good thing is, the buds keep getting fatter.

DonHugo Day 104/64, the first OG has been chopped. It was practically screaming to be harvested. Looks like a fat bounty and feels like one too. Day 105, the second OG is down. An emotional effort to take it down after 16 weeks. Day 106, the last OG has fallen. One of the best grows I've had. Big up to Compound Genetics, this strain is breathtaking, the taste is unique and something you remember once you've had it, and the high is… skyhigh! Marshmallow OG fanboy 4 life!!
