Very excited to start this grow! I love fast buds genetics! 1st time growing Mexican airlines. Dropped 3 beans into some water for 24hrs then into damp paper towels placed into zip lock bags and placed into try with heating mat. Kept the temp between 70-80 degrees. Beans popped in 2 days!! Soaked 2" rock wool cubes in clonex and great white solution and placed the beans in them and back into the tray.
It is day 8 since they popped. They are all looking pretty good. 1 of the 3 is tiny and has some color variegation on the leaves. I had a little trouble dialing in the environment but were ok now. I had a couple 8x8 rockwool left over so I cut them into 4x4 and popped the seedlings in after dusting the hole with some great white.
This week the 4" Rockwell cube's went into the 6" net pot lids and covered with hydroton and placed on 5gal buckets. Only 2 of 3 made it but they look good. Little on the pale side but they will green up.
Been a few weeks since the last update but everything is looking pretty good. Flowering is starting to take off and it appears that pheno 2 will be shorter and stockier than pheno 1.
I am very happy with how these are growing. Did a little stretch and are starting to thicken up nicely! Some nice aroma coming off the plants. Sweet fruity smelling. I'm starting to get anxious for harvest day!

Looks like 1 of the 3 have is going to be harvested in the next couple days. It has about 10% amber. I like to harvest a bit on the early side because my wife and I like the high better. We feel it is more energetic than couch lock when I let it go longer. I'll put some pics of pheno 3 up soon. I need to get her out of the tent to tend to her. Pheno 3 iis a couple weeks or so behind 1 and 2.
This is a great anytime high for me although it can get pretty intense it does not typically lock me to the couch. When I smoke this it puts me into a trance with whatever I am doing. Smoke this and do some trimming and you will understand what I mean. Its thought provoking, energetic and relaxing all at the same time. Possibly my favorite smoke now!
- Pheno 1 = 127gr wet - 45gr dry
- pheno 2 = 275gr wet - 86gr dry
- pheno 3 = 224gr wet - 74gr dry
- 10% amber trichomes
I like a slightly early harvest. The high is much more to my liking!
- will use dehydrator at 95* for 48hrs then place in jars and burp for 1wk. Don't knock it till you try it.
