Seem fine to me. If you have a spot that consistently gets condensation that you can't avoid simply by bending or shaping some leaves, that would be a good leaf to remove.
Defoliation, technically, means blindly removing X% of leaves regardless of reason. You should only selectively prune leaves off when you have a very good reason to do so.
