Lots done this week.
First thing, I trimmed the largest leaves in order to get more light to the rest of the plant. The plant is still growing a lot centrally, and is acting a lot like an auto (it’s from seed). If you look at the photos, you can see how all of the new growth is crowding the middle part of the plant. As a result, I think this plant will respond extremely well to scrogging.
Second, I fimmed the main stalk at the 3rd node; with all of the side growth going on that I talked about in the previous paragraph, I should see a considerable increase in growth once the plant recovers. I expect to fim at least once more across the entire plant.
Third, I built my scrog netting. It was the same process as before; cut 1/2” pvc to 2.5 ft long, attach corners, drill holes at 2” marks. Thread first side with twine, then weave second side to create 2” openings. Adjust openings by hand to proper size. Netting is hung about 4” above the canopy. Hopefully the new growth will hit the netting in a week or two.
Temps and humidity have leveled out as expected after moving into the larger tent. I’m seeing lots of 77°F and 80°F temps, which is a lot better than what I had been seeing in the smaller tent. Humidity is being managed by adjusting the flow of exhaust from the charcoal filter with a homemade baffle.
I might have overwatered early in the week. As a result, I’m going to wait until it starts to droop before next watering. And I also expect to increase nutrients to 2 tsp/ gal.
Update: I did some figuring and realized that I’ve been updating about every 5 days, which means I’m actually on growth day 26 (almost week 4).
