Silicate is in grams - 4g/10L
Last week mix
28/06 - did not water :(
29/06 - fertigated with 310ml, 125ml runoff EC 1.1
30/06 - fertigated with 200ml, 130ml runoff EC 1.0; Turned up the light to 470 ppfd
01/07 - fertigated with 250ml, 100ml runoff EC 1.0
02/07 - fertigated with 200ml, 140ml runoff EC 1.4 (huge spike in runoff EC); Measured the Mix EC and it spiked to 1.4/1.5. pH also raised.
New Mix (03/07)- Same as the previous week. 2L tap water-0.8g Si - 3ml CalMag - 2.4ml Micro - 3.6ml Grow - 1.2ml Bloom - Check EC (1.6) - Dilute (+0.75L tap water) - EC (1.3) - Adjust pH (0.6g pH-) - Final pH (5.5 to 6.0)
03/07 - fertigated with 250ml, 150ml runoff EC 1.5; Turned up the light to 580 ppfd
04/07 - fertigated with 250ml, 100ml runoff EC 1.1(?)
At day 04/07 the mix I had prepared at day 3 was lower in EC than before (~1.0). I think my EC meter is not giving me consistent readings. Might be a problem in the future. Because of this I'll continue to fertigate with low doses of nutrients and pay attention to the plants reaction more than the EC values. I'll try to solve this and also build an automatic fertigation and runoff colector system so that I can fertigate more often.
I think she is ready to be topped :) Will do it in the next 1 to 2 days.
@trazom85, hello, it was a 3.8L until the end of week 5, then I transplanted to a 3 gallon (~11 liter) that lasted until the end of the grow. You don't really need bigger pots when using a drain to waste hydroponic system, the only advantage you can get is fertigating less often.
