Diary of the Month April 2025

@HippyHemulen, @GrowDiaries, No joking! There is no way they looked through them all. Familiar names, a few approved ones, and whoever dumped the most words on their diaries. I don't know about this one anymore. I see pixelated pictures, low yields, and even loose buds on half of the winners. Who is actually picking these, and what are the actual qualifications... lmao There are diaries with double the views, double the comments, better pictures, better yields, and also approved by vendors. DotM is wild. Notice how not a single EGC25 diary has been picked. Wonder if they'll throw in one in May just for fun. Should really look into bringing any type of community engagement in with the voting. Otherwise yall could just give out seeds to who you see fit (or heck, just keep em for the GD team at that point) and not even have the guise of an open competition. Seriously, this is supposed to be your premier recurring competition and anyone who sticks around on the site for more than three months seems to land on the same opinion.

@ATLien415, We choose DOtM based on the rules stressed in the contest description, plus additional parameters - the diaries that have more fields filled in (nutrients, lights, substrate, etc.), number of content and the quality of harvest. Does that make sense?

@ATLien415, i put a lot of work into my diaries as do a lot of others on this site. Yeah I have placed for the last few months in this comp but that means my hard work is paying off.
