Since i got very high temps and a small growspace in my apartment during summer, i decided to do another indoor automatics run. I didn't want to grow indoors after the heat last year, but the weather is still not stable and we got a lot of rain. So i'm just gonna do both again. I'll run the same strains indoors and outdoors and see how they do.
So for this run i got the following strains:
- Tangie from Fast Buds - I'm just curious about the taste. I heard alot from tangie but was never able to test it, so here we go!
- Lemon Haze from Barneys - One of the favourite strains of my wife and the last barneys auto run was really good.
- Sour Ripper Auto from Ripper Seeds - I still want my sour ripper! After the failed last run i'll try my luck with the auto version.
- Radical Juice from Ripper Seeds - I planted these as a backup version as a runner up if germination fails. And i got 8 pittyful grams from my last outdoor run, so i want to try again.
I plan to run a maximum of 5 plants indoor and 3 plants outdoor.
I water the seeds for 24 hours and plant them into a starter, as soon as the seeds are sprouted i'll plant them into pots. We have some stormy weather ahead, so i'm gonna keep them all indoors for the first 1-2 weeks and then i'll have them split for the rest of the run.
Happy growing and a lot of sun! 🌱🌞🍀
So i planted the seedstartera in their final container and let them chill and grow. I'm very unlucky with the sour ripper. None of the seeds germinated. So its great to have the radical juice as a runner up.
So indoors we got 2x Tangie Auto, 2x Lemon Haze Auto and 1x Radical Juice Auto. We'll see how it goes 😁 Happy growing! 🌱🌞🍀
Here we are at week 2 of my indoors automatics run 2024! We are having the worst summer in years, which is great for my indoor run. Temps in the tent are between 24° and 28°, Humidity around 60-70%.
They are doing quite good in their new pots and they showed some good growth during this week. I watered them every few days with root juice and some microbes to encourage root growth. Besides that i didn't do anything with them. Just letting them settle in and making them feel as comfy as possible.
When they get a little more height and size i'll start with LST, but i guess i won't stress them this early.
One of the Lemon Haze Auto is still very small, the other one seems to do fine. I'm happy with this week! Lets see how it goes on. Happy growing folks 🌱🌞🍀
So here we are at week number foooour! The weather has been pretty hot the last week, so the girls got to deal with temperatures above 30° during the day. But they do quite well and do not seem to mind that much about it.
I started introducing them to nutes, the radical juice auto is a sensitive one but the tangies and the lemon haze autos really like it. They started yellowing pretty fast at the base, but recovered fine.
I plucked some big fanleaves and did some LST during the last week. Things are looking fine so far! Happy growing 🌱🌞🍀
We officially arrived at week Nr 5!
The girls are starting to form some buds and things are looking quite good. The radical juice still does bot like any nutes and claws like a champ. I fed her with plain water and will adjust when she relaxes a bit.
Temps get as high as 35° in the tent and i have no way to cool it down, so they have to take it. And they do pretty well.
Lets hope it stays like this and the flowering phase is gonna be a breeze. 😁🌱🌞🍀
We entered Week 7 of this run. Temps are getting a bit out of hand with temps between 30 and 35°, but they do okay.
Soil PH is too high in the Tangie-pots, so i try to adjust over the next waterings. So some yellowing is going on, but i think it will be fine. 😊 I'll give em some more love this week.
Welcime to week 7! Its way too hot. We got between 31° and 34° indoors, so the plants are suffering a little. But i got no way other than wet towels and fans to cool down the tent. So they just have to take it and for my taste they do pretty good so far. We'll see 😊 🌱🌞🍀
Here we are at week 8 of this indoor summer automatics run. The heatwave has passed for the moment and i can finally get the temperatures under 30° again.
The plants are still looking okay. One of the tangies has some rustspots/yellowing/crispy leaves going on, while the other does fine. Don't know what it it, but i'll just ignore it for the moment.
The rest seems to do good. Time for the buds to fatten up. 🌱🌞🍀
Another week in the bags and its looking not too bad. One of the tangies got some crispy leaves and the radical juice auto is done soon. So i guess we are entering the last phase of this run. At the moment it seems that we got 2-3 weeks to go max.
So this will be the last week of nutrients. Next week they'll get only water. Happy growing 🌱🌞🍀
So because i need the tent for drying, i decided to chop these girls. They are just in their harvest window, but i'd let them go for another couple of days if i could.
I'll hang them whole because i think its so warm that i have to look out for not drying them too fast. Overall i'm pretty happy with this run and curious how much they'll yield.
Dried them for 11 Days and trimmes them today. They were a pain to trim because they are pretty leafy, but the smell is just amazing. I love this mix of a really strong and fresh lemon aroma and this nice haze scent! I'll cure them for 2 weeks minimum. Can't wait! 🌱🌞🍀
I dried them for 11 days, trimmed them and packed them up for curing. They chill now in their jars, getting burped three times a day and will stay there for the next two weeks. Then i'll report back for the smoke check! Happy growing 🌱🌞🍀
Dried her for 11 days, trimmed and packed her up for curing. Very special budstructure but loads of crystals. The smell is mouthwatering! Strong tropical flavours, a real nostrilpleaser! Can't wait to smoke it!
