Welcome back to our Gary Payton grow diary! As we transition into Week 2, our Gary Payton plants are showing promising signs of growth. This balanced hybrid is renowned for its robust development, thick resin production, and complex aroma profile, which combines sweet, earthy notes with subtle hints of coffee and spices. Week 2 Highlights: Both seedlings are thriving in their current pots, and their leaves are expanding, showing a more defined structure. Their vibrant green color indicates healthy growth and potential for future development. The plants are focusing on establishing a strong root system. This crucial phase sets the foundation for future growth and ensures that they can absorb nutrients effectively. Initial leaf growth is evident, with the plants showing healthy, vibrant green leaves. This is a positive indicator of their potential as they move towards the vegetative stage. We have upgraded the growing environment to a TrolMaster-controlled 4x4 tent. This new setup allows for precise control over light, temperature, and humidity, ensuring optimal conditions for the plants. The reflective material in the tent helps to maximize light distribution, promoting even growth. Upcoming Plans: In the coming weeks, we will begin topping and training the plants using the SCROG (Screen of Green) method. This technique helps in managing the plant's height, ensuring better light distribution, and promoting higher yields. We'll start introducing a nutrient schedule tailored to support vegetative growth. Balanced feeding will be crucial to maintaining the plant's health and vigor. The seedlings will remain in their current pots until Week 5, allowing them ample time to establish a strong root system before being transplanted into their 12.5L permanent homes. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey with our Gary Payton plants. Stay lifted, Salokin

@WhiteEdge, will post the current run once it’s finished. This one I couldn’t update anymore due to website issues. On insta you’ll see some recent projects.

@Still_Smoq, thank you buddy:) they are getting greener now/darker. Must be that other soil I’m playing with. Drainage is much better than the all mix, but it seems to be causing issues, as I now need tonlos after ph in my organic grow….

pH is very important!

@nonick123, absolutely right, I usually always ph, but somehow got away with not doing it in the biobizz all mix & plagron combination. The entire Anesia run nothing was ph‘d or ec‘d same for my other tent right now. Just didn’t like the thought of putting my ph meter in that alga line from plagron, but doing it now and it seems to be working…..
