If 24/0 light is so harmful, why do so many photoperiod and auto growers use it successfully during early veg — with healthy growth and zero signs of stress?

Glaube nicht das es schädlich ist, der einzige Vorteil den ich sehe bei 18/6 oder anderen Licht Zyklen ist das man Strom spart und das die Pflanzen im Dunkeln verschiedene Stoffwechsel durchführen. Und sich in dieser Phase erholen. Es ist aber natürlich möglich mit 24/0 zu growen ohne das die Pflanzen sterben habe beides schon gemacht. Bei mir bleibt es im Moment bei 18/6 werde aber kurz vor der Blüte auf 20/4 gehen und dann nach 2 Wochen in 12/12. Meine Kollege macht seit Jahren 24/0 und hat immer gute ernten, also funktioniert es auch.

But she’s showing me something else, and I’m not here to fight her — just guide her. Now after stretch, I’m keeping side shoots only if they: Fill real canopy gaps Don’t crowd neighboring tops (minimum 15cm spacing) Aren’t growing into walls or toward the next plant Anything too close, too low, or heading into shade gets removed. No point forcing it. Looks like I’ll finish with 14–16 solid tops, depending on how she settles. I’m just trying to give each one enough light and space to stack properly. No overcrowding, no larf — just letting her do her thing with a bit of structure. Now after stretch, I’m keeping side shoots only if they: Fill real canopy gaps Don’t crowd neighboring tops (minimum 15cm spacing) Aren’t growing into walls or toward the next plant Anything too close, too low, or heading into shade gets removed. No point forcing it. Looks like I’ll finish with 14–16 solid tops, depending on how she settles. I’m just trying to give each one enough light and space to stack properly. Just curious what others think, I’ve never done it this way myself. I usually reduce the entire nutrient mix at some point during late flower instead of phasing out individual parts. Would love to hear your approach and why you do it that way 🙏

@Foffy, I don't operate them when they are still at this mini size to try and keep the humidity high, but yeah I generally point them directly on my plants, it helps with strong branches and in general for a stronger structure later in flowering. I do "hit" and play with them a bit to make a stronger stem in the meantime, that's what I'm doing in the video.

@Foffy, i dette tilfælde ja:) ellers tager den alt for meget luft for oven ;) har et stort telt/større i samme rum der er den osse oven på teltet, men det telt står utroligt tæt på vinduet som sidder forholdsvis højt så der giver det rigtig god cirkulation:-)( i hvert fald til mit brug;)

@Grievous, I'll check it out growmie 🤞 Liked the Autoflowering version from RQS as well, biggest Autoflowering yield I had yet, first phenotype/grow was perfect, second one yielded more but not "usable" buds and was a bit dull, could be on me though lol, she did get neglected the second time around. @Fatnastyz, I'm glad you liked it growmie 🙏❤️ Just be as thorough as possible when washing it out, hot water works best and chop the roots down as small as you can. I usually get 3 runs out of it before I need to break up another coco brick.✌️♥️

Ah man thanks for that lil tip for reusing coco. Just getting started using that and was looking into how to reuse. Great to know I don't have to go sifting out the roots aswell as the recharging process u use. Appreciate that. Definitely gonna come in handy !!

@Grow4Releaf, glad it helped bro! I’ve been doing it like that for a while, saves time and headache. No need to dig out all the roots, just rinse, recharge, and back in. I was a bit sloppy with germination this round though, so I’ll need a little luck to balance it out lol.

@Grow4Releaf, Coco coir you should be able to use it 3 times before needing to break another brick if done this way, I got away with using it more times than that but it ain't Coco coir anymore after the 3rd time it's more organic and more unpredictable, of course it's debatable, see you around growmie ✌️♥️
