Alright everybody,
We’re on too another batch of plants! This time the main journal is going to be some of Fastbuds newest releases.. the Lemon AK47.
I’ve grown a lot of indica doms lately and built up a nice stockpile(especially after my last harvest of 21oz). I decided it’s time to grow some sativa doms to get a better selection of cannabis.
So I started this grow the same way I’ve done all my others , I place the seeds in a damp paper towel and then put that in a plastic bag. Then that’s placed in a dark, warm spot next to my fridge. After a couple days typically the root tail has cracked open.. then I place them in 1”x1” rockwool cubes. I soak the rockwool cubes at 5.5ph as per directions and then place the germinated seed. At this point I typically burry the rockwool cube into the final pot of Coco Coir medium. Just below the surface of the coco and within another 1-2 days I usually have a healthy seedling.
This grow is just getting on its feet and the plants are still tiny. I have them under 200w of COBs currently. I’m hoping for another killer run in this tent with all the upgraded stuff and enhanced knowledge. I’m going too follow my own guide from my last harvest since it worked pretty damn good.
I also added some new nutrient supplements to the line up for this grow. I decided to add the ‘Green Planet’ line of boosters - I heard great things about these and liked the company’s pitch on YouTube plus they’re Canadian too, so I’m down to support a local business 🇨🇦 I’m hoping this will further improve upon my base of knowledge and grow some kick ass plants !
Thanks for stopping by this week !

So this is the start of week 2 for these ladies.
They are looking pretty good so far ! The two smaller plants are lush green and vibrant. The bigger seedling seems to have got a bit of leaf burn on early growth from the nutrients, I’m assuming it’s rapid growth pulled up more than the other plants because they show no signs of anything.
The grow room is a bit cooler now as it’s December and I’m in Canada.. so it’s a little bit chilly in the basement where my set up is located. The 200w of COBs put out enough heat to keep it at 70F, but it looks to be dropping as low as 66F in the night. I’m interested to see if a few degrees lower in temperate will have any significant impact on the growing environment.
It should be cool to see how these plants develop in the end. I’m planning on doing more LST on these girls, it’s something I’ve gotten pretty good at over the years of experimenting.
I’m hoping to get some monster plants this time.. I upgraded to four plants in 5gallon fabric pots with 70%coco/30%perlite. I noticed a dramatic change on my last series of journals when I moved away from soil and started using Coco Coir. The only drawback to this is that coco has more maintenance required with daily waterings it seems... but you can easily reuse it for a few grows so that’s actually a huge positive !
Thanks for checking out this week.

Ok this week I decided to start the LST training on the plants. LST is my preferred method of training autos and it always seems to give me great results. It’s super easy to do and I even have a guide I made on a different journal if you want to check that info out.
The plants have gotten much bigger now and are looking great ! They are healthy and vibrant and hopefully down the road will give me some nice weed.
I have do to some bathroom renovations around the house to finish ( I’m a DIY guy lol) and got projects at work as well. So the next couple weeks are going to be swamped .... hopefully all goes well it’s kind of bad timing for when these plants are gonna need the most attention. See what happens !

Well.. I’ve been slacking.. on these journals at least. I’ve been super busy doing some house renovations and came down with a very bad sinus infection .. so needless to say these journals fell to the back burner.
It was a struggle to remember to water the plants I was so exhausted. Luckily by choosing to upgrade to 5gallon coco pots, I was able to leave it for 2-3 days before the plants started drooping.
Not the ideal grow experience but the plants didn’t seem to suffer much, other than a few yellowed leaves at the bottom which don’t matter anyways. It may have stunted some potential growth but over all the plants still look healthy.
They are just entering flower this week and pistols are starting to form all over the bud sights. As you can see, I didn’t do as much planned LST but I was able to get some done earlier while the plants were still flexible enough.
Here’s hoping for some nice flowers !

These three lovely ladies are doing great. They’re looking sexy and getting a great scent to them .. it’s getting stronger every time I check on the Garden!
I’m excited for these girls to get deeper into flower and see what these AK47 buds are going to look like! The girls look healthy and vibrant , two of the three plants are almost identical. One of them is a bit shorter and stockier looking showing more indica-ish traits compared to its siblings.
So far I’ve been pretty impressed with Green Planet Nutrients. It was getting a bit confusing with all the additives at similar doses so I just simplified it and made most of them 5ml/g or 15ml/g. I don’t think it will make much difference being down a ml or two onna couple nutes each watering.
Kept the PH range between 5.7-6.0 and im giving each plant 1 Gallon of water every other day. It’s a big improvement using 5gallon coco pots compared to 3gallons.. You don’t need to be as diligent with consistent waterings every day.
Well these ladies are really forming up great now! The buds are getting thick and stinky. It seems like every time I check on her she’s fattened up!
I think I need to water a bit more consistently with these coco pots , as I shouldn’t be getting yellowing this early into flowering. I
Know my PH and nutes are on point , so it has to be a lockout happening due to me not giving the coco an extra 10-20% run off each watering. A little lazy and busy I guess .. whoops , well I’ll get it fixed up soon I think. Maybe defoliate some yellow leaves as they’re just dead weight now ..
Stay tuned for More updates in the future ! Thanks for watching my journals !!! :)

This week the plants got a trim of all the old yellow leaves that got fried by some nutrient lockout plus I removed the older damaged leaves at the bottom that weren’t getting much light.
This really opened up the plant and let’s in lots of light to the bud spots. The nugs are getting super juicy now , smells very citrusy and the flowers are very sticky as well!
I’m hoping it will give me some large yields of dank ass bud to Vape, bong rip and dab !
The nugs and plants however look basically no worse for wear despite the lockout issues earlier in the grow.... the buds are stacked and solid now. It’s smelling delicious in the garden as well. It’s a very sour citrus smell at the moment. The pistols are starting to turn red so it’s time to check the trichomes soon.
It will likely be put into flush soon too..! Super pumped !! 👍🏻👌🏻🔥
Ok so this week these ladies are getting the final flush and are super close to harvest now! The tent smells like a very citrus sour smell .. definitely reminds me of a lemon !! So far it’s spot on for scent 👌🏻
The buds are also stacking very nicely and look frosty and pretty dense. The nugs are also super sticky I think that’s maybe from the Rezin additive by Green Planet but it could just be these genetics.
The FastBuds line up continues to impress me with each grow. The speed at which the plants develop is really quite quick and the plants have basically all produced at least AAA+ quality buds, some of the top buds I’d consider AAAA grade in my opinion. So I’m hoping for more of the same with these girls .. it looks like they won’t disappoint !!
Over all.. super excited to be finished with this grow , soon to be harvested, were in the final stages of flush now... looking forward to getting some photoperiod plants started for a new experience soon!
The smoke on these buds is really pleasant. It has a nice citrus smooth taste after cure. It is about a 60% sativa is my guess so it’s a good day time smoke but once you start to hit it heavy it shifts from a balanced high to a more sedative stony type high. It’s been a great addition to the rotation and I enjoy these buds a lot. I would highly recommend them! It seemed pretty simple to grow and got me very nice yields. The three plants got me 16 Oz of bud ! 👌🏻
Wow ! Great to harvest another batch of ladies! These ones turned out just as special as my other recent ventures. The yields were spectacular, the buds were frosty and smell was dank!
The AK47 came out very nice indeed, it has a beautiful citrusy sour smell to it , definitely reminiscent of a Lemon ! It has a very pleasant smooth smoke to it and burns to a clean white ash, bong hits are enjoyable any time of day!
The Rosin pressed from these nugs is not especially high yielding but it is some of the most delicious fresh pressed extracts. It is very potent and delivers powerful flavours with effects to match.
The three plants got lightly trained with LST over the course of a few weeks. I will admit I didn’t not give this grow my 100% attention but it still managed to come out fantastic with some TLC in the last few weeks ! 👌🏻
Fastbuds continues to deliver amazing auto flowers. The plants grown in the optimal conditions can have incredible results, I was able to achieve over 5.5oz of dried bud per plant..! I am impressed with that !
I would recommend giving this strain a grow, it’s a nice 60% sativa but keep hitting her and you get nice melllowed indica type feelings.
Keep up the great work fast buds !
Thank you to everybody who checks out
My journals! Love your support !!

Only 5.6oz/plant and u entering DOTM like some kinda king shit... I expected better from u dude😂😂😂! Wow buddy, in all seriousness that’s a terrific haul. BTW - took the advice and upgraded to cree cobs and a bigger space👍. Def. hoping for similar results bud. Good luck - think U got a winner this month.👊
3 quick questions 1.did you use the recommended amount of terpinator? 2.do you really believe that it helps with the smell does it make a difference? 3.and when you added it to the water did you add it with the nutrients in the same container or did you add it separately?
