2 of 2 seeds germinated. I used the paper towel method and then set them in these transparent pots with Promix. They both broke dirt within 24 hours and are looking healthy.
Week one and I was able to transplant these girls from their transparent starter pots filled with Pro-mix to their 5 gallon pots with coco coir. They had a well developed root system, so we are off to a great start 😎

Week 3 and they have doubled in size. They have had no deficiencies and so far this has been an easy grow. If they keep growing like this I’m sure I’ll be able to LST in a few days.
This week they have grown another 6 inches and have a light smell 😁 Today I defoliated and started low stress training.
I also added side lights (AC Infinity Ionbeam S16) in the tent, which I just recently purchased, and curious to see if they make much of a difference.
I have increased from 1/2 gallon per plant every other day, to a full gallon per plant every other day. They have had no signs of deficiencies so far. This coming week I will probably top dress the soil again with seaweed powder as well.
We’ve had some gnats with the heat and humidity where we live, but I turned on the lighted insect trap (Katchy) in the tent and that’s seemed to resolve.

Flowering now and still stretching. Been pouring the nutes to them this week and watering daily. The side lights seem to be helping overall and I can definitely tell a difference in the undergrowth. I’m still using LST, just readjusting as they grow.
These girls have grown a quite a bit more over the week. They are, for the most part, done with veg and are just filling in their flowers.
The side lights that I added to the tent seem to be making a big difference, with thicker growth then I usually see at this stage.

Had to do one more round of defoliation and they seem to be happy with it.
Saw a slight nitrogen deficiency starting, but cranked the nutes again and they’re good to go.
The smell is a lot stronger this week.
Very happy so far with this grow and I can’t wait to see them finish.

Looking great this week and much progress! Trichromes are half/half clear and cloudy. So I will probably start flushing them in the next few days.
BIG changes this week. We’re all finished up and sitting in darkness for the next 48 hours. Both ladies are all cloudy with some amber sprinkles throughout. I love all the colors she’s put on! 🍀😍
Overall very happy with this grow. Been looking for this old school flavor for years and I think this will get pretty close.
Easy to grow and not very high maintenance ladies. They seemed to like defoliation and LST.
Beautiful colors, loaded with trichomes, and dense buds.
In total, 6 ounces dry weight. I’ll update the smoke once it’s had time to cure.

Wet trimmed these ladies and hung them to dry, took about 6 days to be ready for the jars. Nice dense buds and they smell fantastic. We were chasing that old school flavor and I think we got pretty close here. In total, 6 ounces dry weight. Overall very happy with this grow!
