THURSDAY 12/13:
After killing half my CC's, I decided to float 3 x Seedsman Amnesia Autos.
FRIDAY:
All three beans sunk and I put them into a wet paper towel.
SATURDAY:
Not ready to plant yet..
SUNDAY:
I planted them in 3 gallon containers.
MONDAY:
All 3 of them already emerged, but one of them hasn't fully opened up yet.👍
TUESDAY:
All three are standing at attention and doin' their thang.😀
WEDNESDAY:
The first two to emerge both have their first set of leaves now..actual day 1 of week 1 begins tomorrow.
------------------------------------------------------------
THURSDAY 12/20 - Day 1
All three Amnesia seedlings are standing at attention and have their first set of leaves. I added another 220w of cool white light and moved my 4.5L cool-mist humidifier into their tent today.
FRIDAY:
growing..one has malformed leaves..
SATURDAY:
growing..
SUNDAY:
growing..
MONDAY:
growing..
Christmas Day:
growing..
FRIDAY 12/28:
2 of the three Amnesia seedlings are now in the big tent. I'll probably move the other one tomorrow. She's doing well now. I fed the two graduates each about 1/5 gallon today with their first dose of veg nutes.
SATURDAY:
I graduated the last Amnesia to the big tent today.
SUNDAY:
I watered them today pretty well, with bonus calimagic and bud candy.
Started foliar feeding with full-strength flower's kiss plus a little armor si.
MONDAY:
I foliar fed a couple times. I added another new Exhale bag to the tent on Sunday and my avg CO2 went up to almost 1400, so I lowered their lights a little bit.
TUESDAY:
I foliar fed them a few times, but they were still moist so waiting to feed til tomorrow.
WEDNESDAY:
I watered them today with some boomerang, bud candy, and calimagic.
I FIM'd the two bigger Amnesias today and foliar fed them all a few times.
THURSDAY:
I foliar fed them and gave them each a splash of ph'd water with bud candy and boomerang.
FRIDAY 1/4:
I foliar fed them a few times and FIM'd the 3rd Amnesia today. Then, I named them:
Agnes
Agatha
Alma
MONDAY:
I fed them about a half gallon each of all the good stuff and foliar fed a few times.
Agnes and Agatha have gone crazy with their branches over the last couple of days since I FIM'd them. 👍
They've got some massive fan leaves that require constant tucking..
TUESDAY:
I FIM'd Alma today and foliar fed them a few times.
FRIDAY 1/12:
Agnes and Agatha are growing quickly now and both are flowering. Alma is catching up, but yet to show me any pistils. Today I fed them about 1/2 gallon each of full-strength veg nutes. I'll add some Open Sesame to their water in a couple days.
SATURDAY:
I foliar fed them a few times and measured them...Agnes and Agatha are really starting to stretch now.👍
SUNDAY:
Budding up nicely now..
MONDAY:
Still stretching...
TUESDAY 1/15:
MuthaPHucking PH fluctuations again!!!!! 😖
I calibrate my 2 cheapo- ph pens everymotherPHucking day and STILL it happens....PHuck the dumb shit....I just ordered a $100+ Apera tester.👈
I watered them with about a half-gallon of water, plus heavy boomerang and calimagic, some bud candy, some terpinator, some kelp me kelp you, some armor silica, and their first dose of open sesame..no big bloom or grow big for either of them.
WEDNESDAY:
Agnes has been showing me signs of nitrogen toxicity for a couple days, but nobody else in the garden is...guess she's sensitive. I've already cut back on N, so I think maybe I'll flush her with sledgehammer at next water. Agatha was the first to protest about the PH fluctuations, but her newer growth looks okay. Alma is budding well now but still yet to stretch.
FRIDAY 1/18:
I flushed Agnes with a gallon of sledgehammer plus calimagic, and fed a half-gallon of nutes to Agatha and Alma.
SATURDAY:
Foliar fed a few times.
Agnes still looks like shit..
SUNDAY:
I foliar fed them a few times.
I'm gonna transplant Agnes into a 5 gallon pot tomorrow. She must have root problems. I hate transplanting after they've been in flower this long, but I see no way around it if she's gonna produce any decent buds for me.
MONDAY:
I foliar fed them a few times today. I mixed up some happy frog soil and coco coir at about a 3:1 ratio, then mixed in about 4 cups of perlite and some bat guano, then transplanted Agnes into a 5 gallon fabric pot using that lighter mix to fill the pot. I watered her in with some flower's kiss foliar fert...hope she likes it.🙏
TUESDAY 1/22:
I watered Alma and Agatha with about a third-gallon including calimagic, bud candy, kelp me kelp you, terpinator, armor si, and a little boomerang. I gave Agatha the same stuff, but with a half-gallon of water. She still looks like shit, but I'm optimistic that she'll recover now that she has room to spread her roots.🙏
THURSDAY:
I'm a lot less optimistic that Agnes will recover now...seeing no improvement. She continues to put on pistils, but slowly. She just doesn't have the foliage necessary to make it deep into flowering. Both of the smaller Amnesias are looking good.
FRIDAY:
I fed Agatha and Alma about a half-gallon each today and started them on beastie bloomz. I fed Agatha about a half-gallon with some boomerang, extra kelp, and weak flowering nutes. She'll lose most of her foliage over the next few days, but some of the lower branches are still green and a little bit turgid, so maybe she'll hang in there long enough to fatten up her buds some more.🙏
SATURDAY:
Busy day...aside from monitoring with the nanny-cam and refilling the evap cooler I neglected them entirely.
TUESDAY:
I didn't have access to the garden for about 24 hours and during that time a power strip breaker popped and I lost the main light, oscillating fan, intake fan, and main exhaust fan. The two 85w individual bar lights and the duct booster fan I use as a secondary exhaust in the top of the tent were all that was running normally...and the evaporative cooler which was basically functioning as a fan for half the time because I wasn't able to refill it.
Because the smaller (240cfm) exhaust fan runs at all times, negative pressure was maintained and very cold outside air continued to be passively drawn into the tent. This caused the tent temperature to stay around 64f the entire time, with 60%RH...acceptable, considering how bad it could have been.
Agatha got about half of her normal dose of uMols, but Alma and Agnes were under a big, dark cloud.😕
On a positive note, they did all seem to grow pretty well despite the problem..maybe because my avg CO2 ppms was almost 1300 the whole time.
I'm calling it a cold/cloudy day in paradise..
A vehement warning that "Winter is coming..."😮
Obviously, they didn't need watering today...
WEDNESDAY:
I watered them with about 1/3 gallon, plus calimagic, bud candy, terpinator and
some beastie bloomz.
SATURDAY:
I fed them about a half-gallon of all the good stuff.
SUNDAY:
I had to raise the lights a little bit..seeing signs of light burn.
TUESDAY 2/5:
Even with the light burn last week and the horrible root problems that affected Agnes in week 4, I think they'll still yield pretty well. Close-up photos revealed that I've only got time to feed them a couple more times before I start to flush them...their trichromes are at least 25% cloudy now.👌
WEDNESDAY:
Fed them 1/3 gallon
FRIDAY:
Watered them 1/3 gallon
SUNDAY:
Took some photos and ogled them 😍
TUESDAY:
I'm definitely gonna start flushing them tomorrow. I'm seeing 50%+ cloudy trichs and 5-10% ambers now on all 3 of them.👍
WEDNESDAY:
I flushed Alma and Agatha today with a few gallons of ph'd spring water and sledgehammer. I watered Agatha with about a half-gallon of ph'd water with bembe, calimagic, terpinator, and bud candy. They really stunk up the house!
I'll let her go another week or so. She's actually about as ready as her dwarven sisters, but I'm hoping for a couple jars of full couch-lock bud to compare with.
THURSDAY:
Mmmmmm....😋
FRIDAY:
Will flush again tomorrow...and will start flushing Agnes too I think.
Took some photos...Mmmmmmm...😍
SATURDAY:
I flushed Agatha and Alma for the last time today, and I put a few gallons of spring water with sledgehammer through Agnes as well. She's in a 5gal pot, so I may flush her a couple more times before calling it done.
SUNDAY:
Oh my!! Thethe girlth are thuper thekthy!😂
My bong got word about the stink on these bitches and is anxiously waiting to help me destroy the evidence in a series of small fires.😁
TUESDAY 2/19:
Tomorrow is harvest day for the two dwarves, Agatha and Alma, but I'll flush Agnes one more time.
I didn't have an opportunity to take any photos today, but will tomorrow before I hack them to bits.😉
WEDNESDAY:
I harvested Agatha and Alma today, but I'm waiting to do the harvest post for a few more days when I kill Agnes.
Both dwarves were very easy trimming. Super skunky/hazey stank. Very resinous.😍
I'll probably pull an ounce from Alma and maybe 1.5oz from Agatha...not much yield, but truly killer dwarves...
Agnes got flushed for the last time today. I put her under a UVB and will let her dry out for a few days, then give her a day or darkness. She's gonna produce at least 60g, maybe 70g.
SATURDAY:
Agnes is sitting in the dark until tomorrow.
SUNDAY:
I harvested Agnes today. I think she'll probably be closer to 50 than 60 grams. Her buds weren't as compact as I thought. Still, she was as ripe as she could get. She smells super funky!👌
Excellent choice for any time of day. I smoke it before I work, before and after I eat, before I sleep. Work goes quicker, food tastes better, and I have no trouble falling right to sleep. Smells like it tastes...like a wintergreen candy with a slight skunky essence...
3/18:
I finally got around to trying the bigger one....tastes like Mango-flavored candy! Very sweet with very tropical notes..very different than the other two, but delicious!
SUNDAY 2/24:
I harvested Agnes today, so that's it for the Amnesia Autos.
Both Alma and Agatha were harvested a few days earlier and are still drying. They are turning very, very orange...lovely!
This is the most malodorous strain I've ever grown. It stinks up the whole house. Got multiple methods employed to deal with it and still falling short of discretion...while growing and especially while drying! But, damn, that's some beautiful bud. Insane bag-appeal!😲
I'll post photos in a few days, and final weights and a smoke report at later dates-
THURSDAY 2/28:
Final weights....(drumroll please)...
Agnes - 78g
Agatha - 59g
Alma - 52g
TOTAL: 189g
Smoke report next week!!!
3/17:
I've been smoking it for a solid week and ..um...I forgot.. to do the smoke/trip report...it's like I have self-induced Amnesia 😁
Yield: 7
Potency: 8
Flavor: 9
Aroma: 9
Bag-appeal: 10
Easy strain to grow and very rewarding. Frickin' awesome for freebies! 💪😎👍
You could supercrop that Critical Punch as much as you need to keep her the same height as the rest.
It doesn't retard bud development in the slightest..just changes the shape of the buds.
Gratz on finishing the grow! This strain sure finishes fast! The Dark Devil strain is even faster. I'm still getting used to these autos and their flowering schedule. It's a pain in the ass figuring out a nutes schedule.
@Silverback_Guerilla, I doubt my DD will make it 70 days. I might try to extend it out to get some nice amber trichs. The Amensia is starting to look done, but I'm pretty sure she has 4 weeks. Harvesting plants at 12 weeks takes some getting used to, but I'll take it if the bud is really good.
I thought I did a pretty good job picking strains that grew well together. 3/4 are about the same height, structure, and development.
The Critical Punch is the oddball. I don't know what to do about her.
I have a buddy who grows outdoors. As far back as I can remember he's grown the same 3 strains. Tasty as hell, but he's set in his ways.
@Quexos,
Thanks!
Ya, I'm really kinda surprised that the Amnesia finished before the Candy Canes..
The last two times I grew Candy Cane it was done in 63 and 65 days, which is what this Amnesia took(65)...but I do have one Candy Cane slated for execution on the day after tomorrow when I kill the last Amnesia.
I've only grown 2 x Dark Devils so far, and they were both done right at 70 days...so glad I still have a few DD beans! Love the flavor(and effect)!
Ya, managing feeding on multiple auto varieties is a total pain in the ass....and trying to find varieties that will have the same feeding requirements, growth rate, and eventual size is a real challenge...I'm actually considering growing a tentful of one strain at a time to make my life easier, but, alas, I love variety.
Nice tent full of buds! Buds have really filled out over the last few weeks! It's amazing how these autos just race to the finish once they get started! I end up having to recalculate my feeding schedule!
I agree about the smell. Every time I have to water or move this plant, the whole tent has this unique aroma. I can't quite place it yet.
@Quexos, Ya, I hear ya...I had a half-pounder finish in late summer that took about 1/5 of the whole tent..but I still managed to grow 9 more medium-large plants in 5 gallon pots with her...
I had to supercrop one of them, twice...
I've said it before: Completing ridiculously overplanted gardens are a little like landing a 747 on a municipal air strip...scary, but thrilling.
John Lennon said "Happiness is a warm gun."
I personally believe that happiness is a full tent. 😜
@Silverback_Guerilla, Other than lights, it really depends on the plants. Some strains are compact. You can fit a lot in a small space. I think my Orange Critical Punch is going to be a wild one. I could only fit one of those in my little tent, and probably 2-3 in my larger tent.
@Quexos,
I wouldn't even consider this many plants with my previous lighting rig. (4 x 100w 3500k COB's, a 120w QB with 301's, a 2000w blurple(367w actual, and several 660nm spots and panels).
I was getting very good PPFD over most of the tent, but there were many "cold spots" that were just getting overlap from a few sources at once..no direct intense light. With my new rig, there are no cold spots at all...and if I grow taller than average plants, I've got another 30w of 3000k side lighting available on each side.
Also, because my tent has a shelf in it, I have all my floor space available for plants. That really makes quite a difference.
@ROM101, Ya, it has a very unique aroma..looking forward to smoking some!
One of the 3 that I planted quickly outgrew it's 3gal pot and got rootbound around week 4. I put it into a 5gal and managed to save her, but she stunted for a while. The other two had no problem with the smaller pots, but are a bit smaller and slower.
That is a nice bud shot! Gratz on the harvest! I'm looking forward to seeing the yield reports.I hope my Amnesia fills out that much by the time she is ready to harvest. I've been noticing a lot of bud growth in the last week.
I do like the color of this strain. Its very orange! It looks cool in my tent with the Dark Devil. I have purple, orange and boring greed buds!
I haven't noticed any overwhelming scents to this strain. Maybe when I get it out by itself to flush, I'll notice.
Wow that's awesome big beautiful buds and the colors are insane this is why I trust and appreciate your experience no better experience than first hand lol
