Hey everyone, welcome to my girlfriend and I's first grow together (and her first grow). A key thing to keep in mind while going through this diary is that every photo that is on the left is my girlfriend's plant and every photo on the right is my plant. We're going to be using a Advanced Nutrients fertilizers in this grow. I know we can fit more plants in the tent but we're in a new area and want to test how strong the odor will be before growing a bigger amount. Any tips with dealing with the odor would be very beneficial! UPDATE: One of the Mango OG's didn't survive so we decided to germinate 2 new seeds which we will record their progress in a new diary, for this diary we will just document the Mango OG that survived. 28-07-2024: Prepped seeds for germination, we will be uploading an update once we see any growth the next upcoming days 30-07-2024: Seeds have sprouted, will move them into the tent by end of the day or the upcoming morning 31-07-2024: Going to place seeds into tent 31-07-2024: Placed seeds into tent End of the week recap: Germinated easily and wonderfully, hoping these phenotypes are going to provide a high yield with high thc %, this is going to be the first time we grow Mango OG or any strain from Humboldt Seed Org.

Is my plant growing too slow? I haven't grown in four years and I'm getting back to it now and I'm seeing diaries whos plant looks bigger than mine by day 4-5 whilst mine is on day 11. Do let me know if her growth is normal or stunted.

There are so many variables you can not compare your grow to others too much. you can kind of get an idea but don't judge a book by is cover per say. A slow starting seedling might be a really dank plant if you give it some love. I can tell you are excited to be growing again and just want to make sure you are doing your best. it looks great!

Do you think the growth is slow for its age? It's going to its 7th week and it looks pretty small to me (I'm the gf) and this is my first grow and I'm not sure if we could have done something better to make it more bushier and bigger. Any advice?

wow, some people are really angry, eh? Ignore the assholery exhibited for no cause. I think it looks fine. Looks like you topped it once and trained it outward. It's got a good base to grow vertiically, Bushy is good to a point. Figure 2-3 colas per sq ft by the time you flip to flower and have faith that it will fill in fully. Doing so avods overcrowding and gives you all the light penetration you need. My grows are so much better when i am disciplined in this aspect and it helps reduce wasted vege time when you can plan it out every step of the way as far as training the plant. If anything, i bet you have to thin out some central areas before all is said and done. Keep training the other stuff outward until it's all leveled off. depending on the area you need to fill, probably need to send it to flower sooner than later. it'll at least double its footprint after you do flip to 12/12. Looks like it can do a bit more than 1/4th of that tent already. By having a plan, you can also prune off growth tips that won't be used. Rather prune off a little 2-node branch than something that a lot more time and resources went into. Taking off a little at a time won't chock the plant, either. Avoids wasted vege growth. more resources go to the branches that will see flowers. check out cocoforcannabis.com. All their grow guides are golden. The blog posts from dr photon and i think there's another 'creator/ official contributor' type are good reads too. Definitely pick out the pertinent ones to your current context, but all good things to read at some point. Best place to avoid bro-science.

@MindFlowers68, Okay wonderful, was just feeling worried because in the night my temps dropped to 17.5 c and i thought maybe it got stunted a bit, tbh it might have but shes starting to pick up the pace! I also fixed the unstable temp problem so we should be good from now on
