Hi fellow growers.
I know its bad karma to create a diary in week 6 but I did not have the time before. Sorry for that. Just wanna share some pictures from some nice plants I grow at the moment.
4 WCOG´s and 2 Blackberry´s.
I pushed hard on the nutes from start flower. A little too hard but both strains love nutrients according to the breeder Fastbuds. Tips are a little bit burned. Nothing critical. Just flushed them with FloraKleen yesterday. Buds look good and develop quick.
Watering every day with 1 - 1,5 liter. The pots dry out very quickly. I guess the roots suck up everything in no time because heat is no problem around the pots. 28 degrees and very good airflow. Its just very thirsty plants i guess.
One of the Blackberry´s will be ready in one week i think. Ecxactly 8 weeks from seed. Thats quite impressive i think. The other one looks like 2 and a half/3 weeks left.
3 of the WCOG´s will be ready in about 3 weeks. The last one is 5 days younger and will be ready in about a month.
SETUP :
Growroom : Earlier walk in closet. Now full time growroom. High ceilings (about 2,50 meters). Tall big plants are no problem at all.
Light :
: Spectrum King SK602 (640 watt high quality LED light).
Soil/coco
: Bio Bizz light mix (70 procent) and Bio Bizz coco (30 procent).
I added some Co2 to the growroom. Its the first time i did that and the plants gets much much bigger. And they look more healthy too.
Questions/advices are always welcome : )
Merry Christmas everyone. Enjoy your tree(s) ... ; )
Ok .. harvest will be in 2-5 days (today is day 59) .. Thrichomes are milky white on all plants except the late wcog of course. I just wait for a little amber and down they go. Smell is extremely fresh citrus/coconut from the wcog´s .. absolutely not bad : ) .... Blackberry look like fruit you want to eat right away .. very beautiful .. and buds are big as i have never seen before on autoflowers. I am very excited to see how much medicine those two girls will offer me.
The growing of these two beauties was amazing to follow. I was scared about the height on one of them in early flower. It just moved on vertically like a rocket that could not be stopped. But it did at last and it ended on 145 cm ... thats pretty amazing i think. Both plants had troubles carrying their own weight in end flower .. so some of the buds had to be supported. The smell is very strong .. very hashy .. and the buds look like their ready to dripping blood or something. Dark red/purple with lots of resin and diamonds : )) ...
Harvested on day 60 ..
For now I give this lovely plant 10 out of 10 ...
I be back in 14 days with dry bud weight and taste/smoke/effect report : )
10 of january : I am back ... Blackberry is .. strong, heavy and for experienced users .. Not my favourite kind of smoke but some of my friends are willing to die to get some .. we want more they say ... so maybe i grow some more Blackberry : )The plants are beautiful .. very beautiful and i enjoyed growing them. No doubt about that. Maybe i put some new in the oven : )
Bud dry weight was a little disappointing because the buds really looked BIG. Average for Blackberry is 80-85 gram pr plant indoor. So seen in that light its ok with 162 grams on 2 plants i think.
I grew this strain from Fastbuds many times before and it is for sure my favourite. A true pleasure to grow and a true pleasure to smoke. I never stop grow this strain.
WCOG 1 : 130 g
WCOG 2 : 116 g
WCOG 3 : 126 g
The smoke/taste/effect is excellent as always ... 10 out 10. Still my favourite.
@ClubRiot,
Thanks Riot : ) ... I am very happy with this grow. Normally I dont get so big plants and the only change is the CO2 that i added to the growroom.
I am not a pro grower at all. So i know some things about cannabis and other things I dont know. And I did not know that CO2 could make such a difference. If it is the CO2 of course. I dont know. What do you think/know ? : )
@HighTV,
It can be very different but typical between week 3 and 7 the colours will show : )
But of course .. the situation can also be that you have a "white" pheno. I have never seen that before though : )
@HappyGrower, Well i'm into week 6 and no real signs of it on my timelapse plant. The other 2 in the tent are glowing purple, but this one hasn't turned yet. Ill give it another week before calling it tho. Time will tell tho wish me luck lol!
