10/31/24: Ladies are getting pretty dry, I'll probably need to water them tomorrow. I'm also probably going to need to to put some supports for the last few days. 11/1/24: Felt pretty light today. Went ahead and watered them. My excitement is building and I cant wait to see how this turns out. 11/2/24: Yellowing a little more, Really hoping this is the normal color change during the end of flower/flush. Keep your fingers crossed I don't screw nothing up in the home stretch. 11/3/24: Ladies are still having a hard time keeping their heads up. Definitely think I started the flush a little early, but you live and you learn. 11/4/24: Checked on the girls this morning and decided to come back later tonight to check on them and take pics. Unfortunately I completely forgot that the clocks went back so the lights cut off an hour early now and it was too late for me to take any. More pics incoming tomorrow. 11/5/24: Ladies feel a little light but I think they can go one more day before another water. I'll double check later just in case. Its also coming really close to chop time, going to ask the advice of the wiser growmies here before I jump the gun.

Just recently transplanted(1gal - 5gal), first-timer so it didn't go as smoothly as I planned or hoped. The girls look a little sad, which I hear is pretty normal this soon after transplanting, but is there anything I can do that can help the ladies make a full/quick recovery?

They are going to recover perfectly in just a few days. Give them some time to get used to their new environment and make new roots/drink the moisture from the fresh soil and they will peak up again!😊 I think they are looking very good for your first grow! 😊

The yellowing has gotten worse and I'm noticing slightly burnt tips/edges and some droop. Could this be burn/deficiency or over/underwatering? A combination? Is there anything I can do to fix this early or is it just a matter of giving them some time and less nutrients? Thanks!

Difficult to tell, but my guess would be a combination of nitrogen deficiency (the yellowing is quite uniform) and a little overwatering. Mg deficiency the leaf veins stay quite green and the rest of the leaf lightens.

I've heard that you shouldn't top your ladies while there are any deficiencies or issues as it can be extremely stressful. Considering the light spotting and slightly burnt tips, would you say these gals are fine to top or should I wait until everything is perfect and dialed in?

They are looking happy and healthy. You can definitely top, just take off as little as you can on the top node. Sometimes you might need to wait a day or 2 for it to open up so you can cut just the tip off. That helps a lot for them to not take too much of a hit.

Flowering time is said to be 60-70 days, today is day 62. I've seen a lot on the trichomes and when to harvest but I don't quite have the eye for it yet as it's my first time. Would you guys say these are ready or should I go a few more days. Thanks in advance for any help!

Its not just trichomes you check for harvest time. Will also want to look at how much its drinking, its pistil dry back and how dense the buds are. Ideally it is not drinking a lot as its done growing, the pistils will be around 80% dried and the buds are as dense as they are going to get, this is all in conjunction with the trichomes colour. Some times just one metric works other times need multiple. You can harvest a bit before its window period. its still going to get you high. cloudy and amber trichomes are degradation clear ones have max thc in them. But its not just about THC. a mix of THC,CBD,CBN and w/e elce it makes is the goal. a nice melody of all. Leave it on the plant where all the trichomes are amber and it will be very sedative weed as most of the THC will degrade into CBN Good Luck!

In micro photo you have sugar leaf. You dont check any leaf trichomes, you check buds calaxies and trichomes on it, not on leaf. By look to eye they still have a week, by maturity of trichs i cant tell. If you see most milky and a bit of ambers - thats perfect time.

High KingMickey, You still need about 1 or 2 weeks to go. The best way to tell that a plant is ready for harvest is with a pocket microscope (60x is perfect). The trichomes change color from uripe (clear as glass) to ripe (milky white) to expired (amber brown). When 80% from the trichomes are milky white it is the perfect time to harvest. But if you do not want to use a microscope then the pistils (brown hairs) are the second best indicator. When 80-90% from the pistils are brown it is time to harvest. You still need 1 to 2 weeks till the ideal time for harvest. The buds look great buddy! Enjoy the harvest! 💚

Your doing everything spot on and for your first time aswel. I might be wrong but your perlite is telling me too much water or not leaving medium to dry out almost between water/feed etc.. Good luck mate Happy growing 👍

As a beginner, this site has been such an amazing resource. Being able to ask you guys questions, and get such great advice from all you more experienced folk has been extremely helpful. Most importantly, however, the community being so kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful has not only made this whole learning experience a lot less intimidating and difficult, but also a lot more fun. HUGE thank you to everyone that takes the time to comment, answer, and help out!!!
