The tent was hot this week. I had to keep the doors open throughout most of the light cycle. Took a look at this strain and thought it might be fun to grow. I'll top one plant and train both/other plant to gather some data before the next run.
Only a couple of pics this week showing their progress through 14 days from seed. Giving them a little water every 2-3 days and they seem to be doing well. Next week I'll add some nutes to help with root zone development.
Garden is chugging along nicely. Both plants have practically doubled in size. I started to give them some microbes to jump start the root zone this week. I've watered them every 3 days but limiting the watering to a pint or less. I will transplant these early next week into the bigger tent with the 315w cmh light.
This will be the last week these girls are in veg. Pre flowers surfaced recently and they'll only get bigger from here on out. I love the plant structure so far. They're looking robust!
Both plants transitioned from veg to flower this week. Had some stretching and bunches of pistils appear at flower sites. Started to feed them some basic bloom nutrients.
Both plants appear to have stretched to their max. These topped pretty well too. A lot of bud sites are developing nicely. I can see green mass developing beneath the pistils. I added Big Bud and Herculean Harvest to the nutrient feedings.
Stopped feeding them Bud Ignitor and doubled the dose of Big Bud. Both phenos look very happy and healthy this week. They're starting to build up the frost level and pack on some weight as we move into the mid flowering phase.
Both phenos are packing on some weight. They're also getting nice and frosty. I'm going to start to feed them Overdrive and back off on the Big Bud next week as we start to approach the finish line. I'll probably be doing another round of these since most of my patients are requesting the GSC.
Stopped using Big Bud and switched to late bloom feeding with Overdrive. I ran out of Rhino Skin and won't be replacing it. Both of these phenos are really starting to pack on weight and frost. I can't wait for the smoke sesh!
I started to cut off nitrogen this week and fed the plants carbs, trike generators and liquid bonemeal. I'll be going full on flush next week. Both plants are very sticky and dank!
I was hoping to harvest these around day 78-79 but the trichomes tell me to keep on truckin! We're feeding them just a flush additive and hoping to harvest around day 85-86 but we'll wait and see. Leaves are fading nice as we approach the finish line.
@Sgtoso,
Thanks day one of week 8 is actually this wensday , I seem too be working a week in advance as it's easier for me as I make up my feed bucket in advance hence why no pics on this week yet , so I pray they will fill out ,
@LockDownGrow, Thanks for stopping by bro! It looks like mine started flowering a week sooner than yours. I wouldn't sweat it too much if they catch up next week!. You've got a lot of nice tops on your girl so it should still bloom out nice! Peace
Ahhh hell yeah brotha !!!! Look at them now such beauty !!! Im happy for you bro keep up the good work and best of luck on your future runs !!

@LockDownGrow, I'm assuming you are referring to autoflowers because I do defoliate differently for photoperiod strains.
With an autoflower strain I don't take off any fan leaves until after a week or two of flowering. What I do is stand over the plant and look down through the canopy. What I'm looking for are large fan leaves that are blocking lower bud sites. While rotating the plant 90 degrees, I'll strategically remove some of the leaves while I'll tuck others below a bud site. If I topped the plant I'll remove the fan leaves that point towards the center of the pot as these are most likely to interfere with the other flower sites.
You'll want to remove them sparingly. Think of the fan leaves as solar panels absorbing the energy from the sun. If you take too many off the growth will be stunted. I would recommend removing one or two a day as needed over the course of a couple of weeks.
Finally, I'll remove these leaves at the base of the fan leaf as opposed to next to the stalk. The fan leaf stalk will dry up and fall off on its own while causing minimal stress to the plant.
Sometimes I'll have to lollipop. Look at my Stardawg auto grow. Those plants have way too many fan leaves. Lollipopping is removing all of the lower growth that will never amount to anything.
Good luck and happy growing!
Looks good brotha ! Im excited for mine to look like that haha :D :D I just planted some GSC and some Dark Devil Auto looking forward for my room to stank of the dank dank again :P :)

@The_Projexx, Thanks for the stopping by and the compliments! I'm sure you're going to love growing these. Nice stalk formations, node spacing is decent and the flower development is on point.
Yay !! New seedlings !! This strain is part of my next grow , keep up the good work my friend ! remember when they are young less is more ! :)
