Have fixed my drooping problem! Recovering from light burn and trying to get a feel of how much light the girls like. Running light at 80% 400w from wall (200w each) started at 34" moving light down 1" daily.

Hello ! The 1st overwatering sign is the droopy leaves and from what I can see your leaves aren't droopy or are no more droopy ( if it was the case ) what makes me think that your overwatering issue is behind you now. Concerning the "praying leaves" this is a sign of toom much heat or a too low humidity level or both. From what I can see you temperatures seems to be perfect but How far is the light from the top ? is the temp the same at the top of the plant ? it's common to have an higher temps around the light than in the box . Concerning your humidity you should be around 80% (70% mini but 80% is better ) and I can read 43% which is way too low so you should try to grab a humidifier to get the RH higher. I think that the praying leaves + the yellow colour and tips burn ( or starting to ) is due to the low humidity + the fact that she need to recover from the over watering which makes the nutrients absorbtion harder than usual. I hope it will help you

Hey there D so I've been having some seedling problems myself and after looking things over i noticed the most severe problem was too much moisture in the soil. I havent had to water again and its been about 9 days, ive only been misting slightly and misting the cup that's serving as a humidity dome. So maybe see they're watered well, and then leave them alone, let them get some fresh air each day and some humid air each day, and make sure theres good drainage holes. For myself, the more I tried messing with things the worse it got. I just needed time, good temp, and to take it easy on the watering. I hope they pull through for you, I think nature usually finds a way, just give it time. ✌️

I believe I light burned my plants when I put in my second 300W LED. Plant's yellowing on tops and drooping and canoeing. Have just switched to 12/12 light 4 days ago. And started to feed Flowering mix of 9ml pure blend pro and 1.5ml cal-mag per 4L. Feed every water.

The canoeing up is probably due heat stress. The droopy (and puffy) leaves look like over watering, I mean 5.5 liters every 4 days? that sounds like too much, it can explain the yellowing too. You switched to bloom nutes too soon, keep giving the plants grow nutes for at least 3 weeks, to power the stretch. The plants look like it has both a P and K deficiency.

hey Dandamans, this doesnt look fantastic, but it could be one of two things scenarios : lockout/deficiency, or aging/flowering - the lower leaves could be nothing and just falling off after being canabalised for nitrogen as part of being old or the soil might be lacking in nitrogen. The top leaves could be turning colorful because of a lack of K potassium or it could be lock out from the nutrients that went too far. I can't really tell you more than this based on the progression I'm seeing. I hope you're not feeding every watering at least , because that would explain the first scenario. Hope this helps ! 🚀

give it more medium and make sure you have a nutrients line ready. give it a little calmag and spray the top with water once or twice a day, but if all else fails it could be a critter/fungus problem

dont give up, maybe transplant carefully, and make sure you follow a strict WET/DRY cycle, maybe it will recover who knows !

CRiSPrGrowcommented6 years ago
@Dandamans, seedlings dont like it too humid too long, they do like a wet dry cycle, but they really hate going too dry for too long... yes you should limit how much water you use, and make sure there's holes for the water to drain otherwise... it's gonna rot

@CRiSPrGrow, Appreciate the help! Should I limit how much water i use so i don't soak the pot?

@Dandamans, We all have little hickups in our grows. I'm certain a few days of tender love will get the color back into your plants and they'll be magical. Flush them with some nice and clean distilled water and let the soil dry out and they should be perfect.

Hard to see the babies suffering. But i have no clue why . Do you know the EC of the soil=? it should be written on the package, i could not find a ec in the internet. my guessig is that the soil has to much nutrients for the small ones. maybe look at the package and tell us the ec Seedlings are very sensitive, and need a "low fertilised" soil with the right ec to start good
Mrs_Larimar
Mrs_Larimarcommented6 years ago
@Dandamans,i rea lly dont know it . normally ph and ec are onto the bag... maybe you ask at the company for the ec of the fertilisers ( how much are inside) but for the next grow i would take another soil for the seedlings ( plagron / biobizz ) you can transplant them later into your berger soil. if i diagnose a plant i work with exclusing causes. and all the other datas are good, for me remains the soil... happy growing, hope you get some information i think ihave seen a"lightmix" on th website too but no more information hoe "light" the soil is I would order a bag of Biobizz/ or plagron soil and transplant them into that. if they are bigger you can use that soil from berger

Dandamanscommented6 years ago
@Mrs_Larimar, I could not find very much information on the bag. But online i found that Berger BM6 has Coarse Peat Moss, Dolomitic and Calcitic Limestone, Perlite, Non-Ionic Wetting Agent, & a fertilizer starter charge built it. I wonder if the fertilizer is the issue! Should i flush plants? Thanks so much for the help!
