Soaked seed for 2 days in water at ph 6.2. Planted in Pro-mix HP soil and used a clear plastic cup as a humidity dome. Seedling sprouted in 2 days. Here’s day 6.
I Transplanted to a .75 gallon pot. She’s growing a little slowly, but I’m not concerned. Once her roots are established, I’m sure she’ll doing awesome.
I topped her early this week. She’s recovered. Not as bushy as her Peyote Critical sister, But she’s getting there. I’ll probably let this one veg long. Maybe bring the light closer.
She’s getting bigger and filling out. I’ll defoliate and switch to flower once she gets to 15 inches. I’m hoping to get some purple buds, like my GelatOG.
Stretch is done and pistils are forming. I defoliated, as she’s 2.5 weeks into flower. Now we wait. Blue Ice OG is supposed to have very strong branches, and these are pretty stiff. So I shouldn’t need to add supports. But nothing would make me happier than buds heavy enough to weigh these branches down. I added Tiger Bloom to her feedings.
Not good. Power has been out all week. She’s just started making pistils recently, so she might be okay. We’re going to find out which of my strains is the most resistant this week.
Well, she survived the power outage, and seems none the worse for wear. I found no mold or powdery mildew. Hopefully that week of darkness and cold won’t hurt the quality too much.
She’s getting closer to the end! She’s really putting on bulk, and I’m excited to take her for a spin. It looks like it’ll be a 4/10 harvest date. And I’ll be smoking the hell out of this strain by 4/20!
Getting closer! It’s at 58 days now. Might let her go until 70. She smells really strong. My spring time nose can’t tell what it smells like, but it’s strong. 😄
She’s almost done. She smells rather a lot. Definite berry scent. I think that, under normal circumstances, this strain would have been done by now, but that week in the dark set her back. I won’t complain. I accidentally broke one of the branches 4 days ago, and I’ve been drying it since. I’ll get a proper early sample in another couple of days.
It’s time to chop! The smell is UNREAL! Even my nose can smell the berry and lemon coming off of her! I’m hanging her up without wet trimming. I’ll leave her up there for a week, depending on room temps. Temps are rising with spring, so I like to leave all the leaves attached, to prevent her drying too quickly.
This strain flowered through a week long power outage in winter, with little adverse effect. . It’s delicious, potent, beautiful, and easy to grow. I’ll be growing it again, but with a different set of nutrients.
